About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and understand the care each one (puppy-senior) requires. Many friends, family, and coworkers have trusted me to care for their fur babies - walks, feedings, drop-ins, etc. They have all become family to me! 🧡 That being said, I’d love to be apart of your pet’s daily care! I am currently available after 5pm Monday-Thursday, after 3:30pm on Friday and between 8:30am- late evening on Saturday and Sunday. I am very flexible overall! I have experience teaching basic dog training commands - sit, lay down, roll over, paw, etc. I can walk (3) dogs at a time. Long walks and play are essential for their well-being and health. About: If your dog loves people, attention, walks, adventures, and being part of the family, they will probably feel right at home with me! I provide very personalized care and only board one guest dog at a time, or two dogs from the same family. There are no children or other pets in my home, so your dog gets plenty of individual attention in a calm home environment. Your dog isn't just staying at my house, they become part of my everyday life while they're with me. At home, dogs are welcome to make themselves comfortable. They can sleep in my bed, curl up on the couch, or choose a therapeutic dog bed if they prefer their own quiet space. For food motivated dogs, I have five different dog puzzles and enjoy playing "find the treats" and other enrichment games. We also have a fenced yard for supervised play and relaxing outside. Most days include 3–4 walks, ranging from a quick 10-minute potty walk to a 30–45 minute adventure. Depending on what your dog enjoys, we may explore Peekskill's riverfront parks, walk around the neighborhood, or head to nearby wooded trails. For dogs who love water, swimming adventures may also be an option. Because I like having my guest dogs with me, they are rarely left home alone. Dogs staying with me should be comfortable riding in the car and enjoy being around people. They may join me for a visit to the horse farm where I board my horse or relax with me while I visit friends.
