“Dan and Kelly were amazing with our two dogs!! This is our first time using Rover and also our first time leaving our pups with someone who wasn’t our family, they are 8 & 9. Though we were fairly short notice, Dan helped walk us through the Rover process, allowed us to do a meet and greet ahead of time, and was very flexible with drop off and pick up. Not knowing how our dogs would do as a first time away from us with non-family, there was a lot of anxiety on our side and it all was put to rest with videos and pictures of our pups having a great time there! There’s no doubt our dogs have some quirks but Dan and Kelly took amazing care of them and made them/us feel very welcome! Their house is very pet friendly with the toys, beds, and large fenced in backyard. So grateful to have found them, and strongly recommend them for your furry family members!”

About: I’m 23 years old and I have 2 dogs. One is 7 and the other is 1 year old. I got them both when they were puppies so I’ve had dog experience for 7 years now. I like to take them for walks daily if weather is permitting as well as play fetch. I am a CNA but I do home care so my schedule is flexible, I can work mornings or nights. I love doing Outdoor activities. I have a nice fenced in back yard for them to run around and get their energy out. So far I’ve taught my dogs how to sit, shake, dance, and high five with both paws. I want to continue to teach them more tricks. I’m sure my dogs are looking forward to having more buddies to play with!

About: I’ve been in environmental veterinary science In my high school years and have learned and taken care of a variety of animals from chicken, to goats. I have loved and cared for dogs for more than 35 years, and I previously provided pet care through Rover in Washington State before our family moved back to Michigan. Now that we are settled in our country home, we are excited to welcome dogs again. Our current dogs, Daphne and Dusty, are both rescues and have very different personalities. About: We are a Christian home with a very active family! I’m thankful that my job allows me to spend most of my days at home with the kids and dog. Our dog is very friendly and loves new visitors. She’s smaller, but loves the big dogs best! My daughter on the other hand loves the smaller dogs. We will happily welcome them all! About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was young. I love dogs unconditionally and love to play with them, I feed them when needed, I can give baths, and I love to take them on walks. My friends and family have relied on me to dog-sit whenever I was available to do so. I’m currently an MSW student and work part time at the moment. Wednesdays and Fridays will typically be completely free all day. Monday, Tuesdays, and Thursdays I work till 5 PM in Grand Rapids. If services are in Newaygo I’m free at 6 PM once I’m back! I LOVE dogs so this is more of a side thing since I just genuinely enjoy playing and taking care of pups :) I have a fenced in yard and a very playful energetic dog. He is very sweet but he is like our baby so we don’t like to bring other dogs in just because he can get jealous and we don’t like to risk it.

The love has spread to my 13 year old daughter. I currently have a very fun, young, and goofy dog -- a Vizsla named "Ranger." He clearly isn't a working dog and isn't a picture of obedience perfection. (I only mention this to let you know that despite my resume your dog doesn't have to be perfect and is coming into a very fun and loving household!) We've truly been a dog centered household for 20 years. My wife is a literal Saint! My private dog training rates, and I've turned down much more work than I've accepted, runs 10x the Rover.com rate we are charging. About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud rescue dog parent with over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. My two pups (a spunky senior Jack Russell/Heeler mix and a mid-aged Husky/Heeler) keep me active and on my toes, and I frequently care for my sister-in-law's dogs as well. I’m experienced with dogs who need a little extra TLC, including those on special diets, daily medications, or unique routines. Whether you need someone to drop in for a quick potty break or want your dog to feel at home while you're away, I treat every pet like family—with patience, attention, and love. I'm flexible! I currently work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule during the days. I work about ~10-15 hours a week and don't have a set 9-5 type schedule. I can do my work whenever, wherever! I have a fenced in yard and two dogs at home. I treat my dogs like they are my BABIES - they get a ton of attention, pets, belly rubs, walks, and kisses. We do a lot of walks in our neighborhood and like to bring our pets on adventures.
About: I am an animal lover. I have had cats all my life, and dogs for most of it. Big, small, furry, I can help you! At the moment I work remotely and will soon start as a substitute teacher, so I anticipate having a fair amount of free time on my hands. About: I’m 23 years old and I have 2 dogs. One is 7 and the other is 1 year old. I got them both when they were puppies so I’ve had dog experience for 7 years now. I like to take them for walks daily if weather is permitting as well as play fetch. I am a CNA but I do home care so my schedule is flexible, I can work mornings or nights. I love doing Outdoor activities. I have a nice fenced in back yard for them to run around and get their energy out. So far I’ve taught my dogs how to sit, shake, dance, and high five with both paws. I want to continue to teach them more tricks. I’m sure my dogs are looking forward to having more buddies to play with!
