About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a child! My love for animals has motivated me to enroll in vet tech school, starting this fall. I specialize in small mammals, such as rabbits and hamsters, and have owned my own. I have also cared for guinea pigs, parakeets, and aquariums. For dogs, I have experience working with both small and large breeds! I regularly look after my neighbor's dog, and love every opportunity I get to spend time with her. For cats, I have primarily done drop in visits, but have experience with administering medicine to shy cats by building trust over time. I currently do not own pets of my own, so I will be able to give your pet my full attention and care! I am currently spending my summer before starting vet tech school working part time, volunteering at local shelters, and shadowing at clinics. I work weekends, but can still do an early morning or evening visit if needed! Your pet's comfort and safety is my number one priority and I will care for them as if they are my own! Communication and trust is important to me, so I will update you regularly on their happiness and health.

About: I’ve had 6 dogs in my lifetime and of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I have never met a dog that I haven’t gotten along with and have been caring for mine and my friends dogs and cats when needed since I was 10. I trained each one of my dogs and take great care to respect them as the magnificent boys and girls they are. I really love animals of all kinds and meeting new ones is always the highlight of my day, and I look forward to meeting more! I’m currently applying to graduate school and studying for standardized testing, so my schedule can be as flexible as needed to accommodate for yours or your pets needs. I’m quite active with my dogs so I’m more than happy to deal with any energy levels in animals. That being said my care revolves around keeping your pets as happy as possible, and if you are ok with it I have a fully fenced in garden and three lovely dogs to keep them company!

Whether your dog enjoys a neighborhood walk, a wooded trail hike, a sniff walk, puzzle games, fetch, or simply relaxing with companionship, my goal is to make every visit enjoyable, enriching, and stress-free. I have over 14 years of hands-on experience with dogs, including supervising groups of up to 30 dogs in a professional dog daycare and caring for puppy groups under 4 months old. For more than five years, I also organized dog hikes throughout Westchester County, NY, and Fairfield County, CT, giving dogs a safe, structured, and fun way to exercise and explore. My experience is strongest with Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Doodles, Cavaliers, and other friendly companion breeds that thrive with individualized attention, exercise, enrichment, and companionship. While I welcome many different breeds, I always schedule a meet-and-greet first to make sure we're the right fit for each other. My own Golden Retriever, Kobi, was my best friend and adventure partner for over 12 years. Together we explored hiking trails, beaches, kayaking trips, road trips from Maine to Florida, and countless daily walks. He taught me that every dog is an individual with unique needs, and that is exactly how I care for every dog I meet. I believe many dogs are happier with personalized care than large-group environments. Over the years, I have learned to read canine body language, recognize stress signals, manage different personalities, and create a calm environment where dogs feel safe and comfortable. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, oral medications, and dogs that simply need extra patience and attention. My home has a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and is just a five-minute walk from beautiful wooded trails. I intentionally keep boarding and daycare small by accepting only one guest dog at a time, or two dogs from the same family, so every dog receives plenty of supervision, affection, exercise, and individual attention. I also have a playpen available for puppies and young dogs who benefit from structured rest time. My apartment is on the second floor, so dogs should be be comfortable using stairs. While living in England, I helped care for a Golden Retriever, and later in Spain, I cared for a Yorkshire Terrier. These experiences, together with years of owning dogs, leading dog hikes, and working professionally in dog daycare, have given me experience with many different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. My approach combines practical experience with a calm, patient mindset. I am certified in Reiki and Emotion Code energy work and believe dogs thrive when they feel safe, understood, and respected. While every visit focuses first on your dog's physical needs, I also pay close attention to their emotional well-being. I am self-employed as a bookkeeper and real estate agent, which allows me to work primarily from home and maintain a flexible schedule. While I occasionally leave the house for appointments, errands, or property showings, I am able to plan my schedule around the needs of the pets in my care. This flexibility allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, companionship, and close supervision for dogs staying in my home. I provide a safe, calm, and personalized environment with plenty of individual attention. My home has a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, and I live just a 5-minute walk from wooded trails for walks and adventures. Dogs have access to a comfortable sofa, toys, and puzzle games for enrichment and mental stimulation. I live in a second-floor apartment, so dogs should be comfortable using stairs. I only accept 1 dogs at a time or 2 from the same family to ensure each dog receives plenty of supervision, exercise, and companionship.

About: I was a hands on member in my own dogs professional training, and I have taken care of friends and family’s dogs of all ages and breeds so there’s really nothing I haven’t seen before. That being said, I am well-versed in the high demand and needs of puppies and can confidently say that I am trained to care for them and all the hurdles that they entail. Having rescued my fur baby as a puppy off of the streets, she’s had her fair share of difficulties. Everyday has been such a blessing to see how far she’s come, and continues to. I have such a firm belief that dogs are truly a man’s best friend, and their greatest companion and deserve all the time and love that they deserve. Just from getting in walks everyday, to intentionally setting time aside to play with them is so important. In my home, I pretty much hang out with my Blaze as much as I possibly can. Every hour that I’m home, my dog is right by my side. Even when leaving the house my Blaze is in the backseat of my car ready for a road trip. I think to be deserving of a dogs love means putting in the time to treat them with the care they require, whether that time goes to an extra long walk, or play time with the ball, or even making sure she’s getting all the nutrients she needs in her food. How I can for my dog is how I intend to care for any future clients dog, with care and time.

About: Hi! I'm Brittany. Nice to meet you! I have around 9+ combined years of experience petsitting and a lifetime of experience around animals. I have always loved animals and started dogwalking as a small side job in 2012 in highschool. I got my real start in 2018 working full-time for a small pet-sitting business, where I learned the ropes and built the skills I still use every day. Since about 2020 I have branched off independently and have continued to be a loved local petsitter for many clients in my area. Other than petsitting I work at a local pet store, if you know me please say hello! I value myself as trusted petsitter in my community, with many of my clients existing through referrals, past pet sitting connections, and from the pet store where I work. Several of my independent clients have also been kind enough to leave me Rover reviews during my initial arrival here. Most of my business actively continues through those channels, but I decided to keep Rover as a way to add a little extra outreach and connect with new families. I have experience caring for all kinds of pets including super seniors, puppies and kittens, and dogs and cats with a wide variety of medical conditions requiring administration of regular meds, treatments, or insulin. I am familar with pets with strict dietary requirements or regimens (dont worry its not too complicated!). I am comfortable handling strong pullers, leash aggressive/reactive dogs and have a gentle touch to be able to bond with fearful feral cats. I also have experience with aquatic pets, small animals like chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits and some experience with lizards and birds. I can also do water parameter testing on your aquariums if equipment is provided to me. Pets are truly my life! And I know your pets are Your life so I will always do everything to ensure your pets are loved, safe, and cared for while you are away and make sure we have lots of fun too! I work at a pet store 6 days a week from 10–6 with a midday break I use for visits. For pets needing 1 or 2 visits a day, they will happen before and/or after those hours. For overnight or 3x visit a day clients I will provide one of the visits during my lunch break. Since I work at a pet store, I can easily grab many forgotten or necessary items for your pet anytime. My schedule ensures I am usually only ever away for ~5 hours at a time. Pets I care for must be okay with some time by themselves, since my bookings are not considered 24/7 care (non -constant). If you need something more full-time, please feel free to message me and I may be able to work something out depending on the request. The schedule I keep generally works well for my clients and the majority of pet owners, but for special circumstances I can make adjustments for specific days if necessary Overnights typically include Dinner care through Breakfast care and a single return visit midday. I require all of my clients to provide up to date preferred vet information, emergency contact info and provide me prior authorization to seek emergency care for their pets. To this date I have never had to use that information for any emergencies, but I always ask for it. Other than that I will strictly follow rules requested of me, I never do any off leash without being explicitly instructed to, and will only ever provide pets snacks and food that are indicated to me to use for them. I will never take any unnecessary risks with your pet or with your home. I am always respectful with homes and try to leave them as close to how it was before or cleaner than when I arrived as possible. I will make sure plants are watered, mail is inside and check in regularly with images. I am also open to some video or voice calling with your pets if requested. I am unable to provide full home cleaning services, however, I will within reason wash requested items (such as bedding or towels), clean up after myself, and make sure pet areas and bowls are kept tidy.

About: Large dogs are my specialty, I enjoy walking and playing with them. I have plenty of room to play in the back yard or go for a long walk on a nature trail. I have experience in kenneling, potty training and leash training dogs. I work full time but have every afternoon and weekend available. I would enjoy walking a pet after work and am available to do overnight care. I have a pet friendly and private apartment with a large private back yard. I am very close to the black river trail which is excellent for dog walking.
