About: I’ve lived with and taken care of dogs my entire life. I loved my childhood dogs whole heartedly through their years and was a primary member in their care when they were seniors. Recently, my family adopted a puppy as well, so I am comfortable with working with young dogs who need more attention and training. I am very familiar with regular day to day at home dog care as well as paying attention while dog walking for distractions, other dogs, or safety concerns. I’m taking a break this summer before school starts again in the fall and am generally available all days of the week besides some vacations planned! I will not be able to offer day care in my home as my family recently adopted a puppy. However, as someone who has owned both a big and a small dog, I am very conscious on keeping spaces clear and doors closed to avoid dogs getting into anything they shouldn’t be. Further, I am very comfortable with schedules and taking dogs out to go to the bathroom frequently if need be, either on a leash or letting them out into a fenced in backyard.

While I mostly grew up with cats, I had a large newfie mix in my high school days and have been the go to pet sitter for my friends when they go on holiday (dogs and cats). At risk of saying the obvious: I will NEVER bring anyone else to your house, be intoxicated while caring for your pets, or explore parts of the house unnecessary for petcare. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I have always been trusted to take detailed and genuine care of animals. I love all animals and they have always been drawn to me. They enrich our lives in so many ways. My 14 years of direct experience I list is being a dog parent to lab/Shepard mix from age 4 to 15, and a cairn terrier pup from age 7 weeks to current just over 3 years. I have watched animals for family and friends as well. So I have experience with puppies and dogs to their last days with us. I also volunteered at a shelter to walk dogs of all types of breeds and sizes. I know each situation is different and am willing to take the time to learn the animal's needs. After August my availability would be adjusted to midday and early evening during the week and mornings to late afternoon on weekends.
