About: I have had pets my entire life. I knew very young that I wanted to work with animals. I have a great love and compassion for them. I will take great care of your babies! I have a lot of experience caring and working with dogs. I have hobby farm experience (dogs, cats, chickens and a horse) as well. I am a Licensed Veterinary Nurse, therefore, I am educated in many aspects of caring for your pet. I know what to look for in case of illness, injury, etc. I can also do some other tasks, like toe nail trims, ear cleanings, etc. I am a dependable, trustworthy person who knows how important your pets are to you. About: Hi there! I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember, helping out family, friends, and neighbors with their pets, as well as looking after my own animals, who are now seniors. I also have a parrot, so I’m comfortable with pets of all kinds and personalities. I treat every pet as if they were my own, giving them the same love, attention, and care they’re used to at home. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or extra TLC for senior pets, you can trust that your furry (or feathery!) friend will feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I have two dogs, a cat, and even a parrot, so I’m used to giving lots of love and attention to all kinds of personalities. I’m very affectionate and make sure every pet I’m caring for feels safe, happy, and completely spoiled. When I’m caring for your pet, I treat them exactly the same as I do my own—with the same love, attention, and affection as if they were part of my family. I love taking dogs along for car rides and even the occasional fun stop (like a pup cup outing!), and I make it a priority to keep them engaged rather than left alone for long periods. Whether it’s regular potty breaks, playtime, or just extra snuggles, I’m attentive to their needs and make sure they’re well cared for every step of the way.

About: I’ve lived with cats my whole life. I’ve had the responsibility of feeding and cleaning them since I was 14. I am very excited to take care of other pets and keep them safe. I feed my two cats three scoops each day (three scoops for each of them), give them lots of fresh water, and clean their litter boxes every day. I not only take care of my pets to make sure they are safe and healthy, but I play with them and have lots of fun with them.

About: I spent 13 years caring for my own dog, Seven, and she was truly part of my family. That experience shaped how I care for every dog-patiently, attentively, and with a lot of love. I genuinely enjoy being outside, going on walks, and making sure dogs are active, happy, and not stuck inside all day. Your dog won’t just be “watched”- they’ll be cared for, played with, and treated like one of our own. I currently work from home and am home the majority of the day, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, supervision, and care. I do step out occasionally for short transportation trips and my boys’ sports activities, but I plan my schedule to ensure pets are never left alone for long periods. Your dog will have a consistent, safe, and attentive environment with lots of interaction throughout the day. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide regular potty breaks every few hours, daily walks, and plenty of outdoor time. When I’m outside working on projects, dogs are welcome to be with me under supervision. Because we are on a busy road and the yard is not fully fenced, all dogs will be closely monitored outdoors. I will follow your preferences regarding leashing at all times, and I also have a secure 20-foot cable line available for safe outdoor time when appropriate. Fresh water is always available, both indoors and outside. I also currently have a calm, 12-year-old foster dog who enjoys light play and does well with other dogs. We’re located near a lake, and with your permission, I’m happy to include supervised swimming and extra outdoor activities for dogs who enjoy it. I will always tailor care to your dog’s individual needs to ensure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: We lost our dog, Sophie, 2 years ago so until we find our next rescue I love watching other dogs to get my "dog fix" I work full-time from 7:30am-4pm Tues-Fri. I do work from home on Mondays and I'm available weeknights and weekends. I'm willing to come to your house or your pet is welcome to come to mine. I live in a quiet development where I can walk your dog easily on sidewalks and we have a large yard to play fetch. We also have lots of dog toys we saved.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life. Animals are a big passion of mine and I would love to help out others with theirs!! I’ve pet sat and dog walked for family and friends since I was 11. I’m hoping to help others with caring for their pets!! Im currently in college but my schedule is pretty flexible. I’m open on weekends and most week nights. I have a yard, all though it’s not fenced in there are dog parks within walking distance from my home and I’m more than happy to take dogs to them and keep an eye on them. There are many trails right by my home such as the white pine trail as well.

About: I have cared for animals with higher abilities and security training. I've nursed rescue pets back to health and have a great network of vets and other pet professionals. I do not have a standard work schedule at this time. I am self employed and happy to do my best to exceed your expectations. I am an open communicator. I listen to the human and animals verbal cues and body language to discern the comfort level, desired schedule, and overall lifestyle. I do not force animals into sitatuons where they are extremely uncomfortable. I smile, move slow, and try to match the dogs energy. If they want to run, we can! If they need to sit by a tree and relax, I am happy to get some pets while we wait. I also monitor the body language of surrounding animals to avoid miscommunications between pets.

About: Dogs have always been part of my life. Since I was a child, I have been around dogs and cared for them. I have always enjoyed exploring nature, playtime , or just cuddling with them. The stay with me in the house. I will use their create and follow your instructions to use it. *Have tags on them with name and phone number. I also make a provisional one with my information for when we go for walks if they don’t have one (harnesses are highly recommended) *I encourage to bring their bed, or I can provide them with one. They are allowed on the couch or in a doggy bed in my bedroom. *I enjoy each puppy as much as I can during their stay with me and love to provide them with a fun and comfortable experience. I want them to see me as a fun and a safe person to be with, so I will always strive to be that for them in anyway I can. *I am sensitive to their needs and emotions and am always happy to build a connection with each of them.

About: Hello! My name is Ally and I am a confirmed animal lover! All of my friends and family say that they want to come back in their next life as one of my pets lol. My family has had many different types of animals since I was a baby and love taking care of them. I have extensive experience in caring for cats, dogs, and horses - any size or age. I also have plenty of experience giving medications (pills, shots, ect) and have no issues with special requests. My older dog Dozer (who passed away at age 13 in April 2021) had Addisons and caratracts, so I have plenty of experience giving extra care when needed. I am currently am working a hybrid work schedule, but I work from home Thursdays and Fridays. On the weekends you will most likely find me out and about with my current dog Finnley. Finnley is a 5 year old Goldendoodle who loves life, people, treats and other dogs. We love to go to dog parks, the cottage, trails in the woods, car rides, the indoor dog park, and the Muskegon Dog Beach. I use positive reinforcement only and the dogs are of course allowed on the furniture. I have had many years of experience in training my own dogs and have no issues following any rules that you have for your pet. Finnley and I live in downtown Rockford. While I don’t have a fenced in back yard, Finnley and I take at least 2 long walks a day. I also have access to the Rockford Dog Park, The Pack Indoor Dog park, Townsend Park, Grand Ravines Dog Park, trails in downtown Rockford, Grand Rogue Park, and the White Pine Trail. Finn and I are more than happy to have multiple dogs on our walks with us – the more the merrier! Finnley and I would love to take care of your fur family! Currently I am working a hybrid work schedule and only have to go in to work 3 days a week. The rest of the week I am working from home and take several long walks a day. If the weather is not great (rain, too cold, ect) I have access to The Pack indoor dog park. My current dog Finnley and I love to go for multiple long walks - both off leash in the woods and on leash downtown Rockford. We have multiple potty breaks a day, have plenty of toys to play with, and Finnley loves playing with other dogs. Finnley has full access to water all the time and gets fed twice a day. If I do have to leave the house, it is only for 5 hrs at a time maximum. While I don't have a fenced in yard, I have access to multiple dog parks, trails, and other areas for exercise. Finnley is crate trained and is in his kennel when I am out of the house & at night. I only take dogs out to go potty on a leash. My house is extremely pet proof.

About: My daughter and I are dog sitting for two reasons -- we flat out love dogs and my daughter is saving for college. While supporting my daughter's entrepreneurial spirit your dog will get a vacation of a lifetime. Without getting too deep into my resume, here are some highlights: -Handled five police dogs. 1000's of deployments. -Master Trainer for the International Police Work Dog Association. -Developed and taught a unique dog safety program. Have presented the hands on program from everyone to 1000's of second graders to regional UPS drivers. -Recognized expert witness in court on dog tracking, aggression, training, and deployment. -Over 75 nationally published articles on dog obedience, housing, behavior, training, etc. -Tested, certified, and trained working dogs from nearly all 50 states and several countries. (This year I've had dog teams travel to my home from Montana, Florida, Iowa, etc for assistance). I do all this because I simply love interacting with dogs. The love has spread to my 13 year old daughter. I currently have a very fun, young, and goofy dog -- a Vizsla named "Ranger." He clearly isn't a working dog and isn't a picture of obedience perfection. (I only mention this to let you know that despite my resume your dog doesn't have to be perfect and is coming into a very fun and loving household!) We've truly been a dog centered household for 20 years. My wife is a literal Saint! My private dog training rates, and I've turned down much more work than I've accepted, runs 10x the Rover.com rate we are charging. About: I've had family dogs my entire life, but 5 years ago I adopted my very first personal dog, Winston. Other dogs in the house are Lottie (4 years old) and Sully (2 years old). My family and I have been fostering for Unleashed Love Pet Rescue since fall of 2017. That being said, we've had many dogs come through our house - all with different backgrounds and behavior. We've fostered dogs as young as 3 days old to 9 years old. I have taken a few classes about dog behavior and medicine, as well as an obedience class with Winston. I have dog/house sat for family in the past for weeks at a time as well. I look forward to meeting you! I’m currently without a job, so this would be my main priority at the moment. My dogs need to be let out every 4-8 hours but other than that I am available! I have a fenced yard and 3 dogs to keep your pupper company. We have buckets of toys available at all times. Our dogs are not crated regularly, but I do have crates of all sizes available if necessary.

About: We are a Christian home with a very active family! I’m thankful that my job allows me to spend most of my days at home with the kids and dog. Our dog is very friendly and loves new visitors. She’s smaller, but loves the big dogs best! My daughter on the other hand loves the smaller dogs. We will happily welcome them all! My dog and I frequent the dog parks, hiking trails, beaches and walks through the town. I used to be a former 4-H member with my childhood dog, so I’ve got many years experience with training and showing. My love and patience is huge for dogs. I prefer a dog to be kennel trained, and come with a crate but an open to discussion. I am very flexible and I will most certainly work with you with whatever you may need.
