“Gregory is awesome. His calming personality is exactly what Vader needs, and Vader really connects with him. Gregory is punctual and communicative. We will be booking in the future!”

“Thank you so much Jennifer! 5 stars! I am an anxious dog mom to a very anxious doodle, and it’s very hard for me to find people that I feel comfortable leaving my little fur baby with. But from the moment I started communicating with Jennifer through Rover, my anxieties were eased! Jennifer is kind, warm, and a very clear communicator! She was very gracious and non-judgmental too as I over explained and neurotically walked through Ruffles’ preferences and routines! I felt so at ease at work knowing she was taking care of my baby and didn’t even think twice! And her updates and pictures were always great and informative. It’s funny too how you just know when your dog likes someone, and I could tell he really felt comfortable with her! Can’t wait to book again for dog walking.”

“Esteban is awesome! He takes good care of Sunny, my terrier puppy. And sends me lots of detailed updates and wonderful photos. Sunny seems very relaxed and happy after walks/hangs with Esteban. Thank you so very much for all that you do!”

“Jaqueline has been walking our dog regularly for the last six months. Our dog is stubborn and doesn't warm up to people quickly but he loves his walks with Jaqueline! She's reliable, flexible, and easy to communicate with. You can tell she really loves animals and cares for our dog like her own, including accommodating special considerations due to his health issues. We highly recommend Jaqueline!”

“Agnes is great! The meet and greet went really well and she asked good questions to be as prepared as possible. She wrote detailed notes for the rover cards and took many photos during every walk. She took the time to play with my pup and engage with with. I highly recommend Agnes!”

About: Dog has always been a big part of my life. I have experiences in potty training, dog walking (small and big), and I love teaching them to do tricks! I'm currently free most of my weekdays as I'm still looking for full-time job. I would like to spend time with some furry friends in between my job search schedule. I would mostly do the same routine as the owner would do when they're home. I will feed them based on their schedule, teaching some tricks, and give them some nap time.

About: I have been a pet owner and caretaker of many different animals from small pets (hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits) to cats and dogs. My family kept fish when I was a small child, but I plunged headfirst into the world of freshwater fishkeeping in 2020 with my first personal betta fish named Prosciutto. Since then, I’ve cared for many different fish, aquatic snails, shrimp, crabs, and live aquatic plants! Currently, I have 4 fish tanks that provide flourishing ecosystems for all kinds of aquatic beings and a gray and white cat named Ash! I have sat for my neighbors, friends, and other folks that have found me through word of mouth. I would say that my loving personality, attention to detail, reliability, and diverse experience of taking care of all kinds of pets set me apart from other sitters. ***To be transparent, I can be anxious around reptiles, bugs, and arachnids. I do not have much experience taking care of them. :( I’m currently working very part-time and in the process of job searching. My schedule is very flexible. I am typically unavailable on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:00–7:00pm. I will be unable to board any pets as I have a roommate. Whether I’m stopping by for a quick potty break or staying overnight, I prioritize safety, trust, and gentle, attentive care in your pet’s familiar environment. I specialize in caring for calm, low- to moderate-energy pets—including seniors, anxious animals, and those who need medication or extra TLC. While I love dogs of all sizes, I may not be the best fit for very high-energy or large-breed dogs who need intensive physical activity. My strength lies in creating a calm, comforting environment where pets can feel secure, understood, and loved. I’ll always treat your home with respect and care, and I enjoy keeping pet parents in the loop with regular updates and sweet photos while you're away. Thank you for considering me!

About: Hi Paw-rents! Thanks so much for stopping by! I know how personal it is to choose someone to care for your beloved pet—and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My goal is simple: to make sure your furry family member feels safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away, and that you feel completely at ease knowing they’re in great hands. I bring a calm, grounded presence to pet care, shaped by my background in social work and trauma-informed support. I understand how to meet each pet exactly where they are—whether they’re shy, high-energy, older, or need a little extra patience. I move at their pace, tune into their cues, and make sure they feel secure every step of the way. In my free time you’ll find me outdoors hiking, exploring national parks, or walking my sweet dog Zuri and exploring dog heaven at Fort Funston Beach. Zuri is incredibly gentle, and we love hosting dog friends at our peaceful, pet-friendly home. You can count on me for: Thoughtful, loving, and responsible care Clear, consistent communication A calm, structured environment your pet can settle into If you're looking for someone dependable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in your pet’s well-being—I’d love to connect. Can’t wait to meet you and your furry family! I'm currently working part-time, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pet the attention they deserve. I’m available for boarding, daycare, and drop-ins—mornings and afternoons or evenings Wednesday through Sunday. Whether your pup needs a playful day or a cozy overnight stay, I’ve got you covered! A Typical Day with Me I love spending time outdoors, so your pup and I will enjoy walks exploring the neighborhood and sniffing new scents. With your approval, I’ll offer healthy treats to keep things fun. We might visit the dog park for some social time, then relax with sunbathing or quiet rest. At home, your dog can play with my gentle pup Zuri—or I’m happy to keep them separate if needed. Since I work part-time, I have plenty of time to be fully present and give your pet all the love and attention they deserve. I truly enjoy building bonds with every dog I care for—it’s one of my favorite parts of this work!

About: I’ve dog sat for friends and family in the past 2 years and I’ve loved the experience. Happy to provide references and chat more about my experience. About: Growing up in a dog-loving household, I developed a deep connection with canines from an early age. My proudest experience was raising my own corgi from puppyhood, learning all aspects of responsible pet ownership. This hands-on experience taught me everything from training and grooming to understanding unique breed characteristics. Combined with helping care for my parents' dogs, I've developed a comprehensive understanding of dog behavior, daily care routines, and the importance of consistent, loving attention. As a student with a flexible schedule, I'm available consistently on weekends and most weekday afternoons. I carefully plan my pet care commitments around my classes to ensure dedicated, unrushed time with each pet. I can provide morning walks, midday check-ins, and extended playtime sessions, always prioritizing the pets' routines and needs. I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. When visiting clients' homes, I follow their specific care instructions meticulously and maintain regular updates through photos and messages. I ensure all doors are secured, maintain a clean environment, and keep pets on their regular feeding and exercise schedules. I also have pet first-aid knowledge for added peace of mind.

Cleanliness is that important to me. I will keep your place tidy and make sure to leave it the same way you left it. If you have specific care instructions for your pet and home, please over-communicate to me and I will work with you to uphold those standards.

“Cleopatra is fantastic! She has been walking my pug on a semi-regular basis for a few months. She came for an initial meet and greet and immediately hit it off with my furbaby. Always super-communicative and friendly. She takes plenty of pictures and I know my dog has fun.”

About: Everyone thinks they have the best dog in the world, and everyone is right! Undergrad student, animal lover, photographer and creative. (I can take the most beautiful portraits of your love!) I’ve grown up with a Doberman, Dachschund, Shih Tzu and currently stay with my baby German Shepherd, Teddy. Whether it’s a big dogs with gentle attitudes or small dogs with fierce ones, I have the heart for it. I’m from the Philippines, where I’ve worked to rescue street dogs and ensure a shelter where they’re properly fed. When I’m in, I read, watch a movie, work on my cameras or paintings. When I’m out, I love to hike, run, or simply mindfully walk - and there’s no harm doing all of that with a buddy.

About: Looking for a personal oasis for your pet? 💛 Look no further in having a responsible animal lover dote on your pet(s). — I grew up around two chihuahas, a german shepard, and two friendly pomeranians at my aunt and uncle’s house. Playing, giving them treats, and making sure they stayed within neighborhood bounds were a regular for my brother and me. I’ve also had the honor to house sit for a variety of dogs and cats. I’ve cared for the needs of senior cats to playful pups to independent rescues, to mischievous kittens. With this experience, I am happy to care for and get to know more of your beloved furred ones! … It is also a special interest of mine to do training for dogs. I believe in using Positive Reinforcement and loving gentleness when it comes time to handling animals. I’m currently working towards my CBATI-KA through Grisha’s Stewart Academy and love continually learning through different trainers, educators, and under the CCPDT’s guidelines of LIMA (Least Intrusive Minimal Aversive). I also was recently certified with Pet CPR Aid with ProHero Training. Let’s book a Meet & Greet! Scheduling: I work as a FT freelancer, so please respond in a timely manner and communicate as much in advance, so I can best fit you and your pet into my schedule/space! — Some things I’d like to know from you: When is your best availability for an initial Meet & Greet? What is the size, breed, and temperament of your animal(s)? Are you ok with me posting pics of your pets? — Thank you! + Please note I will always value you and your fur babies’ comfortability first. … Your pet(s) and their personalities are the Star of the show! — Please let me know about your pet’s personal likes/dislikes, favorite toys, treats, any allergies, and/or particular preferences for comfort & joy. I also have experience administering medication, if needed and have experience (for both dogs and cats) with preparing supplements / added medicine to be mixed in with their meals. A personal side interest of mine is also doing training for dogs. So if your dog has any particular behaviors, you’d like to be worked on, let me know and we can work on tackling an issue together.

About: I have over 6 years of experience caring for dogs in my community. Although these cuddly canines bring me the most joy, I also have extensive experience pet sitting for cats as well. I understand it can be challenging to trust your pet with a new person, so I treat all animals as if they were my own, providing them with the utmost care and compassion. I've had the pleasure of caring for a wide variety of dogs, allowing me to attune to the individual needs of your furry friend. I have most experience working with the following dog breeds: Pitbulls and pit mixes (both are my personal fav), Boxers, miniature Schnauzers, terriers, and Labradors. As a wellness practitioner, I have the ability to plan pet care around my flexible schedule, allowing me to be fully present with each pet. I have a car and am able to travel to you or take your pet to their preferred walk-ing spot. I have most availability in early mornings, weekends, mid afternoons, and some evenings. I live five minutes walking distance away from Oakland's scenic Lake Merritt, perfect for long walks, socializing with other dogs, and extended stays when needed! I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for each pet in my care. When offering home visits, I follow all care instructions to the T, and provide frequent photo updates so you can feel at ease about what your fur baby is up to.

About: I have 10+ years of pet and house sitting experience. I am a lover of all pets, whether they are cuddly or more of the silent observer type. Lots of availability and range of coverage location, so I am here to support you with your needs in watching your fur baby! I am a graduate nursing student who has a lot of free time during the week and weekends, as I only have class certain days of the week. I find myself with not much to do on my free days and would love to use this time to support pet owners while they are away from home. I am very attune to the pet’s routine and try to stick to this as much as possible, as I know they are missing their routine with their owners so much already. I love to spend quality time with the pets that I am watching, whether this involves taking them on long walks, visits to the dog park, or providing many pets. For house sitting, I am a thoughtful guest who keeps spaces clean and respects the client’s home. In the past, I usually bring my own meal-prepped food so that cooking in the home is not necessary other than to heat items up.
