Because I'm a long time cat owner, I really know how to read their body language and understand their moods, whether they want to play, snuggle, or just need some space. I appreciated her commitment to noting everything down and asking for a formal care plan outside of what was verbally communicated. During the visits, her attention to detail and responsiveness to Maddie’s cues were superb. She caught and communicated a malfunctioning of the automatic feeder, which helped us troubleshoot it first thing after the return. Moreover, she did a great job building a relationship with Maddie and proving her companionship on kitty’s terms. About: I have a flexible schedule and am booking dog walks and drop-ins! I can accommodate for whether your dog likes more activity or needs a quiet and calm environment. I have experience dealing with dogs and other animals with anxiety and other medical or physical needs. I work from home at my own pace so I can accommodate different needs! Ideally, pet guests can be left at home alone for about an hour for errands and other events that come up. Please provide a crate if your dog cannot be left alone for over an hour. My home is responsible and dog safe with gates to prevent access to the kitchen. My yard is not fenced but I always keep dogs leashed.

After work which can finish from 3-6pm Monday to Friday, I am free all evening to provide the necessary pet care I have a relatively smallish studio around 400 square feet that has a large window overlooking the city that can open but is not accessible (ie no pet or human can get outside just look outside). The pets are able to go wherever they want in the studio- bed, chairs, table etc (if they want!). The apartment is secure and inaccessible to most unless I let them in so is a safe home. I will ensure the pets if left alone are always safely in the apartment and have access to their food and water at all times. Extra accommodations like pads can be added to the house if not house trained. Animal safety and wellbeing is my upmost priority. As an animal owner myself, I understand the fear and anxiety with trusting someone to look after your angels which is why I treat all pets like my own and go above and beyond to ensure their safety. Open consistent communication is crucial to create a trusting relationship where the pets are at the heart of the conversation always so I will always send regular updates with photos throughout the day/night to ensure pet owners are involved and aware of what's going on

As a teen, I raised two large dogs from puppydom and began practicing rewards-based training, loose-leash walking training, potty training, behavior modification, etc then. I have had dog companions in my life ever since! I have a lot of experience with big dogs and pit bull, german shepherd, husky, and Rottweiler breeds. I have had two pibble roommates in the last five years, and fostered two pibs myself in the last two years here in Oakland. I also volunteer and foster with Oakland Animal Services around my dog care commitments. As a trainer I ascribe to positive-reinforcement, rewards-based behavior training. If you have more questions, please do reach out! I have a couple of M-F afternoon walks and am open to adding similar time commitments. I usually pet sit on the weekends, but also do longer stays as long as it is near my daily clients. About: I have had animals my whole life and have volunteered at animal shelters and rescues. I love animals and will take care of your baby like I would my own. I will be in school full-time starting in the new semesters and am at home most days. I am also available for pet sitting and boarding on my days off. I have a small fenced yard for potty breaks. I also have a crate available in the home if needed. My 8 year old chihuahua will help keep your dog entertained and she loves other dogs.
About: My family’s had 2 Havanese dogs a little over 3 years now and I take care of them regularly when they go out for the night or leave town. In addition I occasionally sit for family friends who have a Yorkie and used to watch a neighbor’s cat when she was still with us. Most animals find me agreeable and I try to be consistent and loving with any younger ones so that they’re shaped into the best possible pets. I’ve recently left my long-term job to focus on watching/walking pets. I do some gig work to make ends meet but my main passion right now is animal care. I have a spacious loft apartment in Chinatown Oakland in a very safe neighborhood just a few minutes walk from Lake Merritt. Crating (with one provided for me) in the apartment is an option as well as my sectional couch or rug depending on your animal’s preferences.

They managed to bring Bruce to the vet so he could get the right medication/treatment. “Chad was great with our pups. It's such a relief to find a good sitter and Chad is one of those people! He has a great place with a big backyard and nice house for the dogs to romp around in. He was very communicative both during our meet and greet as well as during their first stay with him. One of our dogs is a bit skittish with people but warmed right up to Chad, which is a testament to him and his ability to make her feel at ease. We already have another date on the calendar with him. She was available and home with my pups most of the time, very quick and responsive when I messaged her during my trip, sent me LOTS of pictures (which I asked her to do :) and she overall just made leaving my babies so much less stressful. My biggest thing was knowing they were safe and someone was home with them over 4th of July, (my girl is afraid of fireworks). She sent me pictures of her snuggly and relaxed on 4th of July night and her XL fence made me feel very safe with my Great Pyrenees, whom are escape artists. She was cool and ready for the hair and drooling, and even let me drop off at 5AM. Overall, I will be using Shareese again and would highly recommend.”
“Baxter had a great first stay with Kristen and Ryan! He took advantage of various comfy lounging spots in their home as well as sunbathing in their backyard. Baxter was in great shape when I returned. Kristin and Ryan are very friendly and kind, and their communications were clear throughout. I received updates with pictures at least once a day, as requested. I greatly appreciated their flexibility to extend Baxter's stay a bit and coordinate a different pickup arrangement when my trip plans changed. I would certainly book with them again!”

“Asia was super kind and understanding. Her dog Chloe is also super sweet and played with my dog Luna endlessly and was nice to know that my dog had a friend for a few days that can play with her. Asia was super responsive to any requests of photos and would send me updates when I asked her to. She was also very understanding of my travel situation and made it better for me to plan the drop off.
