He is blind but navigates and acts like he can see. I did have a third fur baby that crossed the rainbow bridge last year as he lost his fight with cancer. About: I’ve had a passion for dogs since I was young, and that love has only grown over the years. I recently spent a summer in Alaska working as a sled dog handler, caring for 35 Alaskan Huskies, which taught me so much about dedication, patience, and the unique personalities of dogs. About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a child! My love for animals has motivated me to enroll in vet tech school, starting this fall. I specialize in small mammals, such as rabbits and hamsters, and have owned my own. I have also cared for guinea pigs, parakeets, and aquariums. About: I was a hands on member in my own dogs professional training, and I have taken care of friends and family’s dogs of all ages and breeds so there’s really nothing I haven’t seen before. That being said, I am well-versed in the high demand and needs of puppies and can confidently say that I am trained to care for them and all the hurdles that they entail. Having rescued my fur baby as a puppy off of the streets, she’s had her fair share of difficulties. Everyday has been such a blessing to see how far she’s come, and continues to. I have such a firm belief that dogs are truly a man’s best friend, and their greatest companion and deserve all the time and love that they deserve. Just from getting in walks everyday, to intentionally setting time aside to play with them is so important. In my home, I pretty much hang out with my Blaze as much as I possibly can. Every hour that I’m home, my dog is right by my side. Even when leaving the house my Blaze is in the backseat of my car ready for a road trip. I think to be deserving of a dogs love means putting in the time to treat them with the care they require, whether that time goes to an extra long walk, or play time with the ball, or even making sure she’s getting all the nutrients she needs in her food. About: My petsitting career has always included cats. As such I have lots of experience working with a wide array of cats from kittens, ferals, extra friendly love bugs, and also special needs kitties. I've been the go to person for several diabetic cats and am trusted by my clients to keep their cats healthy and well. About: Large dogs are my specialty, I enjoy walking and playing with them. I have plenty of room to play in the back yard or go for a long walk on a nature trail. If your dog needs someone present most of the day and cannot comfortably be left for more than about two hours, I may still be able to accommodate them with extended-care house sitting at $185 per night. I require a meet-and-greet before accepting a new boarding or house-sitting client so we can make sure your dog and I are a great match. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work part-time at a dog daycare and also work from home as a self-employed bookkeeper and real estate agent. My schedule is flexible, and I can choose which days I work at the daycare, allowing me to plan around the dogs in my care. My husband also works from home, so boarding dogs are rarely left home alone. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. About: I like to pay attention to your pet’s cues to determine their wants and needs. I’ve primarily helped friends and family with their pets and the more I spend time with animals, the more I fall in love. I currently work remotely from home. Mornings and evenings are easy! Afternoons will require some maneuvering but I can be transparent about my availability based on your needs and the dates of service. Depending on the distance I can stop by 2 or 3 times a day. I’m only offering drop-in services and walks at this time. I would be respectful of your space and focus on what I’ve been hired to do. If you need me to refresh your pets belongings, brush them, or wipe them down, etc, I’d be happy to. About: I have been dog sitting for a couple years already, I love to dog watch and have 2 fur babies of my own! Both of my dogs are predominantly pit bull so I am super comfortable handling bigger dogs or even dogs with attitudes. Family friends trust me to care for their pets while they are gone and I will always care for other pets as if they are my own. I love animals and if theres any other animals other than cats or dogs feel free to reach out! I used to have ball python and also know how to care for reptiles. I am currently still looking for employment so my hours are super flexible! I occasionally will have appointments but besides that I will normally always be available. It all depends on your own preference, I can always drop in to either feed or walk your pets. If you really wanted I could also bathe your pets or I could just stay at your house while you’re gone. Im very comfortable handling dogs so if you need me to crate them at night or have any other special instructions like medication feel free to let me know!

If staying at my house, we are situated on a half acre lot with a small fenced in area. Our neighborhood is self-contained. I have 3 friendly dogs ranging from 7 months to 14 years old. If your dog prefers to be crated or to have a room of their own, I can accommodate that as well.
About: I’ve had a passion for dogs since I was young, and that love has only grown over the years. I recently spent a summer in Alaska working as a sled dog handler, caring for 35 Alaskan Huskies, which taught me so much about dedication, patience, and the unique personalities of dogs.
