About: I love to care for our furry canine friends and am dedicated to providing a safe and fun place where dogs can be their doggy-selves. I have over 25 years of experience owning dogs, from a small Jack Russel-Corgi to a full-on Border Collie, and many mixes in between. We are especially experienced with senior dogs with hearing loss, mobility issues and anxiety, and can provide a separate and calm space for them if needed. Upon request, I also offer 30 min dog training sessions while they are here or by appt. I have a flexible schedule which allows me to keep an eye on the dogs and tend to their needs throughout the day. I give the dogs potty and exercise breaks, usually every 2-4 hours as needed. When the weather is nice I spend more time outdoors with the dogs. My daycare rate is for 8 hrs. If it's an extended stay, I add $5 per additional hour. I require a meet and greet before the first sit to make sure it's a good fit. My home is clean, quiet, and safe for pets. Including my own dog, there will only be a max of 3 dogs at any given time. It is a spacious environment, so if your fur baby wants some space to chill, I can give them a place where they feel comfortable away from other dogs.

We have a friendly 9 year-old German shepherd mix named Marshall that we adopted from a rescue at 8 weeks old so we have the ability and patience to host puppies. Marshall is our first family dog, Roberta grew up with multiple dogs caring for them from pups through seniors. Additionally, our 4 year-old daughter has enough energy to provide tons of additional fetch and chase time. We are also able to (and love) having pups with special needs. Marshall's best friend is blind and we have cared for him on many occasions. We can also administer medications and prepare specialized meals when needed. We have a large backyard that allows for plenty of jaunts and potty breaks. As well as plenty of space in the house for quiet time and naps. Your pup will have full access to make themselves comfortable in their home away from home. Travis works from home allowing for full time care. Roberta is a teacher nearby and is home early to allow for additional time and attention. We are able to fit your pup into our daily feeding, potty, play schedule or can adjust to meet their needs. In our home, your pets are treated like family. They'll enjoy a cozy environment with plenty of playtime in our large yard or indoors if it's too hot/cold. They'll have plenty of play time with our pup Marshall if they like or space to chill if that's what they prefer. Your pet will have access to our home to nap and play wherever they feel comfortable, and we also have the space to crate if, that's your preference.

She made sure Maddie got plenty of relief breaks, especially on the very miserable days of rain, and Barbara’s home at the end of a no exit street meant Maddie was always safe. Rainy days were spent curled up on the sofa, and there were treats too. There were walks in the forest and by the river, which Maddie loves. Maddie clearly enjoyed her 3 days, enabling us to sight see in NYC without worry. Generously, Barbara dropped us at the rail station when she collected Maddie, and picked us up again. She was really flexible with my dates, which I couldn’t confirm until the last minute, and even then had to alter them. She was also friendly, chatty and warm, a pleasure to meet her.”

She makes going away easy becasue I know I don't have to worry about Coco or Lola. Teresa even stepped up when Lola got hurt the day before a recent trip we had planned to Europe for 2 weeks. Lola ended up with stitches and I wasn't sure what we were going to do with our trip. About: I come from a family of animal lovers, I have taken care of both dogs and cats simultaneously for the past 10years. More recently, I was house sitting and caring for a friend’s kitten :) I’m available for pet care Saturday-Wensday. My hourse are very flexible as I’m looking for more work. This leaves me lots of time to care for your pet :) For pet sitting: I like to create a safe and welcoming environment that will allow the pet to feel comfortable. I follow a feeding schedule and ensure fresh water is always available and maybe a treat or two if the owner allows ;) I make sure to include playtime and walks based on the pets needs and preferences. I provide attention and companionship so that they won’t feel anxious or lonely, and lastly I’ll send updates on the pets well being and activities we did. For dog walking: I’ll follow the walking schedule provided by the owner, and also include playtime for fun exercise. I’ll make sure to use a safe walking route and maintain the dogs safety from other dogs or people. I’ll bring fresh water and treats! Lastly, I’ll be sure to clean up and properly dispose of the dogs waste.
