About: I'm a lifelong dog lover with years of experience caring for friends’ and family members’ pups of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve looked after everything from 14-week-old puppies to senior rescues. I’ve also worked with dogs who need medication, have special needs like blindness or anxiety, or just have tons of energy to burn. I approach every dog with patience, compassion, and personalized care — as if they were my own. As a full-time student with a light class schedule — just a few hours in the evenings Monday through Thursday — I’m available nearly all day, every day. This flexibility allows me to provide consistent care, timely check-ins, and plenty of attention for your pup throughout the day. When boarding dogs in my home, I provide a peaceful, dog-friendly space where your pup can relax and feel at ease. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time and live in a quiet, walkable neighborhood that's perfect for regular walks and sniff breaks. I maintain a consistent routine, supervise playtime, and ensure your dog always has a cozy spot to rest — just like they would at home. Being welcomed into someone’s home to care for their pet is a responsibility I take seriously. I’m clean, respectful, and always follow care instructions closely. I create a calm, safe environment for each dog, keep communication open with regular updates, and do everything I can to make sure both you and your pup feel secure and supported.

About: I volunteer at the APA animal shelter where I walk and play with all types of dogs. I have also taken care of a wide variety of animals including lizards, fish, kittens (2 weeks old), puppies, and turtles! I’m currently working part-time at a restaurant so I have plenty of time to spend time with your animals and make sure they are well taken care of! I give all pets love and affection with different pets needing different things! For dogs I love to take them for walks and give them lots of belly scratches, and for cats I love to play with them and if they like, pet them!

“Latasha was wonderful! From the beginning she came for a meet and greet and got down on the floor with my Percy! She asked very specific questions about his routine and wanted to ensure he was as comfortable as possible. During her stay she was very interactive with Percy. Took him on outings and walks and made sure he had plenty of play time and attention. On a night of a storm she let Percy sleep in bed with her to help comfort him!! Any concerns she had she messaged me immediately. She was great about sending updates and pictures to make sure I felt he was in good hands which definitely decreased my worries. Latasha treated my home with respect and left my home just as she found it. She even helped me with my newly planted garden to ensure it stayed watered while I was away. About: I have taken care of animals since I was about six years old. I always watched neighbor's animals and cared for them as well as family and friends. I have no issues with giving medications orally to an animal and getting them their exercise in a backyard, going for a walk, or even going to the dog park to go have fun. My goal in life is to pursue a career working with animals while caring for my children. I am currently working 9-5 while I am going through college. Tuesdays, I am not available from 2 PM to 315, but before and after that I am available. I am also available before work and after work to care for your pets. I am comfortable with using a dog lead if your pet requires it or just taking them on a walk if you do not have a fenced in backyard. If you have animals that have separate foods, I am perfectly willing to separate them in different locations in order for them to eat their own as I have to do this with my cats given 2 of them have urinary issues.

Daily care includes plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and calm periods for rest. We are outside several times a day for 1-2 hours depending on the weather. I keep a clean, pet-friendly environment and follow any special care instructions you provide closely. My goal is to make sure your furry friend feels secure, loved, and right at home while you’re away!

“Colleen stood out immediately from other caregivers because of her focus on details and learning everything necessary to provide the best care for our dogs during her pre stay visit. She asked many thorough questions and took faithful notes about our pups many needed medications, special diet, health conditions and outdoor routines. We could tell how important it was to her that our dogs receive the right amount of attention and the least possible disruption during our absence. Because our dogs are seniors and may react if left alone for too long, she cheerfully arranged her schedule to stay throughout the day and overnight. Colleen also asked about our home, any expected visitors, watering of plants, how we wanted the mail and packages handled, along with any areas the pups were not allowed. She made sure she had our vet's information, along with a nearby neighbor she could call if needed. Colleen also sent many pictures and videos so we could see for ourselves that they were having a good time and in good hands. Her professionalism gave us the confidence and comfort level to enjoy our time away from home. As a welcome bonus, linens were washed, dried and dishwasher had been run.
