About: I’ve done neighborhood dog care in high school for 2 years and in college occasionally take care of my friends cats while they are away. I’m a full time student at Cal but my classes are all during the morning so afternoons and evenings I am normally available to go for walks, feed, or play with pets. I have a fenced back yard and a pet friendly lease for my apartment. While boarding I would put fragile valuables away securely in my loft.

At 4 months old, Moose needs a LOT of play and attention (our training seems to go out the window when he's in a new place), but Kelly did an amazing job keeping him happy, loved, and up to speed with his commands. We started with a meet and greet, where Michelle listened to our expectations and asked questions of us, and we made a booking for a day visit. On drop off, she took our pup R on a quick walk to get her away from us (later, she told us that that's better than having a specific goodbye), and R trotted after her happily. We got some photos and reports during the day, and at pickup time, R was glad to see us, but also went back to Michelle for some petting before we left. We are planning to leave R with Michelle for boarding during our summer holiday.”

About: I have 3 lazy shih tzus who loves to be chauffeur in their stroller. We live in a house with fenced yard that has a nice lawn for relaxation or doggie tag. I have been caring for dogs since college (a long time ago!) from puppies to seniors. My doggies and I have travelled all of the country when I used to travel often for work, which trained me with care techniques as well as identifying behaviors and administering medications. I am 5 minutes walking distance from Berkeley Dog & Cat 24 Hours Hospital and can quickly get medical attention when necessary. The neighborhood has a handful of nice spaces for strolling, including parks, college campus, and quaint streets lined with shops. I have 2 teens who also love animals and occasionally help look after the dogs when I briefly step out for groceries or similar errands that are close by. The doggies all enjoy indoor and the fenced back yard. It is clean and secure. They also love sitting on the front porch with me and people watch. I do have a crate, but most of the time they are free to roam around the house. I never have more than 6 dogs, including my own, so that each one will get adequate attention.

I highly recommend Paula for your dog care needs. As a registered nurse and neurotic dog mom, I’m very particular about who I will leave my dogs with. Both my babies have allergies with special food for each, need sunscreen and have behavioral quirks as they are brothers from the same litter. Taylor is fantastic. I was in town for work with my wee guy and she took care of him during the times I couldn't have him with me. Rowlf and Taylor made a fast friends. They played and walked and cuddled, she took tons of pics and kept me up to date about their time together, and really supported me while I was working. I'm so grateful I found her. Taylor is super friendly, thorough, and loving. It can be so hard for all of us to trust the care of our babies to a stranger. You can't go wrong here!
Jeff and Beth were amazing. I couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience. This was my first experience with Rover and my new shelter pup Lulu. Lulu is a bit anxious and takes some time to warm up. I felt Jeff and Beth were so loving, caring and patient with her and she seemed to really settle in and enjoy herself with Jeff and Beth and the other pups. Their space inside and out is AMAZING…a dog’s delight. I plan to return soon!
Patrick was fantastic! I left my 5ish month-old puppy, Fish, in his care and he and his golden doodles made her feel right at home! I reached out to Patrick because he had a couple well-mannered dogs to help with her socialization, but Patrick was also incredibly attentive and gracious about asking what her needs were and accommodating her puppy behaviors. Fish was a little shy at first, but it didn't much to attach her to Patrick and make her fall in love with playing with his younger dog!
