Doggy Day Care in Hardy

About: I have over a decade of animal welfare experience. I have been fostering dogs in my home since I was old enough to be approved. Over the past 10 years I have cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages(from litter puppies to hospice care seniors). I am a stay at home parent. My husband travels for work therefore, I am home the majority of the time to care for our family, pets and home. I am available for pet care any and all days of the week. We have a large fenced in back yard. A designated dog area(3 rooms) that leads to the back yard. I have 3 young(3, 2, and 1 1/2) medium sized, well behaved dogs of our own who love to play! My dogs have never been known to resources guard or be aggressive towards other animals. I've never had any issues with dogs I have fostered in the past. However, if an issue does surface, my dogs can be relocated to another area of my home.

“Penny and Evan were great with our little “high anxiety” fur baby. During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable. We are thrilled to have found Penny and Even and the bonus is that they live about 4 minutes from our house! We have already booked the next daycare appointment!”

“Our previous sitter told me they are moving, which prompted me to search for a new sitter. I decided to try Rebecca, and am I glad I did! I was happy with our first sitter, but LuLu spent her time there just sniffing their yard and snuggling up on the couch with the sitter. She barely ate and wouldn't play with their dog. It was such a delight to see how happy LuLu was at Rebecca's place. She ran around the yard like I haven't seen her do since she was a puppy. When Rebecca thought LuLu needed a rest and brought her inside, LuLu whined to go back out, so out she went for more running around! Finally, she took a nap on the couch, then got up and ate all of her dinner. Then she settled down chewing on her toy until we came back for her. She was happy to see us, but gave Rebecca a tail wag when they said goodbye. I'm so glad LuLu found a place where she can thrive when we're gone. Now I won't hesitate to book a vacation! Rebecca was very attentive to the history I gave her about LuLu and my instructions about her routine and fears. We did a Meet & Greet on short notice, and Rebecca showed LuLu and me her back yard and inside her house. She assured me that she would never give LuLu an opportunity to run away. The way Rebecca gave me updates all day long assured me that LuLu was being well cared for and was having a great time. Rebecca is definitely Lulu's new sitter. I couldn't be happier with her care.”

About: I love all animals. I have watched neighbors & friends/ family’s fur babies. I will take your fur baby on walks and to dog parks. I am available Monday threw Sunday at any time after 8am. If it’s a emergency, I will take your fur baby before 8am. I look forward to meeting your fur baby. All dogs will be on a leash when I take them out to use the bathroom. I do not have a fenced in backyard. I only crate animals if you request that and you provide your own crate. Other wise I allow all animals to roam the house freely.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10. I have watched over friends, family and neighbors pets, including a blind diabetic dog who requires insulin shots twice a day. I have had Pitbulls, Great Danes, Mastiffs, a three legged cat, and everything in between under my care. I will treat your pets like they are my own. My pets sleep with me and on every piece of furniture I own. I have cared for pets with complex feeding/diet regimens and physical limitations and exercise requirements. No pet is too difficult or needy in my book. I understand that each animal is special and requires a unique tailored approach. I can assure you that I will take care of your animals just as they are my own and will try to be there for them just as you are there for them. I have also worked with dogs and cats that have separation anxiety and other phobias and or conditions and always do what I can to make the experience as stress-free as possible for any animal in my care. I can provide references upon request to help ease your mind that your pets will be in great hands! Pet care is my sole responsibility and job. It takes priority over anything else. I currently have a blind diabetic dog that has to be fed at 7am and 3:30pm and has to have insulin shots at 7:15am and 3:45pm everyday. Other than that I am available all day, every day to care for any pets under my responsibility. I have a fenced in yard with a porch that is half covered. I have two living areas separated by a permanent gate if any animals in my care need to be separated from other animals. I have a lockable dog door that can be completely locked, on a timer, or set to be wide open depending on what level of freedom you want your pets to have for accessing the yard and porch. My couch and bed are pet friendly. I have a cat tree and a room dedicated for cats. I have multiple beds and pet bed with washable covers that can be used by any pet in my care. I can customize a walking schedule for your pet and can come to your house and watch/walk your dog where they are most comfortable, at home. I have a pet friendly car and as long as your dog is friendly towards other animals I have no problem taking your dog to a park or dog park if that is something you and your dog would be interested in. I am very comfortable giving insulin shots to dogs and giving medicine to most pets, cats that have a hard time accepting medications are open for discussion. If your animals have special needs I am happy to try to accommodate. Please don't hesitate to ask. I will send you pictures and updates on your pets the entire time they are in my care. My goal is to make you but more importantly your pet feel safe and loved while you are away.

About: I have many years of positive and successful pet sitting skills and experience. I have skills with multiple fur babies in one household, including size, breed and age of pet. I have skills in administering medications to pets, diapering and special needs. I am very responsible with each pet. I always text or message updates, including your pet's behavior, eating and sleeping pattern. I always strive to keep your pet in their routine as much as possible. About: I have taken care of dogs sense I can remember. Walking and grooming them. Playing with them and just cuddling them. I think of dogs as my all time favorite stress reliever and simply enjoy their company. My dog Newton accompanies me to work as well and makes a great therapy dog with his laid back attitude and lovable heart. I’m currently working part time but I am available on Sundays, Fridays, and half days on Mondays. Also walking in the evenings most any day after 5 pm.0 and near by lake for walks, also my little 20 lb dog who thinks everyone is his friend. He has a very gentle spirit and is more of a passive dog than a alpha leader.
