About: Dogs are a huge part of my life! Before moving to Wisconsin, I owned and operated a dog walking and overnight boarding business in Maryland for two years. These days, I spend much of my time fostering dogs for a local rescue, helping them decompress, learn home life, and get ready for their forever families. With three personal dogs, I’m very comfortable managing a multi-dog household and all the different personalities that come with it. I’ve cared for everything from energetic, playful pups to seniors who prefer a cozy spot on the couch, as well as rescue dogs who need extra patience, structure, or time to feel comfortable. Fostering has taught me that there really isn’t a “one size fits all” approach to dogs. I pay close attention to body language, respect boundaries, make thoughtful introductions, and adjust my approach based on what each individual dog needs. I also know how hard it can be to leave your dog behind and wonder how they’re doing. You can expect daily updates from me, including plenty of photos and videos, so you can see how your dog is settling in and what they’ve been up to. My goal is to give your dog a safe, comfortable, fun place to stay—and give you the peace of mind that they’re with someone experienced, attentive, and who truly gets dogs. Pet care fits very naturally into my everyday life. I’m a stay-at-home mom to a middle schooler and work remotely part-time, which means I’m home quite a bit and have plenty of flexibility to give the animals in my care lots of attention, love, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and downtime. With three resident dogs—a 70 lb senior mix, a 2-year-old Boston Terrier, and a 1-year-old English Bulldog/French Bulldog mix—and all three started out as fosters who never left! I continue to foster regularly and work very closely with a local dog rescue, so welcoming another dog into our routine is something the dogs are very accustomed to. Dogs staying with us aren't spending the day alone waiting for someone to come home from work. I'm around throughout the day to keep an eye on everyone, accommodate individual routines, and provide plenty of attention (or a cozy place to nap, if that's more their speed!). Pet care is genuinely part of my everyday life, and I love it that way. Here, pets are treated like part of the family. My dogs are kennel trained, but they're also welcome throughout the home—including on the furniture and beds. I'm happy to follow your lead, though! If your dog sleeps in a crate, follows certain house rules, eats on a specific schedule, or isn't allowed on furniture at home, I'll do my best to keep their routine consistent. I live in a large apartment, so all outdoor time is supervised and on leash. I'm very comfortable with puppies and their extra needs, including frequent potty breaks, potty pads, crate training, and the general chaos that comes with puppyhood! I have extra crates that can accommodate dogs up to approximately 75–80 lbs, plus more dog beds and toys than any household probably needs. If your pet has food or environmental allergies, please let me know. I am very accustomed to managing allergies and am happy to follow specific instructions regarding food, treats, medications, or environmental triggers. Because your dog will share our home with my husband, middle-school-aged child, and our three resident dogs, dogs staying with us must be comfortable with older children, men, and other dogs. I take introductions and dog body language seriously and want every animal in the house—yours and mine—to feel safe and comfortable. While others do live in the home, I will be the caregiver for any other animals. For care in your home, I'll follow your lead. You know your pets and their routine best, and my goal is to keep things as familiar and consistent as possible while you're away. I'm also happy to care for more than just dogs during in-home visits—cats and other household pets are welcome, too! Whether your pet stays with us or I care for them in their own home, I'll treat their individual routine as exactly that: individual. Some pets want to be your shadow, some want nonstop playtime, and some would prefer that I serve dinner promptly and otherwise respect their personal space. I'm good with all three!

About: I am a seasoned vet assistant, actively working towards my technician license. Fear free and pet CPR certified (BLS and ALS), as well as dog obedience and groomer certified. I am experienced with administering injectable, transdermal, and oral medications. I have been working with animals for over 10 years, and have been in the veterinary setting for 5. I have experience with fearful, reactive, fractious, and friendly animals. I am knowledgeable on the care/support of neonate and geriatric dogs, cats, reptiles, and pocket pets. I work overnight, so I will have time to care for your animals in the morning and in the evening. Depending on my work schedule, I may be able to accept afternoon appointments, but reach out to me personally to see my availability. I can do house visits and go for walks up to three times a day. My schedule is usually pretty open, so I can take time to get to know your pet, so we can build trust for future visits.

About: I've helped out at a shelter for a large chunk of my life before I moved for college, taking care of dogs and cats. I have some experience with basic training as well. I'm currently in college so my schedule changes with my classes, and outside of school i'm usually hanging out with my cats but I'd be happy to share that love with your pets as well. About: I have lived with large dogs my entire life and own 2 cats of my own, one of which I take for walks outside on a leash every day. I am responsible, communicative, and compassionate. Pet happiness is very important to me! I am currently unemployed so my time is very flexible, both during the week and weekends. Since I was young, I’ve always owned and taken care of pets whether it was dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles or horses! About: Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua mix) since birth till now (11 years old). Together, we have fostered 16 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from a high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after American pit bulls, a large Newfoundland, and senior doggies who have hip difficulties and special diets. Our own dog is a 3.5 year old Aussie-beagle, so we particularly love the herding dogs. :) We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need! We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently. We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.

About: I have experience from dogs, cats, chickens, to reptiles since I was a kid. Definitely know how to be friendly to animals, read body language, and adapt. I routinely pet-sit my elderly neighbor’s tabby, my friend’s tortoiseshell cat and cocker spaniel, my boyfriend’s black lab, and my cousin’s scottish folds. I have been continuously contacted to play, walk, feed, and poop-scoop their pets and enjoy each others company. I am a recent graduate taking a gap year so my schedule is flexible. About: I’ve been in the pet care industry since I was 18 years old! I started in dog daycares and ended up in the veterinary industry as a vet tech/assistant. I have since moved back home and plan on going back to school to get into human medicine, but would love to still spend time with animals! I’m currently going to school online, so I have a lot of availability! I would require just 24 hours notice in order to pet sit or walk your furry child! Unfortunately, I cannot have animals at my house besides my own. I have experience in pet sitting at others houses and I can also clean!
