Pet care experience
Loving, high energy, and bubbly
I’m absolutely obsessed with animals and have been caring for pets for 17 years! Over the years, I’ve cared for countless dogs in their own homes, welcomed pups into my home while their families were away, and worked with rescue organizations and foster dogs from time to time. I currently have one senior pup of my own, Bentley, an 11-year-old Whippet/Lab mix. He absolutely loves having doggy guests and is happiest when he has a friend around! I do have a part-time job that takes me away from home for approximately 1-3 hours at a time during the week. When boarding dogs, my fiance works a different shift, as well as my sister being available, we between them can provide additional check-ins when needed. I’m always upfront about my schedule so you know exactly what to expect. 🐶 Safety First Your pet’s safety is my absolute top priority. I’m a bit of a worrier when it comes to the animals in my care, which means I’m constantly keeping an eye on everyone! Dogs in my care are never left unattended together, whether they’re inside or outside, and all dogs are separated during meals. At night, friendly dogs are welcome to have free rein of the house..and if they end up sleeping on the bed surrounded by a pile of dogs, I certainly won’t complain! ❤️ I have a 42” metal kennel and mat available if your dog prefers or requires crate time, although it rarely gets used. I also have pet first-aid kits at home and in my car and am comfortable handling minor cuts, scrapes, and other basic pet-care situations. I have also personally administered insulin injections to a diabetic dog belonging to my best friend. 🏡 A Home Full of Dog Supplies I absolutely spoil my pets, so I’m well equipped for furry guests! We have multiple dog beds, food and water dishes, food risers, toys, treats, and plenty of tennis balls. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, and bedtime routines. The one exception is bones/long-lasting chews when multiple dogs are together. Bentley can become protective of them, so those are simply put away during group time. Safety first! ❤️ Rescue & Foster Experience I’ve also worked with rescues and occasionally foster dogs. If I have a foster or additional dog in my home during your pet’s stay, I will always let you know ahead of time. Any foster dogs staying in my home are required to be appropriately vaccinated, dog-friendly, and a good fit for a multi-dog environment. 📸 Communication I know how hard it can be to leave your pets behind, so I make communication a priority. I send daily photos and updates and stay in contact throughout your pet’s stay. If I’m away from the house, I’ll keep you informed about my schedule as well. My goal is for you to be able to relax and enjoy your time away knowing that your pets are safe, loved, and being treated like part of the family. 🐕 Meet Bentley! Bentley is my 11-year-old Whippet/Lab mix and resident senior gentleman. He’s an attention seeker who will probably decide you’re there specifically to throw a tennis ball for him rather than meet me and introduce yourself! 😂 He still enjoys playing, but these days he mostly prefers fetch, attention, and occasionally being chased around the yard. He is also a jumper, so consider yourself warned—wearing something nice or white when we meet may be a risky decision! 😉 Bentley has spent years around other dogs and loves having company. He’s very much the welcoming committee of our household. 🩺 Vaccinations & Preventatives For the safety of every animal in my care, all pets must be current on vaccinations and appropriate flea, tick, heartworm, and other parasite preventatives. We take walks and visit different areas, so keeping everyone protected against fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, worms, and other preventable illnesses is extremely important. Please note that while I take extensive precautions to maintain a clean and safe environment, I cannot be held responsible for viruses, parasites, or illnesses that an animal may contract despite appropriate preventative measures.

We've booked with Jennifer multiple times. She does a great job of sending updates throughout the stay and we always come home to happy and healthy pets.

Jennifer took good care of the dogs and house. The dogs both took to her really well. Wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Jennifer is amazing!!! She did an amazing job with our pups and our home. We were able to enjoy our vacation because we knew they were in such good hands. Our dogs are very needy/picky in their own ways so we always worry how they will do with new people, and they absolutely LOVED Jennifer! She sent lots of pictures and updates so we always knew how well they were doing, we will definitely be booking her again with future vacations!! Thank you Jennifer!!

Duke had a great time at Jennifer's. He was so tired when he got home from all the playing. Would definitely recommend Jennifer!

5 stars doesn’t touch it. Jennifer is the one you want. She loves and cares for your babies like her own. Daily updates and super responsive which helps with my anxiety and lots of pictures. We will forever use Jennifer anytime we need a pet sitter. I can’t say enough about her.

Jennifer was really great with Laila. She gave updates on how Laila was doing. She’s friendly and easy to talk to. I feel like she is knowledgeable of dogs and how to care for each one! I highly recommend using her to care for your fur babies!

Schedule
Lots of walking, mind game stimulations, and more! We wake up around 6:00 for our first morning potty break. We eat at about 7am until 7:45. Some dogs prefer to go out promptly after for another break. At 9am we take our first walk. Noon-3 is nap time. 3:30 another 1-3mile walk. 5pm dinner. After dinner is another break outside. 7pm another shorter walk. Bedtime is around 9pm. All pets will go outside to have one last break.

I take every safety precaution I can to make sure everyone is safe, especially during feedings. With the use of gates and rooms, everyone is separated until finished.

A typical day
We have a local dog park that we could visit and we take several daily walks around our neighborhood! The yard is a pretty good size so we'd play fetch a lot!

- I would like to know their temperment toward other dogs and humans. I need to know if they have ever bitten anyone. I need to know if there is a certain place that they do not like being touched at by humans. I also need to know if they are aggressive in any way, including while eating and relaxing.
