About: My wife, Julie, and I have been married for 14 years and have four kids ranging from 6 year old to 17. We have a four-year old Cavalier King Charles named Theodore, and a six-year old cat named Raven. Being a military family, we move every few years and as a result I had to explain to my children we couldn't get any more pets. My wife and I love our animals, but there is little doubt that my children would replace Julie and I for another dog in a heartbeat. Julie is a stay-at-home mother and we homeschool our children. So there is always somebody to keep your pup some company. Growing up I always had multiple dogs and cats. As a matter of fact, shortly after I moved out my mother adopted A BUNCH of boxers. Julie's mother always came home with new animals, despite her father's protest. As a result, I think we gravitate towards the unconditional love that these sweet animals give. Our children would play, pet, and most likely argue over who gets to feed your dog. Having either Julie or myself home 24/7 your pet would be able to go outside whenever needed. Our dog, Ted, is friendly as can be with people, dogs, cats, and apparently chickens too. Our cat, Raven, is as sweet as can be and has the ability to disappear if uncomfortable, so I don't think she would mind having a visitor. Enjoy yourself knowing your pup is in good hands. We are always home. Our routine consists of cooking three meals a day and ensuring the kids and pets get the attention and exercise they need. I have a fenced yard and a companion ready to play. We can feed on a schedule or crate if desired. We understand everyone does things differently, so please let us know what you would like and we will accommodate. We are home bodies. Pet care would be seamless with our routine. We homeschool so the kids get little breaks each hour to reset. This could be outside play/potty breaks. We have a baby gate in the front entryway to prevent any pets from taking advantage of an open door. We also crate trained our dog so a small crate is available.

About: I've had dogs and cats since I was born and familiar with all types of breeds. My wife and I volunteer at a dog rescue and the Humane Society and understand how important animals are to their owners. We also try and get shy or quirky pets as they need special loving but we want to be able to help all animals I'm retired so my schedule is very flexible. I can work any day at any time and have no issue with doing things during "off" hours I have a fenced yard with 3 dogs (2 big mutts and 1 small chihuahua mix) who are very friendly with other dogs.
