About: If you’re looking for someone to just drop a bowl of kibble and scroll on their phone, I’m probably not your person. But if you want someone who will treat your pet like a misunderstood genius or a retired diplomat, we’re going to get along great! I work for the MTA as a train operator in the city, but on my days off I love taking my corgi Zuko on long walks and playing in our yard. I've had dogs and cats since I was young, and have a special affinity for all animals. If you want your fur baby treated like the king or queen they know they are while you're away, look no further! I am currently off Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays so I will have the full 24 hours of those days to walk, play, entertain, and care for your pets. I have a large unfenced yard on a very quiet street off the main road. I also have a extremely friendly and energetic corgi named Zuko who will assuredly be your pets new best friend. There will be tons of playing, running, fetch and more to ensure your pet has the best experience staying at their home away from home.

I’m attentive, responsible, and genuinely invested in making sure your dog feels safe, loved, and comfortable at all times. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I treat every dog I care for as if they were my own. I truly can’t wait to meet your pup and spend time giving them the care, attention, and affection they deserve. I’m self-employed with the ability to work remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule. This allows me to plan my days around your pet’s needs. My husband and I are both big animal lovers. We don’t currently have pets of our own, which is one of the reasons I’m so happy to be on Rover! I have lot of time, attention, and love to give to yours. Your pet will never feel like an afterthought, they’ll be a welcomed part of our daily routine while you’re away. I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs, routine, and personality. About: With over 15 years of experience in the pet care industry, caring for animals isn’t just my job—it’s my passion. I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors, and I also have experience caring for cats, reptiles, rodents, and other exotic pets. As a lifelong animal lover and pet owner myself, I understand that every pet is a member of the family. I currently care for multiple animals of my own, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to provide loving, dependable care while you’re away. In addition to my professional experience, I volunteer at a local animal shelter and have experience with dog training, allowing me to confidently work with dogs that have different temperaments and training needs. Whether your pet needs a fun walk, playtime, cuddles, medication, or extra patience, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m also bilingual, making it easy to communicate with a wider range of pet parents. My goal is to provide personalized, reliable care that gives you peace of mind and keeps your furry, feathered, or scaly family members happy and healthy. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! I work remotely, which means I’m home throughout the day and can provide plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship for your pet. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate potty breaks, playtime, feedings, medication schedules, and plenty of one-on-one care. I’m available on weekdays, weekends, and most holidays. I also have reliable transportation and can provide pick-up and drop-off services for your convenience. For active pups, I also offer adventure hikes and structured pack walks (with compatible dogs) if that’s something you’re interested in. Whether your pet prefers an active outing or a relaxing day at home, I’m happy to tailor their care to their individual needs and routine. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and explore under supervision. My home is a spacious two-story house with a finished basement, which allows me to comfortably separate pets if needed for feeding, decompression, introductions, or if a dog simply prefers their own space. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I take the time to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or has special needs, I’ll provide patient, individualized care to help them feel safe and at home. I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment and never leave pets unattended in the yard. Fresh water is always available, and I closely monitor all playtime and interactions. For multi-pet households, I prioritize slow introductions and only allow dogs to interact if they are comfortable and compatible. (If allowed) I’m experienced working with dogs of all sizes, as well as cats and other small animals, and I’m comfortable administering medications if needed. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in caring, capable hands.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .

You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
