You can tell how much Natasha and Hamir really care about dogs and they took such good care of our 6-month poodle puppy Jujuba during our 10-day trip. We were very worried as it was our first time away from our puppy but they did an amazing job treating him as if he was theirs and putting all our worries at ease. Natasha sent us updates everyday with pictures and prioritized Jujuba’s safety. The dog area is separated from the kitchen by gates, so you don’t need to worry about puppy swallowing something that’s not good for them. Natasha and Hamir not only took him on regular walks, but also kept him away from heat when it was too hot outside. Our puppy gets some eye allergy and Natasha cleaned his eyes as I asked. We could see how comfortable and happy Jujuba got with them when we picked him up. We will definitely use them again in future! 🥰🥰

Pico had a great stay with Hayden! Communication was so easy, Hayden sent tons of photos, and was very flexible with our pick-up times. Pico was allowed to make himself right at home and we were happy to see him so relaxed and comfortable. We will definitely book with Hayden in the future!

Boarded my dog for one week, she was happy and well cared for. There were several other small dogs there as well- they all seemed to socialize and get along.

Natacha was a God-sent. She watched out 7 month old Husky, Samon for 3 days. Natacha had a gorgeous Husky herself. She sent up pic and updates daily. We felt confident that Samson would be safe in Natacha's care, and he was. We will be using her again in the future to care for Samson. Could not have asked for a better sitter!

Freddy had another wonderful stay with our most trusted sitter. He was excited to arrive at Arianne's house and seemed to settle in immediately with the family. Arianne kept me up to date with photos and videos throughout the stay. I cannot overstate how much gratitude we have for Arianne and her family providing Freddy with a loving home while we were traveling.

My husband and i are so happy that we found Andrea, she loved and cared for Bronson like her own, her home was so warm, free and welcoming to our dog. It was Bronson’s first time staying with a sitter and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Andrea took him to the park and walked him daily, she also updated me on a consistent basis providing peace for me while on vacation. Her son and bronson were very good buddies, I would definitely recommend her home for your pet.

About: If your dog loves people, attention, walks, adventures, and being part of the family, they will probably feel right at home with me! I provide very personalized care and only board one guest dog at a time, or two dogs from the same family. There are no children or other pets in my home, so your dog gets plenty of individual attention in a calm home environment. Your dog isn't just staying at my house, they become part of my everyday life while they're with me. At home, dogs are welcome to make themselves comfortable. They can sleep in my bed, curl up on the couch, or choose a therapeutic dog bed if they prefer their own quiet space. For food motivated dogs, I have five different dog puzzles and enjoy playing "find the treats" and other enrichment games. We also have a fenced yard for supervised play and relaxing outside. Most days include 3–4 walks, ranging from a quick 10-minute potty walk to a 30–45 minute adventure. Depending on what your dog enjoys, we may explore Peekskill's riverfront parks, walk around the neighborhood, or head to nearby wooded trails. For dogs who love water, swimming adventures may also be an option. Because I like having my guest dogs with me, they are rarely left home alone. Dogs staying with me should be comfortable riding in the car and enjoy being around people. They may join me for a visit to the horse farm where I board my horse or relax with me while I visit friends. Dogs who are happiest staying with me tend to be friendly, well-mannered, and enjoy attention, car rides, walks, and being included in everyday activities. Since my husband works from home, a dog with minimal barking is the best fit for our home. My apartment is on the second floor, so dogs must be comfortable using stairs independently or be small enough for me to safely carry if needed. A Little About Me I have over 14 years of hands-on experience with dogs. I have professional experience working in a commercial dog daycare, supervising groups of up to 30 small and medium-sized dogs as well as puppy groups. For more than five years, I also organized dog hikes throughout Westchester County, NY, and Fairfield County, CT. My experience is strongest with Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Doodles, Cavaliers, and similar friendly companion breeds. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, oral medications, and recognizing canine body language and signs of stress. My own Golden Retriever, Kobi, was my best friend and adventure partner for over 12 years. We hiked, kayaked, visited beaches, traveled from Maine to Florida, and shared countless everyday adventures. The way I cared for Kobi is the inspiration behind the care I provide now—I want dogs staying with me to feel included, comfortable, and loved. I am also certified in Reiki and Emotion Code energy work and bring a calm, patient approach to the dogs in my care. Prefer Care in Your Own Home? Some dogs are happiest staying in their familiar environment, and I also offer overnight house sitting. With standard house sitting, your dog should be comfortable being alone for approximately 6½ hours while I work my part-time morning shift at a dog daycare in Putnam Valley (8:00 AM–1:30 PM, 4 days a week, plus travel time). If your dog needs someone present most of the day and cannot comfortably be left for more than about two hours, I may still be able to accommodate them with extended-care house sitting at $185 per night. I require a meet-and-greet before accepting a new boarding or house-sitting client so we can make sure your dog and I are a great match. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work part-time at a dog daycare and also work from home as a self-employed bookkeeper and real estate agent. My schedule is flexible, and I can choose which days I work at the daycare, allowing me to plan around the dogs in my care. My husband also works from home, so boarding dogs are rarely left home alone. This flexibility allows me to provide plenty of companionship, frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and individual attention throughout their stay. I provide a safe, calm, and personalized environment with plenty of individual attention. My home has a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, and I live just a 5-minute walk from wooded trails for walks and adventures. Dogs have access to a comfortable sofa, toys, and puzzle games for enrichment and mental stimulation. I live in a second-floor apartment, so dogs should be comfortable using stairs.

Kevin was super kind and easy to work with! Communication was great from the beginning as he was prompt with accepting my request. I received pictures during the stay which I appreciated and helped keep my mind at ease. He asked plenty of questions to make sure everything went smoothly. My baby was her jolly self when I picked her up which lets me know she was well taken care of. He clearly has a true love for animals. I would absolutely use Kevin services in the future and recommend you give him a try 10/10.

She did great with both of them and provided plenty of updates. We hope Judy will watch our pups as long as she'll have us (:

I’m so grateful to have found Maureen to care for my sweet Lola while I was away! Lola can be a bit shy and isn’t always great with other dogs, but Maureen knew exactly how to handle her with so much patience and love. She really took the time to understand Lola’s needs and quirks, from giving her the cuddles she loves to making sure she had her peaceful walks without any stress. I could tell how happy Lola was when I came back—she was relaxed, content, and clearly well taken care of. It’s not easy to find someone you can fully trust with your fur baby, but Maureen exceeded my expectations in every way. I can’t thank her enough for giving Lola the attention and care she deserves. It was like she was on her own little vacation! It’s clear Maureen genuinely cares and goes the extra mile to ensure pets are happy and well cared for. I’ll definitely be booking with her again! Thank you Maureen!!

There is a reason Annette has so many positive reviews! Harper has separate anxiety and can often be nervous and anxious while away from home. However from the moment we arrived Annette put us at ease. Harper roamed around sniffing while I stayed for a few minutes. We will definitely be coming back to Annette! Definitely recommend as a sitter, we haven’t found anyone who compares in the area.

I read the positive reviews when booking, and I’m glad I listened to everyone. Highlights- great communication, loved my dog as her own, gave me complete peace of mind while I traveled. We boarded our pup at Natasha’s and Hamir’s home for 2 and a half weeks as we took a family vacation. The genuine care and love they gave her was exceptional. They were in consistent communication with us, not missing a day to let us know how she was doing which was always followed with photos. This was the fist time that our dog was left without us for a longer time, and it was wonderful to see how Natasha and Hamir made her feel right at home. Natasha and Hamir are great and trusting people and they took excellent care of our pup.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
