About: Hi there! I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember, helping out family, friends, and neighbors with their pets, as well as looking after my own animals, who are now seniors. I also have a parrot, so I’m comfortable with pets of all kinds and personalities. I treat every pet as if they were my own, giving them the same love, attention, and care they’re used to at home. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or extra TLC for senior pets, you can trust that your furry (or feathery!) friend will feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m a paraprofessional at an elementary school, and I’m looking to fill in some of my time while waiting for my kids to get out of school, as well as make the most of my free time on evenings and weekends doing something I truly enjoy. I’ve been around dogs since I was 8 years old, so caring for them comes naturally to me. From energetic pups to more laid-back companions, I’m comfortable meeting dogs where they’re at and giving them the attention, exercise, and care they need. You can count on me to be reliable, patient, and attentive, and to treat your dog with the same love and care I give my own. When I’m with animals, they truly become part of my world. I have two dogs, a cat, and even a parrot, so I’m used to giving lots of love and attention to all kinds of personalities. I’m very affectionate and make sure every pet I’m caring for feels safe, happy, and completely spoiled. When I’m caring for your pet, I treat them exactly the same as I do my own—with the same love, attention, and affection as if they were part of my family. I love taking dogs along for car rides and even the occasional fun stop (like a pup cup outing!), and I make it a priority to keep them engaged rather than left alone for long periods. Whether it’s regular potty breaks, playtime, or just extra snuggles, I’m attentive to their needs and make sure they’re well cared for every step of the way.

About: I have had pets my entire life. I knew very young that I wanted to work with animals. I have a great love and compassion for them. I will take great care of your babies! I have a lot of experience caring and working with dogs. I have hobby farm experience (dogs, cats, chickens and a horse) as well. I am a Licensed Veterinary Nurse, therefore, I am educated in many aspects of caring for your pet. I know what to look for in case of illness, injury, etc. I can also do some other tasks, like toe nail trims, ear cleanings, etc. I am a dependable, trustworthy person who knows how important your pets are to you. I look forward to caring for your pets and/or walking your dog.

About: I’ve lived with cats my whole life. I’ve had the responsibility of feeding and cleaning them since I was 14. I am very excited to take care of other pets and keep them safe. I feed my two cats three scoops each day (three scoops for each of them), give them lots of fresh water, and clean their litter boxes every day. I not only take care of my pets to make sure they are safe and healthy, but I play with them and have lots of fun with them.

About: I have cared for animals with higher abilities and security training. I've nursed rescue pets back to health and have a great network of vets and other pet professionals. I do not have a standard work schedule at this time. I am self employed and happy to do my best to exceed your expectations. I am an open communicator. I listen to the human and animals verbal cues and body language to discern the comfort level, desired schedule, and overall lifestyle. I do not force animals into sitatuons where they are extremely uncomfortable. I smile, move slow, and try to match the dogs energy. If they want to run, we can! If they need to sit by a tree and relax, I am happy to get some pets while we wait. I also monitor the body language of surrounding animals to avoid miscommunications between pets.

About: We lost our dog, Sophie, 2 years ago so until we find our next rescue I love watching other dogs to get my "dog fix" I work full-time from 7:30am-4pm Tues-Fri. I do work from home on Mondays and I'm available weeknights and weekends. I'm willing to come to your house or your pet is welcome to come to mine. I live in a quiet development where I can walk your dog easily on sidewalks and we have a large yard to play fetch. We also have lots of dog toys we saved.

About: I’m new to Rover, but I’ve been around dogs ever since I was born! While my real pet care experience has really started about 2 years ago, I grew up watching and helping my parents take care of our dogs. I’ve been sitting for my parents’ dogs Oscar and Sadie for the last 2 years while they are at work or on trips, and I have loved every minute of it! I will treat your babies like my own, prioritizing their safety and happiness above all. Your puppies deserve to be spoiled and I’m here to be loving company when needed! I’m working part time, which gives me plenty of time to care for your pets! I’m available during the week for walks from 8am to 4pm. During walks, I let my dogs stop and smell things for as long as they want for optimal enrichment, and I always walk closest to the road to keep them safe. If I have your permission, I give treats at the end of each walk, and a new toy or doggy ice cream when it’s their birthday!

About: I spent 13 years caring for my own dog, Seven, and she was truly part of my family. That experience shaped how I care for every dog-patiently, attentively, and with a lot of love. I genuinely enjoy being outside, going on walks, and making sure dogs are active, happy, and not stuck inside all day. Your dog won’t just be “watched”- they’ll be cared for, played with, and treated like one of our own. I currently work from home and am home the majority of the day, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, supervision, and care. I do step out occasionally for short transportation trips and my boys’ sports activities, but I plan my schedule to ensure pets are never left alone for long periods. Your dog will have a consistent, safe, and attentive environment with lots of interaction throughout the day. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide regular potty breaks every few hours, daily walks, and plenty of outdoor time. When I’m outside working on projects, dogs are welcome to be with me under supervision. Because we are on a busy road and the yard is not fully fenced, all dogs will be closely monitored outdoors. I will follow your preferences regarding leashing at all times, and I also have a secure 20-foot cable line available for safe outdoor time when appropriate. Fresh water is always available, both indoors and outside. I also currently have a calm, 12-year-old foster dog who enjoys light play and does well with other dogs. We’re located near a lake, and with your permission, I’m happy to include supervised swimming and extra outdoor activities for dogs who enjoy it. I will always tailor care to your dog’s individual needs to ensure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for.

That’s what inspired me to become a Rover sitter: to offer dependable, compassionate care for your pets when you need it most. My two pups (a spunky senior Jack Russell/Heeler mix and a mid-aged Husky/Heeler) keep me active and on my toes, and I frequently care for my sister-in-law's dogs as well. I’m experienced with dogs who need a little extra TLC, including those on special diets, daily medications, or unique routines. Whether you need someone to drop in for a quick potty break or want your dog to feel at home while you're away, I treat every pet like family—with patience, attention, and love. I'm flexible! I currently work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule during the days. I work about ~10-15 hours a week and don't have a set 9-5 type schedule. I can do my work whenever, wherever! I have a fenced in yard and two dogs at home. I treat my dogs like they are my BABIES - they get a ton of attention, pets, belly rubs, walks, and kisses. We do a lot of walks in our neighborhood and like to bring our pets on adventures.

About: Dogs have always been part of my life. Since I was a child, I have been around dogs and cared for them. I have always enjoyed exploring nature, playtime , or just cuddling with them. I have taken care of dogs with special needs and dealt with many different personalities. But, above anything, I will follow your instructions to take care of your pup(s). I hope that, as your pet sitter, this brings you peace of mind knowing your pup will be in good hands, have a good time and be loved and cared for while you are away. Dogs enjoy time outside with a base routine (in the yard and/or walks) with naps and/or mentally stimulating games in between. * I am happy to share more details about our daily routine through a meet and greet or chat. They are also allowed to go outside whenever they want to for potty or just exploring the yard. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. If you are looking for a quiet, calm, safe atmosphere for your pup, this is it! I recommend a meet and greet (in person or virtual) to see if we are a good fit and learn about each dog’s personalities. *Dogs are watched at all times and fed separately. * I do not have kennels. The stay with me in the house. I will use their create and follow your instructions to use it. *Have tags on them with name and phone number. I also make a provisional one with my information for when we go for walks if they don’t have one (harnesses are highly recommended) *I encourage to bring their bed, or I can provide them with one. They are allowed on the couch or in a doggy bed in my bedroom. *I enjoy each puppy as much as I can during their stay with me and love to provide them with a fun and comfortable experience. I want them to see me as a fun and a safe person to be with, so I will always strive to be that for them in anyway I can. *I am sensitive to their needs and emotions and am always happy to build a connection with each of them.
