About: I used to walk my cousin's dogs for years and I took care of my Godmother's dog when she was on vacation and I also took care of my cousins dog when he was at work. I regularly groom the dogs of friends and friends of friends. I am a trained dog groomer. I graduated from the American Academy of Pet Groomers. I also have a certificate in Pet CPR. I am available Sunday through Saturday, seven days a week. I am available during the day and evenings. I am really eager to get started. I will adhere to the pet’s specific dietary needs and schedules. I will provide regular walks, playtime, and mental stimulation. I can provide regular brushing, bathing, and checking for mats or pests. I will observe for any signs of illness or distress and ensure medications are administered on time. I will keep hazardous items out of reach and ensure a secure space for the pet. I will offer companionship and attention to prevent loneliness.

About: I used to take care of my mom’s dog while I lived with her, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines and giving pets the attention they need. Every morning, I’d take him to the park for playtime and a 30-minute walk, and I always made sure he was fed on time. He was scared of the groomer, so I learned how to brush and bathe him at home to keep him clean and comfortable. That experience taught me how to be patient and gentle, especially with pets that are a little nervous. I treat every pet like they’re my own and really try to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m doing Rover full time right now, so pet care is a big part of my everyday life. My schedule is built around the pets I’m caring for—whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or boarding. I plan my day to make sure they get enough attention, playtime, and consistency. Since this is my main focus, I have the flexibility to give each pet the time and care they need. When I do dog walks or drop-in visits, safety and trust are my top priorities. I always make sure pets are secure on their leash and check that harnesses or collars fit properly before we head out. I stick to safe walking routes and keep a close eye on their behavior and surroundings. During drop-in visits, I follow the owner’s instructions carefully—whether it’s feeding, playtime, medication, or just keeping them company. I always make sure doors are locked, everything is cleaned up, and the pet is comfortable before I leave. I also send regular updates so pet parents know their pets are happy and in good hands.

About: I love dogs and have had them my whole life. My dog Peanut, who’s in my profile picture with me, is my pride and joy, and I plan on taking care of him when I have my own home. My parents are out of town for work quite often, so I have cared for him on my own for extended periods of time, and I love spending time with him. I helped crate train him when he was younger as well, on top of other skills. I would love to help take care of others’ pets, and get to know everyone’s amazing animals! I’m a full time college student, and go to school on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, so I will definitely have weekday availability to anyone in the city who needs pet care. I’ll be mostly available in the afternoon, but I also have my hours available on my profile. I have one small-medium size, very friendly dog at home, and a fenced in backyard in a quiet neighborhood. I would prefer to do visits in the clients home, because I do live with my family, however depending on the dog it may be possible.
