About: I’ve had multiple cats and dogs growing up! My animals are one of my top priorities. In the past I would stay in homes of families who were in need of a pet sitter. I did this for multiple years before I began to work at a pet store. During this time, I continued to board puppies for multiple weeks at a time. I have flexible availability throughout the weekday. About: Growing up with a variety of pets has really helped deepen my love for animals. I grew up a family of German shepherds, I’ve had snakes, ferrets, cats, even a hedgehog! All my friends and family have relied on me for watching over there furry friends. I am a newly post grad from Kent state and just recently moved to Cleveland. I work as a bartender and my shifts are usually at night up to 8 hours and I always make sure my apartment is set up to assure any pet I am watching is comfortable while I am gone. I also love to go on walks and would love to be accompanied by your pet! Most of my shifts are at night usually starting around 4 and ending around 12 so I always make sure to take any pet I am watching on a long walk before leaving and spending as much time with them in the mornings! I also always try to get off my shift as early as possible while I have a current pet over! I like to treat any pet as my own no matter the size, personality, or behavior. We had a wonderful experience with Elinor as our cat sitter! She was a great communicator from our initial request through her very last visit, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away on an extended trip. Our cats don't always come out for strangers, so we were especially happy to see that they warmed up to her enough to come out for treats and even play with her during some of her visits. She sent us cute photos and thoughtful updates each day, which we really appreciated and loved seeing while we were away. Our flight home was unexpectedly delayed, and she was incredibly flexible about adding an extra day with the girls. It was such a relief knowing they were in good hands. Torrey was the best! We have to keep our kitties separated and she was very understanding of that and made us feel comfortable while on vacation.
