NOTE: I board one pet at a time to ensure they get my 100% attention and love. I am certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. I have experience sitting for large dogs, small dogs, puppies, older dogs and lots of cats. I am also very comfortable giving pills to dogs and some shots for diabetic cats. I take great pride in sending adorable pictures and notes to clients to ensure they have real time updates to see their pets are happy and comfortable with me. Pet owners can feel relaxed knowing their pet is in great care while they are away. If you would like to set up a free meet and greet, please contact me. I am available for meet and greets during weekdays after 4:00 pm and I am very flexible on weekends. I work remotely now and I am available for boarding during the week and weekends and can do drop in walks and visits both during the week and on weekends I require at least 72hrs notice for boarding. I only take in one pet at a time, so I can ensure they get my full attention and can feel comfortable and pampered in my home. I will walk dogs three times a day if needed and try to keep to their regular routines.
“Maddie was a life saviour, on very short notice she took care of our dog, she updated us while she had our dog and took great care of her…I highly recommend her…”

“Hayden and Colin were so amazing when we needed someone last minute to watch our dog Mitch for a whole month. They treated him like one of their own dogs and sent us so many pictures every day of all their cuddles and play time. It was such a relief to have someone we could trust while we were away. They helped give his medication and manage his upset stomach. Mitch is already missing his dog friends and can’t wait to come visit again.”

About: Looking for more than just a quick walk or a busy kennel? I provide personalized, one-on-one care tailored to your dog's personality, age, and energy level. Whether your dog enjoys a neighborhood walk, a wooded trail hike, a sniff walk, puzzle games, fetch, or simply relaxing with companionship, my goal is to make every visit enjoyable, enriching, and stress-free. I have over 14 years of hands-on experience with dogs, including supervising groups of up to 30 dogs in a professional dog daycare and caring for puppy groups under 4 months old. For more than five years, I also organized dog hikes throughout Westchester County, NY, and Fairfield County, CT, giving dogs a safe, structured, and fun way to exercise and explore. My experience is strongest with Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Doodles, Cavaliers, and other friendly companion breeds that thrive with individualized attention, exercise, enrichment, and companionship. While I welcome many different breeds, I always schedule a meet-and-greet first to make sure we're the right fit for each other. My own Golden Retriever, Kobi, was my best friend and adventure partner for over 12 years. Together we explored hiking trails, beaches, kayaking trips, road trips from Maine to Florida, and countless daily walks. He taught me that every dog is an individual with unique needs, and that is exactly how I care for every dog I meet. I believe many dogs are happier with personalized care than large-group environments. Over the years, I have learned to read canine body language, recognize stress signals, manage different personalities, and create a calm environment where dogs feel safe and comfortable. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, oral medications, and dogs that simply need extra patience and attention. My home has a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and is just a five-minute walk from beautiful wooded trails. I intentionally keep boarding and daycare small by accepting only one guest dog at a time, or two dogs from the same family, so every dog receives plenty of supervision, affection, exercise, and individual attention. I also have a playpen available for puppies and young dogs who benefit from structured rest time. My apartment is on the second floor, so dogs should be be comfortable using stairs. While living in England, I helped care for a Golden Retriever, and later in Spain, I cared for a Yorkshire Terrier. These experiences, together with years of owning dogs, leading dog hikes, and working professionally in dog daycare, have given me experience with many different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. My approach combines practical experience with a calm, patient mindset. I am certified in Reiki and Emotion Code energy work and believe dogs thrive when they feel safe, understood, and respected. While every visit focuses first on your dog's physical needs, I also pay close attention to their emotional well-being. Services I offer: • Dog walking • Adventure walks and hikes (up to 2 hours) • 30-60 minute drop-in visits • Puppy visits and enrichment activities • Limited home daycare • Limited boarding for approved dogs For everyone's safety and comfort, I require a meet-and-greet before accepting new clients. I look forward to meeting you and giving your dog the same love, attention, and care that I gave my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I am self-employed as a bookkeeper and real estate agent, which allows me to work primarily from home and maintain a flexible schedule. While I occasionally leave the house for appointments, errands, or property showings, I am able to plan my schedule around the needs of the pets in my care. This flexibility allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, companionship, and close supervision for dogs staying in my home. I provide a safe, calm, and personalized environment with plenty of individual attention. My home has a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, and I live just a 5-minute walk from wooded trails for walks and adventures. Dogs have access to a comfortable sofa, toys, and puzzle games for enrichment and mental stimulation. I live in a second-floor apartment, so dogs should be comfortable using stairs. I only accept 1 dogs at a time or 2 from the same family to ensure each dog receives plenty of supervision, exercise, and companionship.

“Stephanie is amazing! She cared for our pup on short notice, sent update texts and kept him an extra night due to weather complications. Very accommodating and reliable, thank you!”

“Grace was excellent with our dog, Leni. He had some serious separation anxiety when we dropped him off and went on a hunger strike for several days. Not only did Grace keep us hell informed, she went above and beyond in trying to make Leni feel comfortable in her home and went as far as spoon feeding him to get him to eat. We're so thankful for all that she did to take care of Leni. I would highly recommend Grace to anyone looking for a loving and caring home in which to leave their pup while traveling. Thank you, Grace!!”

“Dew was fantastic! Her communication was great, she made sure my dog was comfortable and settled in. She sent status updates throughout his stay. He came home unstressed and in a great mood all happy and healthy. I would highly recomend her to anyone looking for dog care!”

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a child! My love for animals has motivated me to enroll in vet tech school, starting this fall. I specialize in small mammals, such as rabbits and hamsters, and have owned my own. I have also cared for guinea pigs, parakeets, and aquariums. For dogs, I have experience working with both small and large breeds! I regularly look after my neighbor's dog, and love every opportunity I get to spend time with her. For cats, I have primarily done drop in visits, but have experience with administering medicine to shy cats by building trust over time. I currently do not own pets of my own, so I will be able to give your pet my full attention and care! I am currently spending my summer before starting vet tech school working part time, volunteering at local shelters, and shadowing at clinics. I work weekends, but can still do an early morning or evening visit if needed! Your pet's comfort and safety is my number one priority and I will care for them as if they are my own! Communication and trust is important to me, so I will update you regularly on their happiness and health.

About: Alongside dogs I’ve taken care of cats when necessary since I was young. The thing I love about animals is that they all have such unique personalities and cats often have some of the most unique I’ve ever met. I love meeting new cats and look forward to learning more about them.
About: I was a hands on member in my own dogs professional training, and I have taken care of friends and family’s dogs of all ages and breeds so there’s really nothing I haven’t seen before. That being said, I am well-versed in the high demand and needs of puppies and can confidently say that I am trained to care for them and all the hurdles that they entail. Having rescued my fur baby as a puppy off of the streets, she’s had her fair share of difficulties. Everyday has been such a blessing to see how far she’s come, and continues to. I have such a firm belief that dogs are truly a man’s best friend, and their greatest companion and deserve all the time and love that they deserve. Just from getting in walks everyday, to intentionally setting time aside to play with them is so important. In my home, I pretty much hang out with my Blaze as much as I possibly can. Every hour that I’m home, my dog is right by my side. Even when leaving the house my Blaze is in the backseat of my car ready for a road trip. I think to be deserving of a dogs love means putting in the time to treat them with the care they require, whether that time goes to an extra long walk, or play time with the ball, or even making sure she’s getting all the nutrients she needs in her food. How I can for my dog is how I intend to care for any future clients dog, with care and time.
“Camila was the BEST sitter for my kitty - she went above and beyond to share updates and photos and took excellent care of her while I was gone. I felt like I was leaving my cat with a family member and would absolutely book her again.”

About: I have experience caring for cats, having owned a Persian cat throughout my teenage years. I was responsible for her daily care, including brushing her coat, cleaning the litter box, feeding, and giving her plenty of attention. I currently offer drop-in visits for cats, and I'm also happy to provide house sitting for families with both dogs and cats, so all of your pets can stay comfortable in their own home while you're away.
“Candice was the sweetest pet sitter for our cat! She was patient with him and communicative with us throughout the time we were away. We would definitely rebook her in the future!”

“Chris was a delight to work with! He stayed with our 4 kitties for a week and took excellent care of them, despite their shyness/fussiness. It had been so long since we had traveled for an extended time and it was a great relief to know our fur babies were in good hands while we were away. Will definitely reach out to him in the future!”

“Greeshma is absolutely wonderful! Her consistency and care is evident. Also she sends the most detailed photos and stories when she visits so you feel connected to your pet. Can’t thank her enough.”

“Melissa was amazing! Our cat has been really picky with food and Melissa went out of her way to try different options to make sure she ate. When we came home, we honestly think our cat was disappointed it was us and not Melissa, lol. The house was in beautiful shape, and we never once felt nervous about being away from home. THANK YOU!!”
“Richard and Karen were great caretakers for our old cat. They showed up on time and shared photos of their visit to let us know he was doing alright while we were away. Definitely will work with them again!”

About: I have experience watching very different kinds of cats. No matter if your cat is outgoing or shy, I would love to give them the attention they need. I also have experience feeding and cleaning up litter boxes.
About: Large dogs are my specialty, I enjoy walking and playing with them. I have plenty of room to play in the back yard or go for a long walk on a nature trail. I have experience in kenneling, potty training and leash training dogs. I work full time but have every afternoon and weekend available. I would enjoy walking a pet after work and am available to do overnight care. I have a pet friendly and private apartment with a large private back yard. I am very close to the black river trail which is excellent for dog walking.

“Sonia did a wonderful job taking care of my dog. She is very patient, kind, and made sure my pup felt comfortable and happy. She also share photos during the day and walk our pup several times a day. I would definitely bring my dog back again and highly recommend their daycare!”

“Brenda is great! She sent me pictures throughout the day and took great care of Bernice. I booked Bernice for an overnight stay in a week, and today was a test run to get Bernice acquainted with Brenda.”

About: What sets me apart is the care and attention I give to each dog like they’re part of my own family. I’ve been around dogs my whole life, and I truly see them as little babies who deserve the world. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine—I have two dogs of my own, so my day already revolves around walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of love. In my home, your dog will be treated like one of the family. I provide a calm, clean, and cozy space where they can relax and feel safe. Whether they love playtime, snuggles, or just a quiet spot to nap, I adjust to their needs and routine. I stick to their usual feeding and potty schedule, offer daily walks, and make sure they get plenty of love and attention throughout the day.
About: I have extensive experience caring for animals because I truly love them. In my home country, the Dominican Republic, I cared for three Yorkshire dogs, a cat, four cockatoos, and a horse. I have also rescued abandoned animals, supported their recovery, and placed them in responsible adoptive homes. I am patient, reliable, and very attentive to each pet's individual needs. Pet care is my full-time job, so it is my main daily focus. I provide in-home care and am available throughout the day to offer constant attention, supervision, walks, timely feedings, playtime, and companionship. I carefully follow each pet's routine and individual needs to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and at home. When caring for pets in my home, I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. My home is a calm, clean, and pet-safe environment. I make sure to remove any potential hazards and keep doors and areas secure at all times. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions, including feeding, walks, medication, and specific routines. I provide constant supervision, loving attention, and a comfortable space where pets feel relaxed and at home.

“Chloe is the best! She took care of my 10 month old puppy, Hazel, while I was at work for the day & Hazel had the best time! She loved running around with Chloe’s two sweet puppies who are so friendly and playful! Chloe sent me several updates, pictures and videos throughout the day. I could tell she made a special effort to help Hazel feel comfortable in her new environment for the day. Highly recommended, will be calling Chloe again for doggy daycare soon!”

About: I’ve taken care of my childhood dog from puppy to senior. I enjoyed training and grooming my puppy and making my senior dog a power bowl. I am a very active person - a hiker, marathoner, boxer, and cyclist, I can exhaust your furry babies however they want! And I particularly have a good sense of reading animal behavior, meaning if your dog needs a therapist, I am a very good listener;) I currently work flexible hours, so I have plenty of time to give your furry babies attention any time of the day. Boarding, walking and house sitting are all welcome weekdays or weekends. Boarding: I am in a 2bd condo with balcony without any pet in a quiet neighborhood. I am walking distance to a lot of trails (paved and non-paved) that your dog can take advantage of. Sitting: tell me your pet’s routine, I will be accountable!
About: I’ve been so lucky to have had multiple dogs to care for over the years, caring for them from the puppy stage through their senior years. I met my husband a few years ago because of the dogs I’d rescued as he is a veterinary doctor with over a decade of experience. Together, we have rehabilitated multiple dogs and found good homes for them. We are animal lovers and have our own fur baby, but there is always plenty of love to go around for these angels on earth. 🩷 I am home everyday and available to provide quality care for your fur babies. I have an 8-year old terrier who is very friendly and loves dog friends. I walk him everyday for at least 30 minutes in the park behind our house, and I would be happy to walk your dog with him. Walking is a great physical and mental workout for dogs! However, I understand that each dog has its own lifestyle and I am happy to cater to it in accordance with your instructions. My backyard is not fenced in, but my parents’ house is 4 minutes away and I use their big fenced-in yard to let my dog run freely and play fetch, as well as to play with his pup friends. If you authorize it, I could use the space for your pup too, otherwise, on-leash walks in the park are great!

About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life and know how to make animals feel comfortable and cared for. I offer dog walking and cat boarding from my home in Yorktown Heights. Guest cats stay in their own private room with fresh food, water, and a clean litter box. For dog walking I keep things low stress, consistent, and fun. I work from home regularly so I'm around often and take every pet's routine seriously. I treat every animal like my own. I work from home frequently which means pets in my care are never left alone for long stretches. For dog walking I'm flexible on timing and can work around your schedule for morning, afternoon, or evening walks. For cat boarding, guest cats get visits multiple times a day including morning feeding, a midday check-in, and an evening wind-down with fresh food, clean water, and a scooped litter box. Weekends I'm generally very available and weekdays I can accommodate most requests with a little advance notice. I genuinely enjoy spending time with and meeting new animals so this isn't a job to me, it's a passion. I have a dog and two cats of my own so I know firsthand what animals need to feel safe and comfortable. Guest cats are kept in their own private, dedicated room completely separate from my resident pets, giving them a quiet space to decompress and settle in at their own pace. For dog walking I keep things calm and consistent, always on leash, through the safe residential streets of Yorktown Heights or local parks where my dog frequents himself. I pay close attention to each animal's personality and adjust my approach accordingly. Whether a pet is social and energetic or shy and cautious, I make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. My home is peaceful, clean, and genuinely pet friendly.

“Travis and Roberta were critical in helping us get our dog settled the first week we had him! They were so kind and patient with him. He loved going over to their house when we couldn’t be home! Their dog was older than ours and was also patient and gentle with him, so it was great socialization for our pup! We will definitely be booking with them again in the future!”

Betty, Nancy, and Weeza have a fun and safe outdoor fenced in space, full run of our "Pooch-Proof" home. There are plenty of toys, bed, love, and treats ( as many as your pet parents allow) including fresh homemade jerky. For many years we shared our home with Lucy who was a diabetic rescue We educated ourselves on her special needs including insulin injections. We would love to have your Fur baby/babies over for a playdate or a sleepover. They will receive love and care just as if they were at their "Grammy's" house. I am available 24/7 for day stay or extended stay. I am fully retired and available to give you piece of mind when you are away from your furry friend. Our rescues are part of our family. Our home is "Pooch-Proof" inside and out. I have a relationship with the rescue agencies who have approve my home for doggie care.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. New clients get a free 2027 desk calendar that has photos of my clients and my dog as well (check my photos for a preview). I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.
“Michael was fastastic with my poodle. He took our last minuite and we were very happy. My dog slept all the way home so I could tell he was tired from being given attention and being played with all day. I would not hesitate to use Michael again.”

“Irene and family are awesome caregivers for our dog, Tater Tot, who is always extremely excited to be dropped off. Tater Tot is blind and has separation anxiety and they have been very accommodating in supporting her. I’m thankful to have them be able to take care of her.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Maple received from Nahomi! We needed to board our puppy for the full day, and Nahomi instantly made her feel so comfortable and happy that the goodbye was completely joyful. Nahomi was meticulous about her feeding, walks, and updating us throughout the day. We would happily use her again and would highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Candice was so communicative and made me feel at ease before she even arrived at the house. This was my first time using Rover and first time having someone walk Mocha without a previous introduction. It was so nice to know that Mocha was in good hands and Candice went above and beyond in making sure she got a good walk in and had time to pee/poop. I'm so appreciative of Candice and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Chris is a friendly and reliable dog walker! He is very communicative, and cares very much about Bonnie. He sent Rover cards and plenty of pictures of my big baby.”

About: Hi! I’m a huge dog lover, and I’ve been surrounded by dogs of all breeds my entire life and have years of experience walking and pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. I have experience with basic training, patience, and positive reinforcement as well as being comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and energy levels, and I always prioritize their safety, happiness, and well-being. I am a very active person, so I’m not deterred if a dog has hyperactive needs! I work 3–4 weekdays per week, typically about 7 hours a day. My schedule often allows flexibility before or after shifts for morning or afternoon walks and check-ins. I do not work nights or weekends, and I’m also available for longer hikes or excursions on those days. I prioritize keeping a consistent routine making sure the transition is as smooth as possible; this includes ensuring feeding schedules, walk times and other specific care needs are met. I love enrichment through walks, play, and companionship so that your pet feels comfortable while their owner is away.

“I totally lucked out finding Griffin through Rover. He was friendly, communicative, and quickly got to know my dog, Poppy's, personality and needs. I felt very secure having him take her out for walks while I was working. He was safety minded; thinking about the right place to walk with her, using a harness, and being mindful of ticks. I think Poppy loved her time with him and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.”

“This was our first time using Rover in several years and since moving back to NYC from another state. We engaged Doris to stop by our apartment to walk our two large dogs in the middle of a weekday when we both had to be out of town and it sounds like everything went great. One of our dogs, Molly, can be very shy and skittish, so we left Doris detailed instructions about how to deal with her. Doris gave us specific feedback about how Molly did with her (quite well, as it turned out), which made us feel more comfortable about the next time we will need to employ someone to help with the dogs.”

“Juliet was treated very well and was happy and energetic when we picked her up. Barbara is very responsive to our emerging needs for pet sitting and gave many updates while Juliet was at her home. Highly recommend Barbara for you pets vacations.”

“Arsenii takes great care of Bubba like always! We can rest assured that Bubba would have a great time when we are in vacation if he’s with Arsenii. He’s simply Bubba’s favorite :)”

“Jessica and her family were the perfect hosts for our dog. We felt comfortable that our pup was with a nice family who treated her as one of their own. We received regular updates and communication was excellent.”

“Natacha was a God-sent. She watched out 7 month old Husky, Samon for 3 days. Natacha had a gorgeous Husky herself. She sent up pic and updates daily. We felt confident that Samson would be safe in Natacha's care, and he was. We will be using her again in the future to care for Samson. Could not have asked for a better sitter!”

“Katherine took excellent care of our 8 yr old lab mix. She sent multiple texts & photos. Our dog can be a little nervous but was so at ease with Katherine. I highly recommend her!”

About: I grew up in a dog‑loving home and had the privilege of caring for several breeds over the years — first a Boxer, then a Siberian Husky, later a German Shepherd/Malamute mix, and eventually a Pomeranian. Being around such different personalities taught me how to understand dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Because of that experience, family, neighbors, and friends have always trusted me to check in on their pets, feed them, play with them, and make sure they feel safe and cared for. No one will be assisting me with care. I also accept rabbits and small pets for boarding. Owners must provide cage, food, and supplies. Because I work from home, I’m able to give your dog consistent attention and care all day long. Whether it’s playtime, potty breaks, or just keeping them company, I’m always close by. I also offer 24/7 boarding availability, ensuring your pet has a safe, supervised environment at all times. Your dog will have plenty of room to feel at home here. I live on an acre of land with a dog run and a peaceful neighborhood that’s ideal for daily walks. There’s even a small pond with geese right across the street, which many dogs find entertaining. Inside, the living room is designated as comfortable, pet‑friendly space where your dog can relax. I also provide a crate for dogs who prefer a cozy, enclosed sleeping area.
“Jadyn was so so great with my girls! this was a last-minute request and she helped us out. No problem and I got two very happy very tired puppies when I picked them up, could not recommend her more for any of your doggy daycare needs.”

“Sara was the perfect choice for Dory while we were visiting town. She was focused on ensuring she understood Dory’s needs before and during her stay. Dory came home happy and tired… and Sara provided us with great reports during her stay and at pickup. We highly recommend!”

“Irene took great care of my older dog for the long weekend. I got video and photo updates and she was very kind taking care of my dog that needs medication and more care.”
“Hi Julia, thank you so much for taking care of Chippie. I appreciate your updates and the love you’ve shown to her. Everything looks great, and Chippie seems so happy when she sees you. Looking forward to booking with you again!”

“Crystal is the best! I was a bit worried as this was the first time I’ve ever gotten a sitter or left Nico alone but she was amazing! Very friendly and kind, she communicated all throughout his stay with many photos and even accommodated for our late pickup. Definitely keeping her for next time hah! 🥰”
