Taylor called me at work (per my request) so that I could go over how to get into my house, etc. and she calmed my nerves too :) when she got there, he had tore up his mattress pad in his kennel- she cleaned it up so that he couldn’t eat it. She then walked him, took pictures for me and played with him enough to tire him out for a bit. She was so good with him anc it was so appreciated! ❤️❤️”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud rescue dog parent with over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I know firsthand how tough it can be to find affordable, trustworthy help—especially when juggling a busy schedule. That’s what inspired me to become a Rover sitter: to offer dependable, compassionate care for your pets when you need it most. My two pups (a spunky senior Jack Russell/Heeler mix and a mid-aged Husky/Heeler) keep me active and on my toes, and I frequently care for my sister-in-law's dogs as well. I’m experienced with dogs who need a little extra TLC, including those on special diets, daily medications, or unique routines. Whether you need someone to drop in for a quick potty break or want your dog to feel at home while you're away, I treat every pet like family—with patience, attention, and love. I'm flexible! I currently work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule during the days. I work about ~10-15 hours a week and don't have a set 9-5 type schedule. I can do my work whenever, wherever! I have a fenced in yard and two dogs at home. I treat my dogs like they are my BABIES - they get a ton of attention, pets, belly rubs, walks, and kisses. We do a lot of walks in our neighborhood and like to bring our pets on adventures.

About: I have pet care experience of all kinds including breeding and stud service, shots and weening. We have a large open floor plan with a 4 stall garage to roam. Price will vary if dog is not fully potty trained or in heat during their stay. I am a stay at home entrepreneur allowing me to be present with pets while they are here. I am also a groomer! My husband and I believe this is a great opportunity to be able to love on all kinds of different breeds as our own and a fun way to take care of some of the most precious pets. That being said i will only accept crate trained dogs(for their safety) they need to be able to be crated safely while we are away for a short or longer amount of time. There are no cats or dogs here (unless confirmed by you that its okay to board at the same time as another families pet) so you won't have to worry about your pet getting along with anyone else while they are here. About: I have had pets my entire life. I knew very young that I wanted to work with animals. I have a great love and compassion for them. I will take great care of your babies! I have a lot of experience caring and working with dogs. I have hobby farm experience (dogs, cats, chickens and a horse) as well. I am a Licensed Veterinary Nurse, therefore, I am educated in many aspects of caring for your pet. I know what to look for in case of illness, injury, etc. I can also do some other tasks, like toe nail trims, ear cleanings, etc. I am a dependable, trustworthy person who knows how important your pets are to you. About: Dogs have always been part of my life. Since I was a child, I have been around dogs and cared for them. I have always enjoyed exploring nature, playtime , or just cuddling with them. I have taken care of dogs with special needs and dealt with many different personalities. But, above anything, I will follow your instructions to take care of your pup(s). Dogs enjoy time outside with a base routine (in the yard and/or walks) with naps and/or mentally stimulating games in between. * I am happy to share more details about our daily routine through a meet and greet or chat. They are also allowed to go outside whenever they want to for potty or just exploring the yard. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I recommend a meet and greet (in person or virtual) to see if we are a good fit and learn about each dog’s personalities (how they relate to other dogs, share activities that involve food, toys, etc) *Dogs are watched at all times and fed separately. * I do not have kennels. The stay with me in the house. I will use their create and follow your instructions to use it. *Have tags on them with name and phone number. I also make a provisional one with my information for when we go for walks if they don’t have one (harnesses are highly recommended) *I encourage to bring their bed, or I can provide them with one. They are allowed on the couch or in a doggy bed in my bedroom. *I enjoy each puppy as much as I can during their stay with me and love to provide them with a fun and comfortable experience. I want them to see me as a fun and a safe person to be with, so I will always strive to be that for them in anyway I can. *I am sensitive to their needs and emotions and am always happy to build a connection with each of them.

About: Hi! My name is Sierra and I am a 30 year old who has been around animals since the day I was born.I have always considered my pets as my own child. I currently have a 6 year old SharPei/Blue Heeler mix named Dahlia, 4 year old cat named Emerald and a 2 year old husky/golden retriever named Dallas! I’ve worked as a camp counselor at a doggy day care feeding dogs, walking them, and cleaning up accidents. I am comfortable with feeding, walking, bathing, giving medications, following bedtime protocol, and any kind of instructions needed. I am planning on going to school to become a nurse, and I would love to watch, play, and walk your little ones while you are away! Pet care is built into my daily schedule with consistent routines for feeding, walks, potty breaks, and attention, along with weekly time for grooming, cleaning, and enrichment I care for pets by maintaining their normal routines, including feeding, walks or potty breaks, playtime, and any special care needs. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and communication, and I provide regular updates to owners.

About: I grew up with labs my whole life so I’m very use to large dogs! The endless shedding doesn’t scare me away! I truly love all dog breeds though and I’m willing to open up to even the moody ones! I work full time 8:30-5:00 but I do have an hour lunch that I can make work for potty breaks and short walks! I can also stop by before and after work and I’m willing to stay during night weeknights too on occasion. I have an husband and two kids so I prefer to be home during week nights but with a notice in advance I can make it work. I am a bit OCD with my own pet care. My cat has an enclosure for his litter box with foam flooring for underneath the enclosure. I keep a broom, a shop vac and a swifter all just for his area. He has special prescription food and I keep his diet on a schedule. He gets lots of love daily and I plan provide the same care for your pets!

About: My daughter and I are dog sitting for two reasons -- we flat out love dogs and my daughter is saving for college. While supporting my daughter's entrepreneurial spirit your dog will get a vacation of a lifetime. Without getting too deep into my resume, here are some highlights: -Handled five police dogs. 1000's of deployments. -Master Trainer for the International Police Work Dog Association. -Developed and taught a unique dog safety program. Have presented the hands on program from everyone to 1000's of second graders to regional UPS drivers. -Recognized expert witness in court on dog tracking, aggression, training, and deployment. -Over 75 nationally published articles on dog obedience, housing, behavior, training, etc. -Tested, certified, and trained working dogs from nearly all 50 states and several countries. (This year I've had dog teams travel to my home from Montana, Florida, Iowa, etc for assistance). I do all this because I simply love interacting with dogs. The love has spread to my 13 year old daughter. I currently have a very fun, young, and goofy dog -- a Vizsla named "Ranger." He clearly isn't a working dog and isn't a picture of obedience perfection. (I only mention this to let you know that despite my resume your dog doesn't have to be perfect and is coming into a very fun and loving household!) We've truly been a dog centered household for 20 years. My wife is a literal Saint! My private dog training rates, and I've turned down much more work than I've accepted, runs 10x the Rover.com rate we are charging. About: I have always loved dogs but since getting my own puppy, my love for them grew even more. I am that girl that stops you on the side of the road to pet and love on your puppy. I work 2 12 hour shifts in a row so the days I’m not working I have pretty open. I have a very routine schedule and would love to incorporate walking your dog into it! Since having my own puppy, I am able to understand when he is comfortable and when he is in need of something. I always make sure he is comfortable and happy.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was young. I love dogs unconditionally and love to play with them, I feed them when needed, I can give baths, and I love to take them on walks. My friends and family have relied on me to dog-sit whenever I was available to do so. I will be at college very soon, so weekends are great for me to walk dogs and care for pets. Also evenings will work well for me. I have a pretty open schedule for awhile I just need to work around classes. I have a fenced in yard and a very playful energetic dog. He is very sweet but he is like our baby so we don’t like to bring other dogs in just because he can get jealous and we don’t like to risk it.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was very young. I grew up as an animal lover and love all animals. I currently work for MonkeyShine Pet Resort, which is a dog boarding, grooming, and daycare facility. I have a lot of experience with fury friends. Friends and family have relied on me over the years to ensure their pets were let out, walked, and groomed. I’m currently working at Monkeyshine Boarding and Daycare for dogs. I will be attending college in Cadillac part time upcoming in the fall. I am home quite often, typically running a couple errands here and there on my days off but make time for my pets daily needs such as feeding, exercise, and medications. When working typically if I work a full day. I am home at lunch for about 2 hours and am only working 4 hours in the morning or evening, sometimes both. I will be living in an apartment soon, my mom and dad live on 20 acres of open land for pets to run around, and my in laws also live on over 100 acres of open land to Rome and get exercise on. I make quite a bit time for my fur babies. Whether that means being home for the day, coming home on my lunches, or even taking them with me when I go places.

About: We lost our dog, Sophie, 2 years ago so until we find our next rescue I love watching other dogs to get my "dog fix" I work full-time from 7:30am-4pm Tues-Fri. We promise to treat your dogs as we treat our own. We will care for any dog, including special needs or dogs requiring medication administration. We love going for long walks and playing fetch in our backyard. We’ve recently renovated our pole barn into a doggy resort, with three personalized rooms, for overnight stays in our home. Dogs will have access to an attached fenced area outdoors and receive regular playtimes and 2-3 walks daily. I am a stay at home mom, so I’m on site at all times to love on your pups. Also available for drop ins/walks if your pets are child friendly. My 4 dogs get along well together. I work from home so they receive lots of attention and play sessions in our fenced backyard. Dogs we board in our home will be kept in our recently renovated, climate controlled pole barn (3 private rooms) which are also under video surveillance which is streamed continuously to my phone. This building is only a few feet from our home, so visitors will feel like part of the family while also having their privacy. All pet visitors receive regular play times, access to outside, and 2-3 walks daily while in our care. Play dates with other dogs can be accommodated with our dog friendly guests.
