About: I love playing with cats and dogs to make sure they get the attention they deserve i will do do anything extra to help the owner like take out trash ect. Almost everyday when I'm not busy i make sure i take my feed my cats ol L Play with them using their toys and give lots of pets I make sure they are fed well i take them for walks if something is wrong i will contact the owner and i make sure they are safe.

“Heather is amazing! This is the second time that we hired her to watch our two dogs while we were away. Our 5 year-old border collie had (his first) grand mal seizure while outside with her and she was calm and reassuring all while protecting his head from the concrete. She reached out to ask me if he had ever had a seizure (which to our knowledge he had not had) and after talking I told her I would check our Ring camera to see if it recorded it. Sure enough the whole thing was recorded and we were so grateful with how well Heather handled Marlo. On top of that Heather had to clean up after our GSD had diarrhea in the house (likely stress) and worked hard to leave everything clean and neat. We highly recommend her and will definitely request Heather to stay here next time- but hopefully for a less eventful visit!”

About: I have been taking care of sweet, precious pups since I was 7 years old when my mom surprised me and my brother with a basset hound puppy after school. Her name was Roxanne. A couple years later, we rescued a 6-year-old basset hound, Brandi, and a few years later, we rescued a 1-year-old beagle mix, Misty, and adopted a basset hound puppy, Willow, who had just been born on a farm near our house. We treasured our sweet babies, cooking for them every day - hard-boiled eggs for breakfast and meat and veggies for dinner. And they lived long, happy lives. Brandi, Misty, and Willow all made it to about 15 years old! I just moved from Colorado to start my PhD in Public Health at WashU, and I can't wait to pick back up with dog sitting again! In Colorado, I was the honorary dog sitter at my church. One couple even flew me out to California a few times to continue caring for their sweet pup after they moved! Between my own dogs and others' dogs, I've taken care of dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors who need lots of support. I am a PhD student at WashU Bursky School of Public Health. This semester, I have a class on the Danforth campus on Tuesdays from 9am to 12pm, Wednesdays from 12pm-1pm, and Thursdays from 1pm-4pm. My research is remote. So, I have lots of flexibility to make sure your pups get their potty breaks and play time and walk time, even on days that I have class. And house sitting would work super well :) I am offering house sitting, check-ins, and walks. If I am house sitting, I will always stay the night to make sure your pets are safe and well taken care of. I will keep the outer doors locked and make sure I am able to hear your pets if they need me. I am also happy to sleep in the same room with them if that is your preference. I will make sure to follow whatever schedule your pets need, e.g., eating, medicine, walking. As far as check-ins and walks, I will make sure to respect whatever rules you have for the house (e.g., shoes off, doors locked). I'm also happy to give your dogs a bath when they need it!

She asked many thorough questions and took faithful notes about our pups many needed medications, special diet, health conditions and outdoor routines. We could tell how important it was to her that our dogs receive the right amount of attention and the least possible disruption during our absence. Because our dogs are seniors and may react if left alone for too long, she cheerfully arranged her schedule to stay throughout the day and overnight. Colleen also asked about our home, any expected visitors, watering of plants, how we wanted the mail and packages handled, along with any areas the pups were not allowed. She made sure she had our vet's information, along with a nearby neighbor she could call if needed. Colleen also sent many pictures and videos so we could see for ourselves that they were having a good time and in good hands. Her professionalism gave us the confidence and comfort level to enjoy our time away from home. As a welcome bonus, linens were washed, dried and dishwasher had been run. About: I have trained puppies, designed programs to solve behavior problems in adult dogs, cared for senior dogs, specializing in multi-dog households with a mix of all the above. I am currently designing software for a start-up idea so my schedule is very flexible. Ideal hours for day visits are between 8am - 9pm, overnight from 7pm - 9am “ish” and always available for emergencies. Different pets have different wants/needs so I will adapt my gameplan accordingly. Each visit will include some form of exercise, training and lots of love. My yard is fenced and my house is puppy-proofed. Lots of soft and shaded places to nap, inside and out. I use pest control and landscaping services so the yard is virtually free of stinging or biting insects and dangerous weeds or flowers. Clients can expect me to care for their pets and their property with utmost respect for house rules, privacy and courtesy.

My typical day with my dogs consists of waking up and going outside and just hanging out for a little, then I will give them breakfast and give them fresh water, after they are finished eating I clean their food bowl as well, and to end our morning routine I finish with a walk.
