With standard house sitting, your dog should be comfortable being alone for approximately 6½ hours while I work my part-time morning shift at a dog daycare in Putnam Valley (8:00 AM–1:30 PM, 4 days a week, plus travel time). If your dog needs someone present most of the day and cannot comfortably be left for more than about two hours, I may still be able to accommodate them with extended-care house sitting at $185 per night. I require a meet-and-greet before accepting a new boarding or house-sitting client so we can make sure your dog and I are a great match. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work part-time at a dog daycare and also work from home as a self-employed bookkeeper and real estate agent. My schedule is flexible, and I can choose which days I work at the daycare, allowing me to plan around the dogs in my care.
