About: I have 10+ years of experience with animals. Growing up by a dirt road in Alabama , we always had strays make their way to us. We took care of them until their next home. Weather it was dog, cats, goats or turtles etc. I was there to make sure they had a friend. I’ve taken college corses on training dogs although didn’t finish due to becoming a mother so im well educated in understanding dogs and able to tendbto thier needs/prefacence. We have a large backyard fenced, covered & partly enclosed patio & love to give. Animals are truly a wonderful being to have around and I want to teach my children the importance of them. Dogs of all sizes are welcomed although I do prefer them to be house/potty trained due to my youngest boys running around. I take my oldest son to library/park at times we can spend anywhere between 1-4 hours there (if a dog is leash trained very well I'm okay bringing them to the park with us & I pick up my youngest from his program at 3pm (right down the road) other than weekly/biweekly grocery/shopping trips, and random fun days, we are at the house. We treat your dog like our family so that means ofc they are allowed on the couch and we have a fenced in back yard & covered patio while we love to spend time outside so you can be assured majority of the time we will be right there beside em. I do have a cat who spends majority of the time in our bedroom.

About: I'm a lifelong dog lover with years of experience caring for friends’ and family members’ pups of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve looked after everything from 14-week-old puppies to senior rescues. I’ve also worked with dogs who need medication, have special needs like blindness or anxiety, or just have tons of energy to burn. I approach every dog with patience, compassion, and personalized care — as if they were my own. As a full-time student with a light class schedule — just a few hours in the evenings Monday through Thursday — I’m available nearly all day, every day. This flexibility allows me to provide consistent care, timely check-ins, and plenty of attention for your pup throughout the day. When boarding dogs in my home, I provide a peaceful, dog-friendly space where your pup can relax and feel at ease. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time and live in a quiet, walkable neighborhood that's perfect for regular walks and sniff breaks. I maintain a consistent routine, supervise playtime, and ensure your dog always has a cozy spot to rest — just like they would at home. Being welcomed into someone’s home to care for their pet is a responsibility I take seriously. I’m clean, respectful, and always follow care instructions closely. I create a calm, safe environment for each dog, keep communication open with regular updates, and do everything I can to make sure both you and your pup feel secure and supported.

About: I’ve been dealing with animals literally my whole life. I went to a technical school and I worked at a doggy daycare for 4yrs.Dogs are my passion/therapy. Im trying to save up enough to continue my education. I’m currently working as a part time dog groomer Mondays/Fridays, a little busier after holidays . I’m still available to do check ins every 2-4hrs for potty breaks on those days. My home is very spacious, plus I have a dog park within walking distance. I prefer dogs that’s kid friendly as I do have a toddler.

Ashley took great care of our family member. He was recently rescued and she was very accommodating and knowledgable about his timid personality. She was flexible with our last minute scheduling needs because we didn't even think that we were going to need doggy daycare while on vacation. I definitely recommend her!

Phoebe gets so excited when I say ‘let’s go for a ride’ because she knows this routine may include going to doggy daycare @ The Wolf Pack❤️. She gets to play with her doggie friends and gets quite a workout. A tired dog is a happy good dog. So thankful that we found Rachel! Awesomeness

I have used Shannon to care for my dogs 4 times now and every time has been great. Shannon is very accommodating and flexible, which I really like because my life is hectic. My dogs seem to love going there, they rush right in as soon as she opens the door. They are always good natured when I pick them up, which tells me that Shannon is treating them right. She sends me pictures throughout their stay and keeps me updated. I plan on using her every time I need a pet sitter. Finding someone reliable and dependable and caring is a real comfort to me when I have to leave my pets.

About: I have dog sat, fostered or owned dogs since I was 20. I have worked with many dogs that have anxiety, pets with behavioral issues and senior animals . I am very protective and loving. Your dog will be my main priority. I do this full time. Recently, my son moved home and has a five pound Pomapoo . Your pet must be friendly with small dogs. I walk daily and have a large fenced in yard for play. I dog sit full time. I’m generally only gone for a few hours at a time. I am willing to stay home if anxiety/ health issues develops. I have a fenced in yard and walk two miles every day. At your home I would provide daily exercise and stimulation. Lots of love.

Lauren was ABSOLUTELY great with King! He took to her right away and after the Meet and Greet, I was comfortable and convinced that King would be well looked after, and he was. Lauren is very attentive which is great since my fur baby is a Senior dog. You will not be disappointed if you book with her! Thanks Lauren!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Castle Point commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 716 sitters in Castle Point, 85% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
