Pet care experience
4+ years of Veterinary Experience
Growing up with dogs and small mammals my whole life, I quickly learned to love animals. I recently earned a Bachelor's in Animal Sciences and another in Biological Sciences. This, paired with my 4 years of experience at MU's Small Animal ICU and additional year at the Central Missouri Humane Society, makes me a VERY qualified caregiver for even the most demanding pets. I am amply comfortable with behavioral issues, special needs animals, medical or geriatric cases, and whatever else you might need help with. Reach out any time, and we can discuss!

Safety, trust & environment
My passion is animal behavior and welfare, as evidenced by my choice of study. I am excited to get to use whatever tools I have available to enrich the lives of the animals in my lives while keeping them safe and healthy for their pet parents! My first priority will always be safety - as a veterinary professional, I pride myself on this above all. I try to leave a written “report card” for each pet I visit. I can also informally advise pet owners on some basic situations and questions about caring for a pet, if requested.
Ratings and reviews
Isabelle was awesome with our two dogs. She house sat for a week while we were on vacation and took great care of our dogs and our home. We highly recommend her.

The best care ever and so many thoughtful questions, wonderful communication. My mind was truly at ease during my time away. Highly recommended!

Isabelle took on such a huge task with our little furry chiweenie, Reggie, and we couldn’t be more grateful for how well she took care of him. Reggie has major separation anxiety, and prior to Isabelle housesitting for us, he had never stayed overnight with anyone outside of close, trusted family members. This summer, we had to be out of the country for 3 weeks to hold our wedding ceremony with my husband’s extended family — so we were worried sick about leaving him. But then we found Isabelle. We scheduled a few walks/play dates at our house in the weeks leading up to our trip so they could get acquainted with each other — and despite his anxiety and mistrust of strangers, she patiently, gently earned his trust and love. During the trip, she kept in close contact with us and always replied quickly to our messages. When we returned after 3 weeks, it was to a clean house and a happy, healthy Reggie. Thank you so much, Isabelle! Any pet would be so lucky to have you as their sitter. - Madison and Daniel

Isabelle was awesome! She was even patient enough to get our very shy kitty to allow her some pets. Made sure the house was ok and everything was taken care of. Kitty usually doesn’t eat as much when we’re gone but was eating all her food, I think because she was comfortable. She did a great job!

Isabelle was a fantastic pet and home sitter while we were away. She sent us pictures regularly and updated us on anything out of the ordinary (mostly mischievous cat behavior lol). We felt confident in her ability to take care of our fur babes in every way and didn’t worry once while we were away for a week. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a commutative and dependable pet sitter!!!

Schedule
I am currently tasked with family caregiving, so I have the flexibility to visit a pet almost any time of the day and spend nights with your pet. I do, however, need to spend about half the day tending to my own dogs. Because of this, I don't foresee scheduling conflicts, but I'll always maintain complete transparency with my availability. In addition, I do charge an additional $5/night for housesitting over twenty minutes from my home due to the driving time.

- It is VERY important to me that I am made aware of your animal's medical needs and history before we meet! This includes vaccination records, allergies, medications, etc. I REQUIRE a photo or PDF of your pet’s vaccination record for booking - this is for my own safety as well as the safety of all the pets I interact with. In addition, I prefer to know about your animal's personality, too; their favorite treats, preferred nap spot, known human words, etc! This way, them and I can "speak the same language", in a way.
