About: Hi, I’m Ruby! I'm a Humane Society volunteer and I’ve been house sitting and taking care of animals for about six years. I’m a college student planning to study animal behavior and marine biology, and I’m using this opportunity to get more hands on experience with animals while saving up for school. I’ve cared for all kinds of pets: dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, chickens, goats, horses, birds, fish, and more, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of animals and care needs. I take pet care seriously and always do my best to follow routines and make animals feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. About: Happy, loving, patient and playful pupsitters who have experience working as kennel manager, dogsitter, and lifelong dog lovers. We love and care for all creatures big and small and happen to love dogs as though they were our own children (and they are.) My partner Jessie and I share all dog duties in our house. Someone is around the house every day of the week, as Jessie often works from home, and our two pups are always home. We strive to never leave our own pups alone for no more than 4 hours so there's always time and room for bathroom breaks. And if the weather is nice we leave the backyard door open for them to roam free (in a fenced area). It is the most ideal place for a dog to have room to move about, activities to entertain, and loving caretakers to help them live their best life. We have a fenced in yard and plenty of space to roam, along with healthy wildlife distractions, fun toys, plenty of snacks, and generous room inside the house for everyone to feel cozy, warm or cool, and always nurtured.

I am not one of those people who looks at my phone constantly so your pet will get my attention, not just my presence. I will keep tabs on them, put reminders for scheduled events on my phone, and check in with them frequently outside of scheduled care, and will contact the pet owner with any and all questions. I'm good at reading their cues, love to snuggle and play, I'm happy to have them sleep with me if they prefer. I'm strict about following owner's rules and instructions. I am super communicative and notoriously flexible schedule wise - for I want to be with your pets as much as possible!! My home offers a large open concept for your pets to frolic around! My current schedule allows me to be really good with feeding and potty schedules!
