About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was young. I love dogs unconditionally and love to play with them, I feed them when needed, I can give baths, and I love to take them on walks. My friends and family have relied on me to dog-sit whenever I was available to do so. I’m currently an MSW student and work part time at the moment. Wednesdays and Fridays will typically be completely free all day. Monday, Tuesdays, and Thursdays I work till 5 PM in Grand Rapids. If services are in Newaygo I’m free at 6 PM once I’m back! I LOVE dogs so this is more of a side thing since I just genuinely enjoy playing and taking care of pups :) I have a fenced in yard and a very playful energetic dog. He is very sweet but he is like our baby so we don’t like to bring other dogs in just because he can get jealous and we don’t like to risk it.

About: My daughter and I are dog sitting for two reasons -- we flat out love dogs and my daughter is saving for college. While supporting my daughter's entrepreneurial spirit your dog will get a vacation of a lifetime. Without getting too deep into my resume, here are some highlights: -Handled five police dogs. 1000's of deployments. -Master Trainer for the International Police Work Dog Association. -Developed and taught a unique dog safety program. Have presented the hands on program from everyone to 1000's of second graders to regional UPS drivers. -Recognized expert witness in court on dog tracking, aggression, training, and deployment. -Over 75 nationally published articles on dog obedience, housing, behavior, training, etc. -Tested, certified, and trained working dogs from nearly all 50 states and several countries. (This year I've had dog teams travel to my home from Montana, Florida, Iowa, etc for assistance). I do all this because I simply love interacting with dogs. The love has spread to my 13 year old daughter. I currently have a very fun, young, and goofy dog -- a Vizsla named "Ranger." He clearly isn't a working dog and isn't a picture of obedience perfection. (I only mention this to let you know that despite my resume your dog doesn't have to be perfect and is coming into a very fun and loving household!) We've truly been a dog centered household for 20 years. My wife is a literal Saint! My private dog training rates, and I've turned down much more work than I've accepted, runs 10x the Rover.com rate we are charging. This is truly a venture that partners up youth business and the love of dogs. Long live Capitalism, dogs, and the USA!

About: I’ve always had dogs and love caring for animals. I lost my beloved dog and I miss her wildly. Spending time with dogs allows me to honor that bond and brings me genuine joy; I truly enjoy getting to know each animal unique personality. I treat every animal woth the same kindness, patience and love I gave to my own dog. I have a very flexible schedule and I can give pets the attention, supervision and companionship they deserve 24/7! I don’t work so I’m completely free to take care of your fur babies. We travel extensively in our motorhome, but we are based in Michigan. Our Michigan home has an acre of woods for the dog to enjoy. There are no roads nearby and it is very safe and quiet.

About: Hi! I’m Ashley, and I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. My stepdad was the head of animal control, which taught me a lot about animal behavior, safety, and compassion at a young age. I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently share my heart (and couch!) with two of my own—Sassy, my sweet 17-year-old dachshund who I’ve had since 2011, and Oakley, a playful 6-year-old lab I adopted from the local animal shelter. I understand the unique needs of both senior dogs and high-energy pups, and I treat every animal in my care like family. Whether your pet needs gentle senior support, active playtime, or just some extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help with dependable, loving care. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I work from home most of the week, which allows me to give my dogs plenty of attention, potty breaks, and playtime throughout the day. On the days I’m in the office, I’m only five minutes from home, so I’m able to come back easily to let my dogs out and check in on them. Their well-being is always a top priority, and I structure my day to make sure they’re comfortable and cared for—I’d do the same for yours! I care for pets in whatever way is most comfortable for them. I follow your instructions closely to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. If your pet loves their kennel, that’s perfectly fine—but if they prefer to cuddle up in bed, I’m more than happy to share the extra snuggles! Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding routines, or just relaxing on the couch, I do my best to make every pet feel safe, loved, and right at home.

“Taylor was amazing! Yesterday was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous about my pup being home alone... Taylor called me at work (per my request) so that I could go over how to get into my house, etc. and she calmed my nerves too :) when she got there, he had tore up his mattress pad in his kennel- she cleaned it up so that he couldn’t eat it. She then walked him, took pictures for me and played with him enough to tire him out for a bit. She was so good with him anc it was so appreciated! ❤️❤️”

About: I have had pets my entire life. I knew very young that I wanted to work with animals. I have a great love and compassion for them. I will take great care of your babies! I have a lot of experience caring and working with dogs. I have hobby farm experience (dogs, cats, chickens and a horse) as well. I am a Licensed Veterinary Nurse, therefore, I am educated in many aspects of caring for your pet. I know what to look for in case of illness, injury, etc. I can also do some other tasks, like toe nail trims, ear cleanings, etc. I am a dependable, trustworthy person who knows how important your pets are to you. About: My family and I have always had pets. Mainly Dogs and Cats, I was able to grow up around Terriers, Retrievers, Rottweilers, Bulldogs, and Mixed Breeds. Each pet is a member of the family. Currently, I am a student at Ferris State working part-time. Able to spend lots of time and give lots of care to pets. On Weekdays I am free almost every evening. I have requested at least two days in advance in order to accommodate my schedule so I can provide the best for your pet! At my apartment complex, we have two dog areas as well as a connection area for the Ferris State disc golf course. I am willing to travel to the parks in Big Rapids to give your dog all the attention and fun! The same for cats, I am willing to make sure my home is suitable for all.
