Your dog is treated like family!
I've had my small breed dog for 9 years. She brings me so much joy! I love opportunities to care for other dogs the same way I care for her. My neighborhood is ideal for taking walks, and my dog is very friendly and easygoing with other dogs. I only take 1-2 dogs at a time in addition to my dog. I've been dog-sitting for one year and I already have so many joyful experiences under my belt.

Sonia was an excellent caretaker of our dog. We had a wedding in Philipstown and needed someone to pick up our dog after the ceremony. Sonia was so reliable, punctual, and took excellent care of our dog. She sent pictures and he had a great time. Highly recommend

I work from home, so I am completely flexible to care of the needs of your pet. My routine revolves around the needs of your dog!

Safety, trust & environment
We will be primarily on the first floor of my home, where dogs can relax and play as they like. They are welcome to wander upstairs if they choose to though. We are perfectly comfortable with having pets on furniture and beds. Their safety and comfort is number one! Please bring their food, feeding times and amount, any medications they may take, with instructions on how to administer them. You may also want to bring their bed and favorite toys. Also, please bring their leash, as we will be outdoors frequently for potty breaks and walks. I live with my spouse and teenaged daughter, whom also love dogs.
Pets
A typical day
Walks in my safe and pet-friendly neighborhood three times a day or as needed, toys and games, treats and feeding times, and snuggles! If you'd like, please bring your pet’s favorite toys but know that I always have a stash on hand. I don't leave dogs that I am sitting home alone, aside from that rare errand or emergency. We have cameras throughout the house so we can monitor your dog at all times. We also play soothing nature sounds and calming music for your dog when it is nap and/or relaxation time. I take only small and medium-sized dogs, and I take only 1-2 dogs at a time.
