About: I'm an active volunteer with a local animal shelter, where I work hands-on with dogs of many ages, sizes, temperaments, I have experience caring for shy, anxious, high-energy, and sensitive dogs, and I'm comfortable with reading canine body language, building trust, and providing calm, reliable care tailored to each dog's needs. Pet care is part of my regular routine through weekend availability when I'm off work. I plan my schedule around providing attentive, consistent care, including walks, feeding, enrichment and companionship, so each dog receives focused, unhurried attention. I care for pets by following their established routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and preferred activities. About: I have several years of experience with both dogs and cats. The largest dog I've handled was 120 lbs. I'm down to cuddle or go on a walk, whatever your pet needs. I am a college student so I am flexible daily and can come by your house when needed. I am free on weekends and most weeknights. About: I take care of my neighbors dogs, my friends dogs, and dogs at my place of work, I technically have 6 dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I work at a doggy daycare part time, my hours typically range from 7-12:30 so any time after then I would be able to take care of your babies! I treat the dogs in my home with respect and gentleness that they deserve. I try to take them on walks regularly when i can.

I'm a mother to a 10 year old little boy, 1.5 year old French bulldog, 5 year old pug, 2 year old hound mix, 1 year old boxer, 3 kitty cats and a ball python. I have had chickens, ducks, and a couple of goats in the past and am comfortable with just about any critter. I am currently employed part time at a Veterinary clinic in Salem. I have also worked 5+ years at a boarding/grooming facility for dogs and cats. I am comfortable giving medications and bathing if needed. I get how dogs can feel about a stranger in their home, and same for their owners. I’ll follow whatever house rules you’ve got, and respect your dog’s personal space. I don’t offer overnight housesitting either - I prefer not to leave my dog overnight unless I can find a sitter for her.
