I always like to get a detailed account of the owner's daily routine with the pet, as well as any medical or physical concerns I should be looking out for. If the client approves, I like to err on the side of reaching out if I have questions or concerns, rather than waiting until they get back. Additionally, having emergency veterinary information is a must, as I am willing to do what is necessary to keep your pet safe.

A typical day
I'm happy to play with your pets however they prefer! I enjoy playing fetch, running around the yard, going for walks in nearby parks or neighborhoods, or playing hide and go seek or chasing them/them chasing me if they enjoy it!

Pet care experience
Starting in July, I am available all day! I've always grown up with animals. I was born into a family with two older dogs, and grew up with 2 family dogs, Maggie & Henry, whom I loved and adored as family. When I moved to graduate school, I adopted two cats, Plum & May. I didn't grow up with cats, but during college up to now I spend time at local animal shelters volunteering and helping to socialize cats where I have time. Currently, I spend my free time trapping, spaying/neutering, and releasing feral cats in my neighborhood to give them better, safer lives. I work an 8-5pm job M-F currently in Cleveland.

Sam was quick to answer my Rover request, and very responsive to a few questions. She was extremely good with the cats. My skittish cat lazily opened one eye to see who was there then returned to sleeping. Strangers usually have her sprinting for under the bed. Highly recommended, would book again.
Sam went above and beyond for my kitties! Communicative, kind, and understanding. I do not have enough nice words to say about her. I would book her again in a heartbeat.
Sam is great! She’s reliable, gives thorough and quick updates, and gives us the best pictures of Luna!
Sam is such an amazing sitter!! I had her watch my cat for a second time. She is so good with my cat, and respects her boundaries while caring for her. She always sends multiple pictures and great updates when she does a drop in. She is also very responsive to messages and requests. If you’re looking for a sitter I definitely recommend reaching out to her!!
