“My Jojo had such fun & Iris was so great to work with and kept me updated. Was very happy & would definitely recommend! She was great! Loved seeing all the pictures of the fun activities and updates over the weekend of my fur babies stay.”

“Reyna and her family are the best! I wanted some place that wouldn't keep Maizey Blue in a crate all day, and I found Reyna on Rover.com. To say she was everything I was looking for is an understatement! She and her family treated Maizey as their own, even bringing her into their home and sending pictures every day. The children all played with her and they comforted her during a storm. Maizey has high separation anxiety, but was very content staying with them. I cannot thank them enough for the wonderful care they gave my fur baby, and the peace of mind knowing she was happy in their care. Although they are more than 15 miles from me, it is well worth the drive. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed!”

“I’m so grateful that Marigold and Darla took care of Norman while we were on Spring Break! He was very tired when we got home. They sent pictures every day. That eased my mind. They have a great back yard and take the dog’s safety and security very seriously.”

“Megan was an amazing sitter! Our Frenchie had a little health issue prior to our drop off and Megan navigated a few restrictions on Tula's activity, as requested. She updated us with photos and reports throughout the stay, and we felt Tula settled in well with Megan. We highly recommend Megan and will be using her services again soon.”

“Sabrina was great with our puppy, Winston. It was our first time boarding any of our pets but she eased our minds with a lot of updates and photos/videos. He seemed to have loved his time there and playing with other furry friends.”

“Rachel was fantastic with my 2 dogs. One of them has experienced separation anxiety before and Rachel was very patient and prepared for how to make him feel comfortable and cared for. She provided lots of updates during their stay and was very easy to communicate with. I will be reaching out to her whenever I need a safe, loving home for my pets to stay.”

“Ru far exceeded our expectations. Numerous changes to our reservation were handled graciously. Our pet was spoiled. Ru sent regular update with pictures which was so nice to get. Mu Shu has made a new friend. I highly recommend Ru as a pet sitter. I will use her services in the future”

“Michelle was an awesome caregiver for our boxer! Bonnie loved her time with Michelle, and we knew Bonnie was in the best hands possible while we were away from home....Thank you, Michelle!”
“Kiana was amazing She make sure she sent lot of updates along with pictures! Kiana understood how hard is was for me to leave my baby for the first time and keep me at ease! She is definitely part of the family now! Anytime I have to travel I know he'll be okay with his now "Auntie" ...lol”

“Our dog had the BEST time at Ashley's! He was there for a week and made new friends; both human and canine. He was well cared for and enjoyed himself immensely. Thank you Ashley.”

About: I’m 23 years old and I have 2 dogs. One is 7 and the other is 1 year old. I got them both when they were puppies so I’ve had dog experience for 7 years now. I like to take them for walks daily if weather is permitting as well as play fetch. I am a CNA but I do home care so my schedule is flexible, I can work mornings or nights. I love doing Outdoor activities. I have a nice fenced in back yard for them to run around and get their energy out. So far I’ve taught my dogs how to sit, shake, dance, and high five with both paws. I want to continue to teach them more tricks. I’m sure my dogs are looking forward to having more buddies to play with!
“Ms Vicki was wonderful with our older dog Poppy! This was the first time ever that our Poppy was separated from us and we were worried. However, Ms Vicki sent us a lot of updates and pictures to ease our minds. When we saw our Poppy’s smiling face, then we knew that she was well taken care of! Poppy is now home with treats and a happy attitude… no stress at all for her! THANK YOU MS VICKI!”

About: I’ve always had dogs and love caring for animals. I lost my beloved dog and I miss her wildly. Spending time with dogs allows me to honor that bond and brings me genuine joy; I truly enjoy getting to know each animal unique personality. I treat every animal woth the same kindness, patience and love I gave to my own dog. I have a very flexible schedule and I can give pets the attention, supervision and companionship they deserve 24/7! I don’t work so I’m completely free to take care of your fur babies. We travel extensively in our motorhome, but we are based in Michigan. Our Michigan home has an acre of woods for the dog to enjoy. There are no roads nearby and it is very safe and quiet.
“Our Happy had a very successful and positive stay with Tracy. As a first time user of Rover, we were very fortunate to find Tracy! She arranged a meet and greet, explained her set up, introduced her family and pets to us and our dog, and answered many questions for us (this was Happy's first boarding experience). All went very well, she sent daily reports and fun pictures. This allowed us to enjoy our time away even more, knowing our pup was in good hands (and laps) 😊. We plan to reach out to Tracy each time we need boarding for our Happy, highly recommend!”

“Taylor is a doll! She very friendly and kind! My (4) cats acted as if I was never gone! This was my first time using Rover and Taylor and I am very impressed. I would highly recommend Taylor! She is going to be my “go to” person as my cat sitter! I am so happy because I have peace of mind! We all know how important that is for our Fur Babies! 😊”

“Heather was excellent and took care of our dog and cats while we were out of state for 10 days. That being said i will only accept crate trained dogs(for their safety) they need to be able to be crated safely while we are away for a short or longer amount of time. There are no cats or dogs here (unless confirmed by you that its okay to board at the same time as another families pet) so you won't have to worry about your pet getting along with anyone else while they are here. Be sure to check your collars and leashes of any wear and tears before dropping them off💛 tell me about your dog and we will see if it will be a good fit🧡
About: Hi! I’m Ashley, and I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. My stepdad was the head of animal control, which taught me a lot about animal behavior, safety, and compassion at a young age. I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently share my heart (and couch!) with two of my own—Sassy, my sweet 17-year-old dachshund who I’ve had since 2011, and Oakley, a playful 6-year-old lab I adopted from the local animal shelter. I understand the unique needs of both senior dogs and high-energy pups, and I treat every animal in my care like family. Whether your pet needs gentle senior support, active playtime, or just some extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help with dependable, loving care. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I work from home most of the week, which allows me to give my dogs plenty of attention, potty breaks, and playtime throughout the day. On the days I’m in the office, I’m only five minutes from home, so I’m able to come back easily to let my dogs out and check in on them. Their well-being is always a top priority, and I structure my day to make sure they’re comfortable and cared for—I’d do the same for yours! I care for pets in whatever way is most comfortable for them. I follow your instructions closely to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. If your pet loves their kennel, that’s perfectly fine—but if they prefer to cuddle up in bed, I’m more than happy to share the extra snuggles! Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding routines, or just relaxing on the couch, I do my best to make every pet feel safe, loved, and right at home.
About: We are a Christian home with a very active family! I’m thankful that my job allows me to spend most of my days at home with the kids and dog. Our dog is very friendly and loves new visitors. She’s smaller, but loves the big dogs best! My daughter on the other hand loves the smaller dogs. We will happily welcome them all! My dog and I frequent the dog parks, hiking trails, beaches and walks through the town. I used to be a former 4-H member with my childhood dog, so I’ve got many years experience with training and showing. My love and patience is huge for dogs. I prefer a dog to be kennel trained, and come with a crate but an open to discussion. I am very flexible and I will most certainly work with you with whatever you may need. Look forwarding to meeting you and your pup. We are home the majority of our days, tending to our hobby farm, and enjoying time outside. We have a very flexible schedule, and are willing to accommodate. The dogs are always fed separate, and separated when I leave! Pets are allowed on beds, and couches. They will get lots of time outside with us.
“Vicki's Doggy day care was perfect! This was our first experience through Rover and we are super happy! Vicki sent updates and pictures, which our kids loved! She was super personable and kind! She even let my 2 younger kiddos play with her pups when we got back to pick up our dog! He didnt even want to come with us, he wanted to stay. Thank you so much!”

About: HI, my name is Lenore, - My love for animals began when I was very young... - A few years ago, my Sheltie, Spencer... at 10 wk old, was already highly intelligent, and so full of love. In 3 days time, was house trained, and enrolled in Puppy Pre-School at a local PETSMART. He was such a quick learner, sitting and staying in no time! - Years later, my youngest Son and I, owned registered AKC, Siberian Huskies, and raised and sold 4 litters of puppies. Such fun. - a few other animals I've cared for; dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, bearded dragons, fish, eels, a chinchilla, pet snakes....but said no to a tarantula! Just can't do that one!! - thank you ahead of time for your consideration, you will NOT regret putting your trust in me. - Calm, and easy going are my characteristics, as i have plenty of time, and a big heart, to devote to caring for your companion, friend and family member!! Also being a loving & giving person, my priority would be, to fully enjoy caring for your dog, or pet... fulfilling a desire in me to again have a dog in the house, to care for, to spend time with, talk to, & treat 'royally' (spoil) :)) enjoying every second of the blessing. I will take only one dog at a time unless you have two, who know each other, and get along. That way, I can & will devote lots of extra TLC for your best friend...and will definitely treat them as if they were my own, with utmost of value and importance, how they deserve! Thank You lenore My availability for Your Dearest Companion is 24/7. They will have my undevided loving attention. I truly care and will treat them as my own! About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was young. I love dogs unconditionally and love to play with them, I feed them when needed, I can give baths, and I love to take them on walks. My friends and family have relied on me to dog-sit whenever I was available to do so. I’m currently an MSW student and work part time at the moment. Wednesdays and Fridays will typically be completely free all day. Monday, Tuesdays, and Thursdays I work till 5 PM in Grand Rapids. If services are in Newaygo I’m free at 6 PM once I’m back! I LOVE dogs so this is more of a side thing since I just genuinely enjoy playing and taking care of pups :) I have a fenced in yard and a very playful energetic dog. He is very sweet but he is like our baby so we don’t like to bring other dogs in just because he can get jealous and we don’t like to risk it.

About: I am an animal lover. I have had cats all my life, and dogs for most of it. Big, small, furry, I can help you! At the moment I work remotely and will soon start as a substitute teacher, so I anticipate having a fair amount of free time on my hands. I have been caring for cats, dogs for over 30 years (I'm 35 and I've been doing it my entire life). I would love to play tug-o-war, fetch, snuggle with kitty, or whatever they want to do!

About: My daughter and I are dog sitting for two reasons -- we flat out love dogs and my daughter is saving for college. While supporting my daughter's entrepreneurial spirit your dog will get a vacation of a lifetime. Without getting too deep into my resume, here are some highlights: -Handled five police dogs. 1000's of deployments. -Master Trainer for the International Police Work Dog Association. -Developed and taught a unique dog safety program. Have presented the hands on program from everyone to 1000's of second graders to regional UPS drivers. -Recognized expert witness in court on dog tracking, aggression, training, and deployment. -Over 75 nationally published articles on dog obedience, housing, behavior, training, etc. -Tested, certified, and trained working dogs from nearly all 50 states and several countries. (This year I've had dog teams travel to my home from Montana, Florida, Iowa, etc for assistance). I do all this because I simply love interacting with dogs. The love has spread to my 13 year old daughter. I currently have a very fun, young, and goofy dog -- a Vizsla named "Ranger." He clearly isn't a working dog and isn't a picture of obedience perfection. (I only mention this to let you know that despite my resume your dog doesn't have to be perfect and is coming into a very fun and loving household!) We've truly been a dog centered household for 20 years. My wife is a literal Saint! My private dog training rates, and I've turned down much more work than I've accepted, runs 10x the Rover.com rate we are charging. This is truly a venture that partners up youth business and the love of dogs. Long live Capitalism, dogs, and the USA!
“My dog is pretty anxious when it comes to new people/being around people when I’m not present, but Jasmine is so great with him! She was able to meet him prior to becoming his dog walker and he loved her instantly.”

“Taylor was amazing! Yesterday was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous about my pup being home alone... Taylor called me at work (per my request) so that I could go over how to get into my house, etc. and she calmed my nerves too :) when she got there, he had tore up his mattress pad in his kennel- she cleaned it up so that he couldn’t eat it. She then walked him, took pictures for me and played with him enough to tire him out for a bit. She was so good with him anc it was so appreciated! ❤️❤️”

“So communicative and took lots of pics! I was so nervous and new to this and Kelsey was great and patient with me and my pup! Will definitely use her for future sitter needs!”

About: Having experience in taking care of animals since I was young and going on to intern at a vet clinic and being a member of FFA, I have learned to have compassion and love to take care of animals of all shapes, sizes, and breeds. I am currently working weekends, so I'll have plenty of time to play and have interactive fun with pets during the week days and am willing to accommodate whatever they need. With a fenced in lawn I offer a secure and loving home away from home for your furry companion. Prioritizing their safety and well-being in a calm environment with experienced, trustworthy care.
About: I have been around animals my whole life and am not afraid to get my hands dirty if I have to! If you need a pet sitter who will run your hyper dog around the yard for hours to get them to go to sleep, I'm your girl:) I have experience mainly in shepherds and larger dogs since I have been watching them since I was about 14 and grew up with 3 shepherds and a lab. That said, I can handle all dog sizes and cats if you need me to! I had a Miniature Schnauzer for over 10 years as well so I'm comfortable around smaller and elderly pets if needed. Not to mention, I have experience in caring for other animals such as guinea pigs:) I also used to volunteer at the local humane society so any age of dog I can handle. I have a full time job throughout the week but I have plenty of time to do pet care! Especially on weekends & overnight stays. I will gladly try to work around my schedule to get all your pet needs:) I have been overnight pet-sitting for about 10 years and have fallen in love with it. I love spending as much time with the animals as possible so they can get used to me and know it's okay to put their trust in me. I treat any pet like it is my own so you have no need to worry about if they are getting enough attention or not!

I look forward to caring for your pets and/or walking your dog.
About: My family and I have always had pets. Mainly Dogs and Cats, I was able to grow up around Terriers, Retrievers, Rottweilers, Bulldogs, and Mixed Breeds. Each pet is a member of the family. Currently, I am a student at Ferris State working part-time. Able to spend lots of time and give lots of care to pets. On Weekdays I am free almost every evening. At my apartment complex, we have two dog areas as well as a connection area for the Ferris State disc golf course. I am willing to travel to the parks in Big Rapids to give your dog all the attention and fun! The same for cats, I am willing to make sure my home is suitable for all.
“Miracle is exceptionally responsible and compassionate! We had a death in the family and unexpectedly needed help while being in a town where we didn't know anyone. Having Miracle help was truly a blessing! She showed up on time, kept us updated throughout her visit, and was so accommodating with all of my silly over-planning (grief means increased emotions and Miracle was so patient and kind with me!). Thank you so much, Miracle! Our whole family is so grateful for you!”

About: I have had a dog since I was 3 years old. I have dog sat for a variety of people back in Montana and in Michigan. I'm super excited to meet new people and dogs! I also get along with other animals as well. Growing up I had pigs, chickens, horses, and a dog. I have dog sat for other families since I was 13 and have been dog walking since I was 10 just for neighbor dogs. I have dog sat a three month old puppy for 3 months while his mom went out of the country. My schedule is pretty open and flexible. If you need to know anything else just let me know I'm glad to answer any questions. I love me some doggy time 😊😊 I am currently working full time first shift but outside of that I can spend as much time as need with the pets.

“Caroline did an amazing job caring for our dog again. It’s always hard to leave him behind when we go on trips, but she makes it so much easier. We know he’s being well cared for. We highly recommend her and will always reach out to her when we need someone to watch our dog. ❤️”

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have three dogs, all of whom I brought home at eight weeks old and personally raised and trained. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I enjoy—it’s a lifelong passion. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, from Chihuahuas to Pit Bulls to Alaskan Malamutes and everything in between. Over the years, I have provided pet care for neighbors, friends, colleagues, and clients, and I understand the importance of treating every dog with patience, kindness, and individualized care. While working as a home health care aide, I was often entrusted with caring for my clients’ pets, ensuring they were fed, exercised, and comfortable while their owners received care. I also volunteered as a dog walker with the Humane Society of West Michigan, where I gained experience working with dogs of varying personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I am comfortable administering medications, following detailed feeding plans and dietary restrictions, and adapting to each dog’s unique routine. I am also certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR, giving pet owners added peace of mind that their companions are in capable hands. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, active playtime, or simply spending time with someone who genuinely loves dogs, I am committed to providing safe, dependable, and compassionate care while you’re away. As a devoted dog owner of three, caring for animals is an integral part of my daily life, and I extend that same level of attention, responsibility, and affection to every pet in my care. I am fully comfortable handling all aspects of daily dog care, including feeding, walking, potty breaks, enrichment, and playtime. My flexible schedule allows me to be home for most of the day throughout the week, as well as on weekends, providing consistent supervision and companionship. I also have the option to work from home when additional attention or frequent potty breaks are needed. In my household, pets are rarely left alone for extended periods. On typical days when I am away from home, my dogs are alone no longer than 5–6 hours. In many cases, my boyfriend may be home when I am not, and when both of us are working, we are generally away for no more than 4–5 hours at a time. If both of us are expected to be away for longer than two hours during a pet’s care period, I communicate this in advance to ensure transparency and appropriate planning. I maintain a consistent but flexible routine that prioritizes feeding, hydration, exercise, and enrichment. Dogs always have access to fresh water and are fed twice daily (or as often as your individual dog requires). Potty breaks are provided frequently based on each dog’s individual needs and cues; however, I am more than willing to follow a more structured schedule if that is what your pet is accustomed to. I am also experienced with administering medications, including monthly heartworm and flea prevention, and take great care to ensure all medications are given accurately and on time. While my household follows a generally relaxed routine, I understand that many pets thrive on structure. I am fully comfortable adhering to detailed instructions and incorporating established routines into my daily care. During the days I am available according to my Rover schedule, I am home for the majority of the day. Any brief absences are typically limited to short appointments, during which my boyfriend may assist with supervision, or pets will be safely confined if appropriate. Above all, I prioritize safety, supervision, and communication. Your pet will never be left without attentive care. Whether in my home or yours, I ensure consistent supervision, engagement, and affection so that every animal feels secure, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their time with me. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I share my home with three friendly dogs, each with their own unique personality: an energetic and affectionate Boston Terrier, a more reserved but sweet Boston Terrier, and a laid-back Chihuahua who enjoys staying close by. They are well-socialized and can provide companionship for visiting dogs when appropriate. My home is set up to accommodate a variety of needs and routines. I have three individual crates with comfortable bedding available for dogs who are crate trained or require confinement, and you are always welcome to bring your own crate if it helps your pet feel more at home. While my own dogs enjoy free access to the house and are allowed on the furniture, I am happy to follow your pet’s established rules and routines, including using gates or designated areas if needed. Although my yard is not physically fenced, safety is always a top priority. My dogs are never outdoors unsupervised, and the same standard of care applies to every pet I watch. I have a large, open yard that provides plenty of space for exercise, and I regularly walk dogs on a leash around the property and in the neighborhood. If your dog is most comfortable on a leash or tie-out while outside, I am more than happy to accommodate those preferences. All of my dogs are current on their vaccinations and receive routine veterinary care. I pay close attention to changes in their health, behavior, and overall well-being, and I bring that same level of attentiveness to every pet in my care. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will treat both your home and your companion with the utmost respect. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, training, household rules, and daily routines to ensure your pet experiences as little disruption as possible while you are away. At bedtime, I am happy to follow whatever sleeping arrangement your pet is accustomed to, whether that means sleeping in a crate, on their own bed, or sharing a room with me. My goal is to maintain their normal routine so they feel secure and comfortable. My boyfriend and I live together, but I will be your pet’s primary caregiver. He may occasionally assist if I need to step away briefly, providing additional supervision and support, but all communication and primary care responsibilities remain with me. For added peace of mind, I am certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR. You can trust that your pet will receive attentive, compassionate, and responsible care throughout their stay.
