“I'm a first time Rover user so I was new to the process and a little apprehensive, but I had nothing to be concerned about- Autumn was amazing! We had a meet and greet with her before our trip and she immediately made us comfortable about leaving the care of our kitties to her. It's clear she loves animals and our two 9 year old kitties loved her visits while we were out of town. She took great care of them and was extremely communicative with us the entire time. I will definitely request her services again in the future!!”

“Lizz R was absolutely wonderful with my fourteen and a half year old Cocker Cocker Spaniel Abbey. She came over twice a day to potty her and feed and water her. She is very reliable and organized. I paid for a meet up so she could meet Abbey ahead of time. Lizz was very comfortable around dogs. Abbey took to her right away. I highly recommend Lizz as a pet sitter.”

“Camille took good care of my two cats and kept up excellent communication even working thru a small snafu with the system. Very professional care - thanks Camille!”

“Paulina is fantastic!!! She watched our chickens who are high maintenance gals and she took amazing care of them! She was also able to help water our garden which is so much appreciated. She also cared with our cat Frida who very much enjoyed her company! Thanks Paulina!”

“I met Azure and she is wonderful. I felt so much better being away from my cat with her watching him. She communicated well and gave great updates. She is my first choice for a pet sitter, I’ll definitely be using her services again.”

“Natalie is the best dog walker my pup and I have had on a consistent weekly basis on rover. I work long hours out of town and she has always been able to keep my dog happy on short notice (bad habit on my part). Definitely recommend her.”

“It’s been great having Maddy come by to give my two girls a pee-break, treats and some attention in the middle of my workday. She send great pictures and rundowns of her visit. I will definitely be booking her again :)”

“Katherine was great! She went above and beyond keeping my kitties comfortable while I was away. Very punctual, detail-oriented, and the level of communication was excellent.”

“Anna was terrific. I had just moved to a new town, where I didn't know anybody, a few days before when I had to leave suddenly for a family emergency. I needed to be gone for at least a week. My cats hadn't even had time to adjust after the move. Anna accepted a last minute request, and remained flexible as plans changed in the unsettled situation I faced. Her updates were thorough, and a break from the stressful situation I faced. My cats grew to love her, and I returned to three very happy and well adjusted cats.”

About: I have experience in vet med, so I will be able to keep a detail-oriented eye on your pet's health and wellbeing. If it comes to it, I can take your beloved companion to the vet clinic while you're out of town and see to any at-home care they need, no problem. I currently make my income entirely through app-based freelance work, making it easy to interweave schedules. I can check in on your pet, go out and work for 2-3 hours, then come back again. ADHD tendencies serve me well in this situation-- I can focus on a show, a book, or working on my laptop, while still being peripherally aware of what your pet is doing, and taking time to check in and give lots of scritches and belly-rubs. I live in a shared housing situation, so I have plenty of experience leaving an environment that is not my own exactly as I found it.

“Aiden was great with my cat! He was communicative and sent detailed report cards with several photos for each visit. He was patient with my cat getting over her shyness and she seemed to really warm up to him.”

About: I began volunteering at my city's animal shelter at the age of thirteen, dog walking, and I quickly began taking on more responsibilities at the shelter from there. By the time I was fifteen, I was volunteering in vet services, helping with adoption events, and doing critter care, where I socialized and took care of small animals like rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, and mice. During my time as a volunteer, I began a veterinary assisting program. I spent five days a week providing care to dogs, cats, horses, and rodents while learning proper medical procedures. Within that care, I attentively followed tailored feeding and kenneling instructions meant to keep the animals safe and healthy. Through my time at my tech school, I gained my OSHA 10 healthcare-focused certification, my HIV, Bloodborne Pathogen certification, and I graduated with my veterinary assisting certification. After graduating, I began working at my city's animal shelter as a Student Day Laborer and Veterinary Assistant, as well as pet sitting for people living in and around my city. At the animal shelter, I handled dogs with various behavioral challenges, including nipping, jumping, barking, pulling, lunging, and multiple kinds of reactivity. I maintained a clean and tidy environment by cleaning up many kinds of bodily fluids and parasites to ensure the comfort and health of the animals. During my time there, I fostered several dogs from the euthanasia list to provide them with proper enrichment and training to make them less frustrated and more adoptable. I have experience providing medical care and enrichment to puppies as young as three weeks old and senior dogs. I am a college student, but I am currently on summer break, so I am available every day except for Thursdays and Fridays. I am very flexible with my schedule when it comes to work and am willing to work with people on timing. I am capable of providing medical care and following specific feeding instructions that have been provided to me by the owner. I provide appropriate enrichment and exercise for different age ranges and breeds.

“We had a great experience with Jess dropping in to check on our kitten while we were away. They gave detailed updates and went above and beyond to make sure our cat was doing well and not feeling lonely. We really appreciate their service and highly recommend them!”

“We’re so lucky to have found Milena in our neighborhood! She came in and got our dog out of the crate and play for a while when we are skiing. We also had a meet and greet because she’ll be house sitting for us, and it is clear that our dog adores her and vice versa. Highly recommend 🫶”

About: As someone who has lived with dogs throughout my entire life, I understand what it takes to be a caring, responsible and loving pet owner. I believe that all dog owners should be capable of being patient, playful and responsible to ensure the best possible care for their furry friend. Other than taking care of my own dogs, from puppies to seniors, I have experience with working for other family members and neighbors. This experience ranges from hourly visits, walks, and overnights. I am always excited to learn from new clients and their furry friends about the wonderful world of pet sitting! I am currently in between jobs, so I have plenty of time to look after your pets! Whether you need care in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings, I will be available. This accounts for weekdays and weekends. When working in a client's home, I always try to be respectful of their established practices/rules for their pets. Responsible entry and exit from homes and similar tasks is important as well. Being on time is something that I find to be extremely necessary for pet sitting, whether it be for potty breaks, walks, or feeding visits. I want to make sure each new pet is comfortable with me, so being affectionate and playful is something that I have always valued as a pet sitter and owner.
