About: I’m a dedicated dog owner with two golden retrievers of my own, so caring for dogs is a daily part of my life. I’m very comfortable managing different energy levels and ages, keeping dogs safe on walks, and making sure they get the exercise and attention they need. I’ve also assisted dozens of dog owners with training support and behavior observation for their own pets. Paying attention to behavior, body language, and environment is incredibly important to me when caring for your family member. I’m especially attentive to routines, surroundings, and consistency. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. I treat every dog like family and aim to make every walk a positive, safe experience. I work remotely, which gives me flexibility to build my schedule and step away during the day to care for your pup. My easiest availability is typically between 11 AM–2 PM, but I can often adjust earlier or later depending on your dog’s needs. As we move into the warmer months, I’m also mindful of pavement temperatures and happy to schedule walks during cooler parts of the day when needed. Whether your pup needs a quick walk around the block, some playtime in the yard, or a slow scenic sniff to catch up on the neighborhood “doggie news,” I’m happy to tailor the visit to what they enjoy most. I’m based in the Harpers Ferry area and can service nearby neighborhoods, including the new builds in Charles Town. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my top priorities are safety, consistency, and respect for both your pet and your space. I follow any instructions you provide closely so your dog can stay in their normal routine and feel comfortable while you’re away. During visits or walks, I pay close attention to behavior, surroundings, and environmental factors like weather and pavement temperature to help keep your dog safe. I’m also careful with doors, gates, leashes, and feeding instructions to make sure everything is handled exactly as you’d expect. I treat every home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. You can also expect clear communication and updates so you know your pet is happy and doing well while you're away. As a photographer on the side, I also love capturing a quick photo of your pup during our time together so you can see how they're doing.

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I am very familiar with the day to day needs they have, I enjoy taking them for walks and providing general day to day care. I also own fish and geckos, so if you have any small animals that need care, such as reptiles, rabbits, etc. I would be open to caring for them as well. I graduated high school last year and am currently living at home. I have a very flexible schedule and can be free to provide care most days of the week. I do not provide care in my home as I have dogs of my own who don't love to be around other pets. I would provide care in your home.

About: My family and I started using Rover in 2018 when our 17-year-old dog, Faith, needed to be watched during the day. Rover helped make our last months with her a little easier and less stressful until she passed away in early 2019. I began to work with Rover myself in 2020 while I teleworked for two years because of the pandemic. Since then, my family and I have welcomed dozens of dogs into our home. Over a year ago, we relocated to Ranson, West Virginia from Fairfax, Virginia and two of our clients often still travel to our new home for us to board their dogs. I am still working full-time but my parents, Carla and Rob, have been providing great service during the day. We only look after one dog at a time, and someone is always with them so you can rest assured that your dog will get the love, care, and undivided attention that he or she deserves. We love all kinds of dogs and will look after yours like it was our own! In fact, this past April my family and I adopted Milo from a family who used to board him with us. They could no longer give him the attention he needed so they reached out to us to make him a part of our family. I work Tuesday-Saturday and am away from home from 5:30am-6:00pm. My mom works from home remotely and my dad retired and provide excellent care and attention during the day. I ensure that your dog gets plenty of love and attention. They have frequent potty breaks and neighborhood walks. I have plenty of dog treats and toys to keep them entertained and occupied.
