“Jessica was my lifesaver!!!! I injured my knee and was suddenly unable to walk my dog. She was available on short notice and responded quickly. I was in such a panic but she reassured me that she would take great care of my baby! She was flexible, patient, and kind. I had the worst day and I was being so spastic and crazy and she was sooo sweet to me. I am thankful to have found her . My dog absolutely loved her! She took notes about specific things concerning his care, and she followed all instructions given and had a successful walk with him! She took him to the park, his favorite place :) I am so thankful that Jessica has experience with large breeds and was able to handle my 70 lb dog. About: I’ve had a dog in my household ever since I was 5 years old and would love to meet and help you with your fur baby! I go to school at Paul Mitchell Cosmetology 3d days a week, and work at a restaurant 2 days a week and take care of my pup every night when I get home, I also own a bunny rabbit named e.b.! I love my pets like they are family and will treat yours like they’re my own. Your pets safety and the safety of your home is a top priority!

About: I've had experience taking care of dogs since I was the age of 10 years old. I have done this for family and friends for many years and even assist with grooming needs. I also have experience with giving medications to pets as I have worked as a veterinary assistant in the past. I am currently working at an elementary school but going to school to allow me to have a work from home job. Until then I am more free in the afternoon and evening but I am able to free up some time in the morning to help out. During the summer I do summer camp, working the afternoon/evening shift; however, I am able to adjust my schedule as needed. I have a fenced in yard here at my house so my dogs have free range of the back yard, however when we did not have one we had them out at least every hour. Our dogs get feed twice a day, morning and night, but I can switch however to fit your pet best! During my free time my boyfriend and I like to take our dog, Rico, to go hiking and swimming. We would love to be able to bring him a friend!

My family and I cant wait to meet you soon. I am always available. We are able to be home all the time with the family and have a flexible schedule. We would like to include your pet into the day while you are away. I have a fenced yard and a house perfect for pets. We are always here as a family to care for any needs. We include them as if they were our own, or our families pets. We haven’t had the time to commit to getting a new pet and we miss having one so much we would rather you leave them with us to love on then have them be alone.

“Shan was awesome with Bear & Rosie! Bear can be a bit shy and standoffish at first, but she was patient with him to gain his trust (which is very rare nowadays). She sent lots of pics, did the full time walk & even more. She relayed any questions or concerns promptly. Did great, would definitely book again”

About: I have grown up with animals and pets my whole life. Growing up by farm in Germany, I fostered a love and care for all animals and I am my happiest when I’m with them. While I have always owned cats myself, I also have experience with dog-sitting (including walking, playing (of course☺️), and minor allergy medications). I adore pups/cats and am excited to care for your little ones! I currently work 3 days a week in EMS (W-F) and am very flexible outside of these hours to love and care for your pets. Safety is of utmost importance!! When leaving the house, I will ensure all doors are locked. I will keep an eye out to make sure your dog doesn’t try to eat something they shouldn’t or bring things into your home. I will also keep an eye on other animals around your pet, especially when walking and leaving the home. I have two cats of my own - Flo & Mo. While one is apprehensive, the other is goofy (and very orange). Every pet is different and I will respect their needs and comfort zones while in their space.

About: I’ve volunteered at many animals shelters, worked on farms, and been a pet sitter for many family and friends. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats of all different sizes, absolutely love animals and don’t worry your babies will get lots of love!! I do school online so I have plenty of time to take your babies out or check on them as needed! I keep my calendar updated so if it’s open I’m available! I have a friendly dog that could keep your pup company during the day and a fenced in yard. I have no problem staying the night with your dog if needed!

“Sarah was awesome! Her knowledge from working in a shelter came in handy when one of my dogs was being difficult. She took great photos and left a wonderful description about their time together. Can’t wait to have Sarah come back to hang out with my boys.”

About: My wife and I have both grown up around dogs and absolutely love the warmth and loyalty that they provide. I had a Dachshund growing up, while my wife had a German Shepard, Mastiff, Yorkie, and a Vizsla. We currently have a rescue Jack Russel/Beagle mix who is absolutely full of love and energy every day! We both have experience with puppies and senior dogs. My wife has also had lots of experience with dog walking and sitting including caring for Golden Retrievers and Labs. I am originally from Roanoke, VA. After moving to Florida and working for the Walt Disney Company for 5 years, my wife and I moved back to Roanoke to be closer to family. We are fully available to help care for your fur baby! We have experience with crates and will happily crate any of your pets. We will always use our utmost respect, care, and love with your pets!

About: Hi, I’m Makenzie! I’m an ETSU graduate (May 2021), lifelong animal lover, and proud pet parent. My pets are my world, and I’d love the opportunity to give your furry (or feathered!) family members the same love and care I give my own. Growing up, I regularly dog sat, cat sat, and house sat—it’s always been something I truly enjoy. These days, I visit the local animal shelter several times a week to spend time with the cats and dogs there. Animals have always been a light in my life, and caring for them brings me so much joy. I offer dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting in the Roanoke/Bonsack area. I’m trustworthy, reliable, friendly, and hard-working, and I’m happy to provide references. I’ll always follow your care instructions, keep your pets safe and happy, and send you daily check-ins so you have peace of mind while you’re away. Availability: • Flexible schedule thanks to my work as a case manager • Mornings, afternoons, and evenings depending on the day • Always available on weekends Your pets will be treated like family, every single time. 💛 I start every day caring for my own pets, and I treat each animal I meet as if they were my own. I’m fortunate to have a flexible job, which allows me to fit pet care seamlessly into my mornings, afternoons, or evenings. I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs. I never leave an animal unattended outdoors and always make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and happy.

“Callie was awesome with my dog teddy. She cares about these dogs on a personal level. I will be getting callie to watch my dogs from now on. I can tell that she loves animals a lot. She was the best, 5 stars.”

Nicole S.
“For 9 days, Nicole took excellent care of our cat, Tigger, while we were on vacation. Nicole came over daily, gave him food and water, cleaned his litter box, and gave him attention. She did exactly what we asked her to do. Before our vacation, Nicole was nice enough to come over 3 or 4 times so that Tigger could start to get used to her (she didn't ask to be paid for this, but we paid her anyway.) Tigger doesn't like strangers, but Nicole was able to be his buddy while we were away. When we arrived home, we found Tigger to be happy and well taken care of. We hope that Nicole is available next year to watch Tigger for us when we take another vacation.”
