About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have three dogs, all of whom I brought home at eight weeks old and personally raised and trained. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I enjoy—it’s a lifelong passion. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, from Chihuahuas to Pit Bulls to Alaskan Malamutes and everything in between. Over the years, I have provided pet care for neighbors, friends, colleagues, and clients, and I understand the importance of treating every dog with patience, kindness, and individualized care. While working as a home health care aide, I was often entrusted with caring for my clients’ pets, ensuring they were fed, exercised, and comfortable while their owners received care. I also volunteered as a dog walker with the Humane Society of West Michigan, where I gained experience working with dogs of varying personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I am comfortable administering medications, following detailed feeding plans and dietary restrictions, and adapting to each dog’s unique routine. I am also certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR, giving pet owners added peace of mind that their companions are in capable hands. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, active playtime, or simply spending time with someone who genuinely loves dogs, I am committed to providing safe, dependable, and compassionate care while you’re away. As a devoted dog owner of three, caring for animals is an integral part of my daily life, and I extend that same level of attention, responsibility, and affection to every pet in my care. I am fully comfortable handling all aspects of daily dog care, including feeding, walking, potty breaks, enrichment, and playtime. My flexible schedule allows me to be home for most of the day throughout the week, as well as on weekends, providing consistent supervision and companionship. I also have the option to work from home when additional attention or frequent potty breaks are needed. In my household, pets are rarely left alone for extended periods. On typical days when I am away from home, my dogs are alone no longer than 5–6 hours. In many cases, my boyfriend may be home when I am not, and when both of us are working, we are generally away for no more than 4–5 hours at a time. If both of us are expected to be away for longer than two hours during a pet’s care period, I communicate this in advance to ensure transparency and appropriate planning. I maintain a consistent but flexible routine that prioritizes feeding, hydration, exercise, and enrichment. Dogs always have access to fresh water and are fed twice daily (or as often as your individual dog requires). Potty breaks are provided frequently based on each dog’s individual needs and cues; however, I am more than willing to follow a more structured schedule if that is what your pet is accustomed to. I am also experienced with administering medications, including monthly heartworm and flea prevention, and take great care to ensure all medications are given accurately and on time. While my household follows a generally relaxed routine, I understand that many pets thrive on structure. I am fully comfortable adhering to detailed instructions and incorporating established routines into my daily care. During the days I am available according to my Rover schedule, I am home for the majority of the day. Any brief absences are typically limited to short appointments, during which my boyfriend may assist with supervision, or pets will be safely confined if appropriate. Above all, I prioritize safety, supervision, and communication. Your pet will never be left without attentive care. Whether in my home or yours, I ensure consistent supervision, engagement, and affection so that every animal feels secure, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their time with me. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I share my home with three friendly dogs, each with their own unique personality: an energetic and affectionate Boston Terrier, a more reserved but sweet Boston Terrier, and a laid-back Chihuahua who enjoys staying close by. They are well-socialized and can provide companionship for visiting dogs when appropriate. My home is set up to accommodate a variety of needs and routines. I have three individual crates with comfortable bedding available for dogs who are crate trained or require confinement, and you are always welcome to bring your own crate if it helps your pet feel more at home. While my own dogs enjoy free access to the house and are allowed on the furniture, I am happy to follow your pet’s established rules and routines, including using gates or designated areas if needed. Although my yard is not physically fenced, safety is always a top priority. My dogs are never outdoors unsupervised, and the same standard of care applies to every pet I watch. I have a large, open yard that provides plenty of space for exercise, and I regularly walk dogs on a leash around the property and in the neighborhood. If your dog is most comfortable on a leash or tie-out while outside, I am more than happy to accommodate those preferences. All of my dogs are current on their vaccinations and receive routine veterinary care. I pay close attention to changes in their health, behavior, and overall well-being, and I bring that same level of attentiveness to every pet in my care. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will treat both your home and your companion with the utmost respect. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, training, household rules, and daily routines to ensure your pet experiences as little disruption as possible while you are away. At bedtime, I am happy to follow whatever sleeping arrangement your pet is accustomed to, whether that means sleeping in a crate, on their own bed, or sharing a room with me. My goal is to maintain their normal routine so they feel secure and comfortable. My boyfriend and I live together, but I will be your pet’s primary caregiver. He may occasionally assist if I need to step away briefly, providing additional supervision and support, but all communication and primary care responsibilities remain with me. For added peace of mind, I am certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR. You can trust that your pet will receive attentive, compassionate, and responsible care throughout their stay.
“My Dog, Buffy, stayed with Matt for a week. She is 14 years old and she's a nervous girl. Matt was so good with her! He was with her night and day. He fed her according to my instructions. She has very few teeth left. He has a sweet dog ,Memphis, who was very good with Buffy too. I would highly recommend Matt to take care of your pet!”

“Fantastic all-around. Our little guy has been comfortable from day one, the communication is fantastic, and we’ve felt at-ease with Kristopher and his family while needing to travel on short notice. Definitely utilizing them again!”

“We have complete trust in Todd & Maureen for our somewhat hyper female lab mix. I think she enjoys being there with the other dogs they have and where she can run in their back yard and yet stay indoors as she is used to doing. And I am sure she loves the AC on these very hot days we have had recently. We appreciate the pics and updates while we are vacationing. Highly recommended.”

“Soly did such an amazing job watching Freya for a week! She was immediately comfortable with him, and I can tell she had a great time. Communication was thorough and excellent, your dogs will be in incredible hands!”

About: As someone who not only has pets but spent over a year working at a pet store I’ve cared for many different types of dogs, learned how to read animal behavior, and understand the importance of safety, routine, and trust. I’m reliable, attentive, and always prioritize your pet’s comfort and well-being Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. I have both a dog and a cat, so I’m used to balancing walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day. Because I already plan my days around caring for my own pets, it’s easy for me to incorporate walks, drop-ins, and sitting for others. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. This includes timely feedings, regular walks, playtime, enrichment, and lots of attention. I make sure pets have fresh water, a clean environment, and I closely monitor their behavior to ensure they’re happy and safe.

About: We are a Christian home with a very active family! I’m thankful that my job allows me to spend most of my days at home with the kids and dog. Our dog is very friendly and loves new visitors. She’s smaller, but loves the big dogs best! My daughter on the other hand loves the smaller dogs. We will happily welcome them all! My dog and I frequent the dog parks, hiking trails, beaches and walks through the town. I used to be a former 4-H member with my childhood dog, so I’ve got many years experience with training and showing. My love and patience is huge for dogs. I prefer a dog to be kennel trained, and come with a crate but an open to discussion. I am very flexible and I will most certainly work with you with whatever you may need. Look forwarding to meeting you and your pup. We are home the majority of our days, tending to our hobby farm, and enjoying time outside. We have a very flexible schedule, and are willing to accommodate. The dogs are always fed separate, and separated when I leave! Pets are allowed on beds, and couches. They will get lots of time outside with us.

About: I am an experienced pet owner and have cared for multiple cats and dogs at the same time, including puppies, kittens, and dogs of all sizes. I understand that every pet has its own personality and routine, and I strive to make them feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when someone else is caring for your pet. You can count on me to be reliable, attentive, and communicative. I’ll send photos and videos during my visits so you can see that your pet is happy, safe, and receiving plenty of care and attention. I also understand that life doesn’t always go as planned, so I offer last-minute care whenever my schedule allows. My goal is to provide calm, confident, and compassionate care so your pet feels secure, loved, and well cared for until you’re home again. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule and am available throughout the week, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and many holidays. My open availability allows me to accommodate regular visits as well as many last-minute requests. I treat every client's home with the same respect and care that I would my own. Your pet's safety and well-being are my top priorities, and I'll ensure your home is secure, clean, and exactly as you left it. You can count on me to be reliable, trustworthy, and attentive during every visit.
About: For dogs who need more energy burned off, I’m happy to do a run instead of a walk, depending on weather and your dog’s needs. My pace tops out at a 10-minute mile, and I can get down to a 9-minute mile as the weather cools. If your dog is comfortable with other dogs, I’ll also bring along my own dog, a blue heeler, to run together. On the flip side, I’m also a big believer in “sniff walks” — letting the dog lead the way and take in all the smells they want, at their own pace. I listen to podcasts during these, so I’m well-practiced at going slow and staying patient. I treat every pet like my own: plenty of attention, patience, and care, plus updates and photos so you know they’re in good hands. Looking forward to meeting your furry friend! I have a flexible work-from-home schedule this summer and into the fall, which gives me time most mornings for pet care. I’m out and about with my own dog anyway, so fitting in visits or walks is easy. I’ll be taking on as many visits as I can, since it fits naturally into my routine right now. I follow the owner’s care instructions closely — feeding schedules, routines, and any specific needs the pet has. Clear instructions upfront make for an efficient, friendly visit and a happy pet. I always make sure doors and gates are secure before and after a visit, and I send updates and photos so you know exactly how things went.

I have a flexible schedule for families that work and need pet care. I’m excited to take care of your fur babies, keep them safe, and bring you peace of mind. I currently work part-time as a line cook, since school is out for the summer. I will be attending college in the fall to pursue my dental hygiene degree. I am available Monday, Tuesday ,and Wednesday all day for same day booking or scheduled booking walking, sitting, and grooming. I make it my number one goal that all pets are safe and entertained, while in my care. I am diligent about making sure that doors/gates are latched and keeping a close on your pet at all times. I want to help keep your pet on their routine that makes them happiest. I’m happy to follow specific instruction in order to make your pet feel at home.
About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have three dogs, all of whom I brought home at eight weeks old and personally raised and trained.
About: We lost our dog, Sophie, 2 years ago so until we find our next rescue I love watching other dogs to get my "dog fix" I work full-time from 7:30am-4pm Tues-Fri. I do work from home on Mondays and I'm available weeknights and weekends. I'm willing to come to your house or your pet is welcome to come to mine. I live in a quiet development where I can walk your dog easily on sidewalks and we have a large yard to play fetch. We also have lots of dog toys we saved.
About: I have decades of experience living and working with dogs and cats. I also have animal training experience. I enjoy meeting new animals and their people. I currently work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I am able to take frequent breaks to give animals care, attention and activity. I currently have a house with lots of space, with a big yard and 40 acres of walking trails to entertain your special fur baby.
“Ricardo is amazing! First time using Rover and I absolutely picked the right person. He scheduled a meet-and-greet to introduce himself and get to know my dog. They were completely at ease with each other. Ricardo’s a proactive communicator, provided regular updates, and was always friendly and punctual. I highly recommend.”

About: I have had pets my entire life. I knew very young that I wanted to work with animals. I have a great love and compassion for them. I will take great care of your babies! I have a lot of experience caring and working with dogs. I have hobby farm experience (dogs, cats, chickens and a horse) as well. I am a Licensed Veterinary Nurse, therefore, I am educated in many aspects of caring for your pet. I know what to look for in case of illness, injury, etc. I can also do some other tasks, like toe nail trims, ear cleanings, etc. I am a dependable, trustworthy person who knows how important your pets are to you. About: I have cared for animals with higher abilities and security training. I've nursed rescue pets back to health and have a great network of vets and other pet professionals. I do not have a standard work schedule at this time. I am self employed and happy to do my best to exceed your expectations. I am an open communicator. I listen to the human and animals verbal cues and body language to discern the comfort level, desired schedule, and overall lifestyle. I do not force animals into sitatuons where they are extremely uncomfortable. I smile, move slow, and try to match the dogs energy. If they want to run, we can! If they need to sit by a tree and relax, I am happy to get some pets while we wait. I also monitor the body language of surrounding animals to avoid miscommunications between pets.
About: I’ve lived with cats my whole life. I’ve had the responsibility of feeding and cleaning them since I was 14. I am very excited to take care of other pets and keep them safe. I feed my two cats three scoops each day (three scoops for each of them), give them lots of fresh water, and clean their litter boxes every day. I not only take care of my pets to make sure they are safe and healthy, but I play with them and have lots of fun with them.

“Neeko loved staying with this wonderful family and they really seemed to enjoy having him. Actually, even though he was happy to see me, he didn’t seem to want to leave. That’s the best compliment of all, if you ask me. Will definitely ask them to take care of my pup again when the need arises.”
