“Ann was amazing. She kept me updated daily with pictures and fun things she was doing with my pup. I could tell my Marley was happy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend. 😀”

“Deanna was very communicative and flexible! It was my first time away from my dog and the updates were very much appreciated. She went above and beyond to accommodate my dogs needs and even was able to extend boarding last minute due to my canceled flight.”

“Snehal was so gracious taking my needy kiddo. She welcomed Lila with open arms. Daily Snehal sent many videos and pictures with many updates. Knowing that your kiddo is being cared for like one of her was the most comforting gesture while we were on vacation. Snehal even sacrificed her sleep so she could let my kiddo out every few hours. I would absolutely let her and her family care for Lila again to be back with Lila’s other “family.””

“Alexander and Taline were fantastic! They sent many pictures and videos per day and had great communication. Our pup got lots of cuddles and attention the entire stay! We will definitely book again!”

“We are very thankful for Betsy and her husband for their care and patience with our girl Kara. She is a sweet little rescue who is very shy and anxious at first. It takes her time to feel comfortable and trust people. For us attention and affection are as important as food and safety. We feel that Kara was in very good hands and received all that. Plus running around the big yard was a real treat for her. We will definitely ask Betsy to take care of Kara again.”

“Sabrina was great! Our cat and dog were very comfortable with her and enjoyed a nice stay with her. I really appreciated the regular check ins and concern she showed for each one’s comfort level. When we need a sitter in the future, she will be our first check for availability!”

“Very kind, communicative and flexible with changed drop off and pick up. bagel enjoyed his time with Fernando’s pups and we are very grateful for our first Rover weekend!”

“Skylar was awesome! Great communication, lots of pictures of my pup throughout his stay, and I could tell it was a positive experience for him. Highly recommend”

“Diana was the absolute best!!! Communication was amazing, she kept me updated with included pictures of my little demon. However, the best part of the entire arrangement, was that is was clearly visible that my little precious was having SO MUCH FUN. He was visible happy and comfortable in his environment. THANK YOU SO MUCH DIANA!!! Taz will definitely be back!!!!”

“John was great with Luna! He walked her and kept her safe and happy. He sent pictures and videos during her stay with him. He gave her the daily medication she needs por her allergies. If you have an active puppy like mine John is a great fit for you. Sure I will book again for future occasions.”

“Our Jupiter had the best time with Lorena. She was SO wonderful and showed him so much love and gave him all the attention. He went for lots of walkies and got lots of snuggles. He’s a senior pup and she made me feel confident knowing all his special instructions were followed. She’s a gem, and sent so many pictures which made me very happy to see!! 10/10, thank you Lorena and your family for taking such good care of Jupiter ❤️”

About: I've been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. When I was 4, my family got a dog who quickly became my best friend. For the next 15 years, I was deeply involved in her care—feeding her, taking her on walks, playing with her, and doing everything I could to keep her happy and healthy. As she got older, I also learned how to administer medication and provide extra love and patience during her senior years. In addition to my own dog, I’ve pet-sat for neighbors while they were on vacation, giving me the chance to care for dogs with different personalities and needs. I also recently adopted a cat, which has given me even more experience with animals of different care routines. On top of that, I grew up raising chickens and ducks, so I’m comfortable caring for a wide variety of animals. What sets me apart is my lifelong experience, genuine love for animals, and dedication to making every pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I recently graduated and currently have a very flexible schedule. Aside from occasional babysitting, I have plenty of availability to dedicate to pet care. I'm available during both daytime and evening hours and can easily accommodate your pets routine, whether that means drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, medication administration, or overnight care. When I’m pet sitting, whether it's for a dog, cat, or any other furry friend, my top priority is making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I want both you and your pet to have the best possible experience. I believe a meet-and-greet beforehand is super helpful for building trust, getting to know your pet’s personality, and making sure everyone feels comfortable. In your home or mine, I stick closely to your instructions, especially when it comes to feeding times, portion sizes, and any special dietary or medical needs. For dogs, regular walks, bathroom breaks, and playtime are a must. For cats, I make sure they have clean litter, food and water refilled regularly, and attention based on their comfort level, whether that means cuddles or giving them space. I also keep the environment clean, calm, and pet-friendly at all times. And of course, I’ll send you regular updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and in good hands. My goal is to create a safe, fun, and stress-free environment for your pet and peace of mind for you!
“My little Lily was very well taken care of and loved. I will be using Annie again! She treated her like one of her own kids and sent updates and pictures while I was away.”

“Weston watched our staffie for 8 days and our dog had the best time. They went on hikes and had tons of fun. He has a great property that any dog would love and did an awesome job keeping us updated throughout the stay. We feel so relieved and grateful to find great reliable help for our dog nearby. Thank you so much and you’ll def be seeing Lou again!”

“Our fur baby was so excited and took right to Haya as soon she met her. Haya went above and beyond care if Little Girl. I told a friend that our fur baby was staying at a 5 star resort staying with Haya. Thank you Haya for being so conscientious in caring for our pet 🐕.”

“Angelica was great! I was able to book her last minute and she was also flexible with my travel schedule! She sent me updates of Oliver and I could tell he enjoyed his stay!”

“Molly is amazing! She loves our Chuy as one of her own, and he is very happy to be part of the family while he is there. Molly is flexible and accommodating with scheduling and communicative while I am away. I couldn’t ask for anything more.”

“Karen is an amazing sitter for your furry friend!! My dog loves her and runs to her whenever I come to drop him off. She is very communicative and she sends lots of pics and videos to help u not miss ur pup so much. Absolutely recommend!!!”

Our fur baby was so excited and took right to Haya as soon she met her. Haya went above and beyond care if Little Girl. I told a friend that our fur baby was staying at a 5 star resort staying with Haya. Thank you Haya for being so conscientious in caring for our pet 🐕.

Yalda was great with both of our dogs. She provided daily updates and cared for babies as if they were her own. Our Goldie is 100% blind and partially deaf, but we felt very comfortable leaving her with Yalda and hope to use her again if the need arrises. She was fantastic!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
