“Nicoletta was absolutely wonderful!!! Caring for our 2 5yo kitties and managing the chaos of a newly introduced 6mo kitty! Grateful for the meet and greet before hand and all the communication during the visit. Truly a cat person!!”

“Kira was so sweet and knowledgeable about how to care for cats, which makes sense since she has cats of her own! She got my skittish kitty to come out for pets, which is really rare for my cat to do that. She also sent a lot of photos and very detailed descriptions after each visit. And she had cat nip!”

“Samiah did a wonderful job taking care of Snow. She was very attentive, reliable, and kept us updated during our time away. We came home to a happy, well cared for dog and a clean home, which gave us great peace of mind. We’re very thankful for all her help and would gladly book with her again. Highly recommend! 🐶💕”

“Had a great experience with Deborah dropping in to check on my cat and administer medication. She took the time to do a meet a greet before the visit. She’s very thorough and very responsive. She also sent me pictures of my Gizmo. I look forward to booking her again.”

“Kyla was awesome! She was always on time and made sure our kitties were doing good while we were away. She was super responsive and quick on updates. We loved all the pictures and will definitely be a repeat customer! ?”

“Rachel Ann was a lifesaver for us when we needed last-minute care for our cat, Freya. Our cat needed two new prescriptions administered twice daily and her food preferences had also just changed. Rachel Ann was an absolute professional in caring for Freya and even adjusted the visit times to accommodate how our cat was responding. She was very loving and sent daily updates and photos. We will definitely request Rachel Ann again and we recommend her to anyone who needs routine or advanced care for their cat.”

“Thank you so much for caring for our spotty boy! We really appreciate you and the time you took to come see to his needs. Excellent work, super responsive and communicative.”

I’ve always gone above and beyond, from taking in mail and newspapers to watering gardens, on top of making sure all furry or feathered friends have love as if their parents weren’t away. I never stopped taking care of pets. Throughout obtaining my bachelors and masters degrees, I relied on pet sitting and my regular full time jobs to make a living. I now work as a therapist and need to pet sit on the side to make a living in the expensive Bay Area! I have a pup of my own now who loves to socialize with the dogs we board. I will be gone 5 hours each day Monday-Friday at my work office about 10 minutes away. If your dog is good around people, I can take them with me to hang out and walk the nearby trails on my lunch break I will care for your pets just as I care for my dog. I provide way too much attention and love ;) I take all dogs boarded with me on my jogs if the dog is up to that.

Thank you Nicoletta for taking such good care of my Zoya and Zeus. Nicoletta is very responsible and caring and looked after my 2 kitties while I was away. She sent me great pictures and updates whenever needed. Will highly recommend her to all cat parents who need a reliable catsitter.

Samiah is amazing! She treated our cats with such love and they really enjoyed her company. Samiah went above and beyond to handle any complications that arose and communicated clearly and effectively. I felt so at ease with her watching the animals, I would definitely book her again!

Adam was a pleasure to work with! From the moment we met him we felt like our cats were in good hands. Adam came on time to our house for over a week and fed our cats, made sure they had clean water, gave them treats, and showed them lots of love. He also helped us by opening up the doors to let our house air out. We loved the detailed report cards he would send every day and enjoyed seeing adorable pics he would snap for us. We wish we would have met him sooner for our cat needs! Overall, Adam is a super cool guy and we will 100% be reaching out to him again for any of our future pet sitting needs. Thanks a million times Adam!

This was my first experience using Rover for my cat, and Emma provided exceptional care, consistently updating me during each visit. Her approachable and communicative nature put me at ease while my partner and I were away. I look forward to booking her services again in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
