About: After nearly 15 years of caring for my own beloved small dog through every stage of life, I understand how important it is to know your dog is safe, comfortable, and genuinely loved while you’re away. I have extensive hands-on experience with small and senior dogs, as well as shy/nervous dogs, including medication routines, special needs, changing mobility levels, and dogs who simply need a little extra patience and attention. I’m especially interested in providing a calm, home-like environment rather than a busy kennel experience. My goal is to care for your dog like they’re temporarily part of my family — with plenty of attention, cuddles, walks, and time to relax. I prefer caring for one dog at a time so they receive lots of individual attention. Note - at this time I can only accept hypoallergenic or low shedding breeds that are under 40 pounds and are very comfortable walking on a leash. I work from home but I’m selective with my availability and only open my calendar when I know I can give your dog plenty of time and attention. I enjoy having a dog around the house and will make sure they get lots of companionship, walks, playtime, cuddles and downtime based on their normal routine. I prefer to care for one household’s dog at a time so they can feel comfortable and get plenty of individual attention. I’ll follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, medication and bedtime routines as closely as possible. I’m especially comfortable with small and senior dogs and understand that some pets need a little extra patience, supervision and TLC. I live on a small, quiet cul-de-sac but please note, I do not have a fenced in yard, so dogs must be very comfortable walking on a leash.

After Burying my 17 yr old dog, mark, in 2020- and then, my 14 yr old dog- Greg … This year… it seems right that-maybe I could shed a little Love and care on a neighbor’s furry Loved one- like Family. My cats miss their Doggy Brothers- So.. even if Your’ dogs don’t necessarily get on with cats-… That’s ok. I-keep my cats safe- and have a 7 ft sheltered cat tree- so I’ll see to it- that House Runs on Drama free Love- & hugs! My home is tidy and homey - meaning- You and Your’ animals should Both Feel welcome, and cozy- at all times. I have NEVER - in my 53 yrs- of raising dogs , cats, horses, goats , and a pig- EVER -… smacked, spanked, “ rubbed an animals NOSE - into any of their “ potty boo boos” I just Do Not-believe in Cruelty. Not Ever- under Any Circumstances . It’s Proven to be WONDERFUL- I’m tellin ya! There are more than a couple handfuls of People who’ve described my animals as The Sweetest / and Greatest! “Julia is awesome! Our dog is very shy and sensitive, and I was so worried to leave her for 2 weeks. But Julia took great care of her and sent us daily picture to comfort the nervous owner. And I saw our dog Mango was getting comfortable and relaxed every day. About: I managed a facility where I was in charge of boarding dogs of all sizes and taking care of them for about 3 years. I also occasionally volunteer at animal shelters and I love each and every single dog so much! I’m trained in giving medication, bathing, feeding and taking care of the over all health of your dog. I also do well with most aggressive dogs. I’d love so much to meet your pets :) I work a full time job, and I am off every day by 2pm. My job is flexible, so I can also leave early whenever I want. I enjoy having lots of daylight left when I get off work so I can walk and take care of dogs! I have 2 dogs who LOVE making new friends. I have a big fenced backyard that is perfect for the pups to run around. We play outside often and go for lots of walks!
