About: I’ve had 6 dogs in my lifetime and of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I have never met a dog that I haven’t gotten along with and have been caring for mine and my friends dogs and cats when needed since I was 10. I trained each one of my dogs and take great care to respect them as the magnificent boys and girls they are. I really love animals of all kinds and meeting new ones is always the highlight of my day, and I look forward to meeting more! I’m currently applying to graduate school and studying for standardized testing, so my schedule can be as flexible as needed to accommodate for yours or your pets needs. I’m quite active with my dogs so I’m more than happy to deal with any energy levels in animals. That being said my care revolves around keeping your pets as happy as possible, and if you are ok with it I have a fully fenced in garden and three lovely dogs to keep them company!
“Emily is an amazing caregiver and a pleasure to work with. She’s completely trustworthy and even was kind enough to bring in so many packages that had been delivered when we were away. Thank you Emily!”

“Candice was great! She took amazing care of Apollo and really helped while we were in a pinch for a dog walker. She is quick to respond which is a great plus!! Thank you Candice, I would 100% recommend!”

“I have booked Camila several times. She is great—always on time, super reliable, and really sweet with our yorkie! Camila makes everything easy and stress‑free. Highly recommend!”

“Corinne was absolutely amazing with our dog, Navi! She went above and beyond by meeting with us prior to the booking just to ensure Navi felt comfortable and safe with her. During the visit, she didn't just stick to the basics; she provided a perfect balance of playtime and exercise, letting our puppy burn off plenty of energy. It’s clear Corinne truly cares about the pets she watches. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend her!”

About: I have nearly four years of experience in a veterinary hospital as a kennel technician, where I care for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, breeds, and medical needs. I am comfortable administering oral and topical medications, monitoring for signs of illness or stress, and handling a wide range of temperaments. Outside of work, I have grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have an 8 year old golden retriever of my own. I have cared for many age ranges from senior to a weeks old. I have also had other pets, including a rabbit, so I understand that every animal has unique needs and personalities. My clinical experience, combined with my lifelong love of animals, allows me to provide attentive and reliable care. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs extra patience, I will treat them as if they were my own while you’re away. I am a full time student during the school year but on breaks I work around 3/4 days a week so I have plenty of time and flexibility to take care of your furry friends whenever you need me to! About: I’m capable of taking care of chameleons, fish, rats and ferrets, as I’ve had all. Rats were my favorite and I plan to get more in the future, ferrets are runner up. My working hours are 10:30-7, so I’m available for a walk at 8 or 9 am and 8 pm. Mondays are more flexible. Not every day is exactly the same though so ask me about a time and I may have a pocket of time! I’m a licensed nail tech and I’ve opened my own business (Studio Rose 24) so I have fairly good flexibility. I send pictures to all my clients, not always because of trust, but because we all think about and miss our babies when we’re out of town.
“It was such a relief to be able to go on vacation and know our cats weren't just being fed, but truly taken care of. Stacy was very communicative and we could tell she made good friends with our cats - they still ask when shes coming back. She came over in advance to get a lay of the land and meet them and learn all their hiding spots. She even took the litter when she left so we wouldn't have to deal with it. Stacy really was wonderful and knowing our cats were being loved by someone with such great experience while we were away was such a gift!”
“I reached out just a few days before we needed a drop in and not only did she quickly respond that she was available, she came the same day to meet the boys so that we would be comfortable. She communicated ahead of the visit to check in, sent awesome pictures with the dogs and took care of everything exactly how I specified. Our dogs have to stay separated right now and I was very anxious about that being managed in our tiny home but I did not need to be! We will definitely be hiring her again. Only downside is that she doesn’t do overnights!”

“Adrian dropped in for visits with our cat, Rusty, for one week. Rusty is a very fearful cat but seemed to feel comfortable to come for his meals with Adrian there. We loved receiving all the photos of our little guy and notes about how the visits had gone. Thanks for a good experience.”

Mohegan Lake pet parents share their Rover experiences
Gloria did such a wonderful job looking after our boy Cheddar. She was very thoughtful and attentive and went above and beyond her duty for doing drop in visits. We had about a foot of snow and she shoveled our driveway and walkway which was so thoughtful and we hadn’t expected her to do that since she was just doing drop in visits and no house sitting. We highly recommend Gloria as a pet sitter!

Candice was great with our senior dog and shy cat. She was always responsive and communicative, and sent great pics of our pets! I felt very comfortable that our pets were being looked after and cared for, and I would definitely each out to Candice in the future. I feel lucky to have found her!

Being my first time using Rover, I was pleased to find the sitter locator map to help me connect with someone close to me. Daniella was perfect! She tended to our cats while we were gone for a week and was prompt, professional and courteous, sending us photos and status reports with each visit she made. We returned home to find the cats happy and well cared for.

I am concerned a stellar review will reduce the availability of Kiera, but I'm leaving it any way! Keira was the perfect solution for our family, first time to leave target with a sitter. She was very attentive, left us thorough notes detailing his greeting and how they interacted. Pictures don't lie and I would definitely hire her again.

I cannot recommend Victoria enough! She was so wonderful with my cat. My cat is usually very shy around people she doesn't know so I was shocked to see pictures that Victoria sent me of her petting my cat or sitting with her! She clearly has the magic touch. She also dealt with her own emergency one day and still found a way to do a check in. I am so appreciative and will definitely use Victoria again!
