“Richard & Karen are very friendly & caring. This was our first time using their services and look forward to having Jinga over with them again in two weeks.”

About: My greatest passion, alongside travel, is caring for dogs! I had my beloved dog for 15 wonderful years, and though he passed away last year, I now find joy and fulfillment in spending time with other pups. They truly exude unconditional love. I primarily work as a massage therapist and am planning to pursue canine massage, which will open up even more opportunities to spend time with dogs. I currently work part-time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available all day on Mondays and Tuesdays in Croton-on-Hudson, 9am-4pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays in Manhattan, and every other weekend for boarding. I have housesat for over 15 homes and am very respectful of both the space and the dog's needs. If I host your dog in my home, it will be very comfortable in my spacious apartment, with frequent walks and playtime in the courtyard.

“First time using Rover, but have used other dogsitters before. Staci was very welcoming, kind, and confident in watching our elderly dachshund and all his little quirks. You can tell she has had plenty of experience, and I left for the day knowing our little nugget was in good hands. I look forward to the next time.”

“Lisa was EXCELLENT! We are so lucky to have found her. We recommend her highly. She took amazing care of our Siberian Husky Winston and he was so happy and comfortable the whole time he was with her. Lisa was responsive, dependable, flexible, and sent us picture and video updates. She is a dog expert and we trusted that our pup was in great hands. Winston was able to run around her beautiful, completely fenced property for hours and played and socialized with the other dogs she was caring for, making lots of new friends! He is still tuckered out from his exciting puppy vacation at Lisa’s! We would absolutely work with her again. Thank you Lisa for taking care of Winston!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently I am a pug mom. My pug has been highly socialized at doggy daycare‘s both in New York and out of state. Dogs have free reign in my home and plenty of toys to play with. I work from home full-time, so your pup will have constant care while he or she is here. I try to go for a few walks every day and will take your pup with me. I have a very friendly pug at home, and your pup will have free reign in my house to explore. I work from home and I’m available for a potty breaks and outside play all day. My property is NOT FENCED IN, however I have a large private backyard and live on a dead-end street in a quiet neighborhood.

“Barbara was just great for Maddie. She made sure Maddie got plenty of relief breaks, especially on the very miserable days of rain, and Barbara’s home at the end of a no exit street meant Maddie was always safe. Rainy days were spent curled up on the sofa, and there were treats too. There were walks in the forest and by the river, which Maddie loves. Maddie clearly enjoyed her 3 days, enabling us to sight see in NYC without worry. Generously, Barbara dropped us at the rail station when she collected Maddie, and picked us up again. She was really flexible with my dates, which I couldn’t confirm until the last minute, and even then had to alter them. She was also friendly, chatty and warm, a pleasure to meet her.”

About: I’ve been so lucky to have had multiple dogs to care for over the years, caring for them from the puppy stage through their senior years. I met my husband a few years ago because of the dogs I’d rescued as he is a veterinary doctor with over a decade of experience. Together, we have rehabilitated multiple dogs and found good homes for them. We are animal lovers and have our own fur baby, but there is always plenty of love to go around for these angels on earth. 🩷 I am home everyday and available to provide quality care for your fur babies. I have an 8-year old terrier who is very friendly and loves dog friends. I walk him everyday for at least 30 minutes in the park behind our house, and I would be happy to walk your dog with him. Walking is a great physical and mental workout for dogs! However, I understand that each dog has its own lifestyle and I am happy to cater to it in accordance with your instructions. My backyard is not fenced in, but my parents’ house is 4 minutes away and I use their big fenced-in yard to let my dog run freely and play fetch, as well as to play with his pup friends. If you authorize it, I could use the space for your pup too, otherwise, on-leash walks in the park are great!

“This is the 8th time Skye stays with Brenda. Skye is always happy when she realiizes she is going to Brenda’s house, and comes home happy as well, and today also bathed. Brenda is always quick to answer and sweet. It is great to be able to count on her help when we need. Thanks again, Brenda”

About: Animals are my whole life! I work at the SPCA Westchester with dogs as an Animal Care Specialist. I have 2 dogs of my own and a sweet cat. All three are dog and cat social. We would love to meet your pets and have them join us on long walks or even for sleepovers! I work four days a week at the SPCA Westchester. I can board animals any night of the week. They will go on long walks and be very loved! My mother is a fellow animal lover and will be around to care for all the animals if I am at work. I cook organic meals for my dogs. We take hour long walks everyday where my dogs (and yours) can swim if they’re interested. I have a large yard and a comfy home that welcomes all pets.

“Jessica has been a great help watching my Liam. She’s attentive to my concerns and provides great updates. Liam always comes home happy and sometimes I suspect he doesn’t want to come home. 😂”

About: I have flexibility during the day so I can walk, run and have fun with your dog or cat often. My love of and appreciation of dogs and cats has been my entire life. I have always had at least one at all times- large, medium, small, lazy, crazy and hazy ones. I was born and raised in the city and moved up to the suburbs in 1996 with my chocolate Coco and cat, Mr. Miyagi. It was a bit of a transition for us, but we managed. I have a lot of patience for our furry friends. That helps me understand and care for them better. Each “owner” or parent has different goals for their dog’s day. I understand and respect that. Just let me know what those goals are and I will customize my time with your pet.

About: If you have any additional questions please feel free to ask! just message me @ cell: 845-204- five two two one. You will have no regrets, I am the man for the job. I am a very responsible, and caring individual that will work hard with whatever I put my mind to. I am a male in my 30’s that is keeping young and healthy by going to the gym, running, working, and playing sports. I have always had a passion for those things since I was young so I still try and keep them in my everyday life. I grew up with great family and friends, and a lot of pets! Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, hamsters, you name It. We have had a lot of pets, mainly dogs throughout life my family and I. I have had mixed breeds, labs, pit bulls, Dalmatian, Yorky, pug, and a golden retriever of my own. I have a lot of experience caring for and taking care of pets. Taking care of my own, family and friends’, and others too. I’ve found a dog recently in Middletown, NY running the streets in the snow looking like it needed some help, so I rescued it. The dog was wet, his foot was cut, so I put him in my car with me. I dried him up, wrapped up his foot, got him some water and then continued to ride around town in my car for the next couple of hours to figure out who the owner was. Mission Accomplished after a while, and the family was very thankful. If you have any questions about anything! Let me know. “Denise was absolutely stellar. She has an amazing house with lots of space for dogs, she really takes good care of the dogs she sits for, and takes amazing photos! Cannot recommend enough.”

“Alexa and Alex were amazing! Great communicators and were very accommodating. They were flexible with pickup/drop off times, they helped a bit with crate training and separation training. They even offered to meet in person first to make sure Mabel was comfortable with them and Shay. But most importantly, Alexa and Alex were so sweet to Mabel and I could see by photos that Mabel was very happy being with them, in their home. Mabel and Shay were such best friends and were always so excited to see each other! I will always go to Alexa and Alex (and Shay) first for any babysitter needs in the future! 10/10!!!”

“Lisa took great care of our dog and was very attentive to helping her adjust to a new sitter. We look forward to having her care for our dog again!”

“Marielle and Mark were very sweet and communicative throughout the entire process from initial contact to picking up my dog from their house. They sent me videos and pictures of her during her stay as well as text updates. My dog loved playing with them in their fenced in backyard. I would definitely recommended Marielle and Mark, and I will be booking with them again.”

“Thank you, Vijaya, for your warm welcome and excellent care of Minnie. She enjoyed her long walk and the toy basket, and had a good day despite still wearing her Elizabethan collar. We knew she was in good hands right away, and look forward to having her stay with you again.”

7. Blanca V.
“I never imagined anyone could care for Pimentón the way we do at home… until we met Blanca. Our little one isn’t just a dog — he’s part of our story, part of our soul — and leaving him with someone else felt like tearing a piece of our hearts away. But Blanca didn’t just care for him… she loved him. From the very beginning, there was a magical connection. Blanca didn’t need words to understand him — she looked into his eyes and knew exactly what he needed. Every day, she sent us photos that brought tears to our eyes, because in each one we saw our Pimentón happy, safe, and loved. When we went to pick him up, he didn’t run to us like he usually does… he just looked at us with those shining little eyes that said, “I’m okay, I was in good hands.” And that, to us, meant more than a thousand words. Thank you, Blanca, for becoming his second family — for your tenderness, your devotion, and your immense heart. You didn’t just take care of our dog… you took care of our entire world.”

9. Hayley B.
“When I tell my doggy Gidget that we're going to see Hayley, she starts prancing and barking because she can't wait to see her. She even barks with impatience in the car because she can't wait to get there. And once GIdget sees Hayley, she gives her lots of kisses. I know that Hayley will take excellent care of my Gidget so I never worry about leaving her with this warm and loving friend.”
