7. Iva & Eduardo P.
About: Eduardo & Iva are a couple who love animals and are ready to support you with yours! Eduardo grew up on a farm and had dogs his whole life. He has experience with boxers, german shepherds, blue healers, labs, goldens, pitbull mixes, american staffordshire, cane curso, and mutts. Growing up on the farm gave Eduardo the skill to read and understand animal body language which comes in handy when taking care of your fur babies. Iva has loved animals ever since she was little. She wanted a dog her entire life and finally made that dream a reality 5 years ago. When Iva visits people's houses, you can usually find her where the animals are hanging out 😂 Eduardo & Iva have experience training puppies (two of their own- an Aussie and a Pomsky). In college, Eduardo & Iva volunteered at a husky rescue shelter for 2 years. We are happy to care for any age cat or dog! Iva works from home and would love to support the fur babies and their humans in the Madison area! She has flexibility during the day :) Safety and patience are top priorities! If something is not working with your animal, we will find another way to approach it. We are proactive and intentional to avoid dangerous situations.

15. Jenna W.
About: I grew up with four dogs (3 medium/large, 1 small) and now have a dog of my own which I trained since 8 wks. I have experience with potty training puppies using training pads, but with my own dog I trained him without pads (I had to keep a strict 24-hr schedule, but super happy with results!). I also have experience with crate training and non-crated dogs. All my dogs have lived to old age, so I've had experience with senior dogs (cognitive decline, mobility assistance/monitoring). I aim to provide the best care possible and keep your pet safe, happy, and healthy while you're away! I currently have a very open schedule! I am able to do daily visits (even multiple times in a day) during weekdays and weekends. I can also spend extended time during each visit if you need more than just a quick check-in (playtime, walking, grooming, etc.). I have experience with crate trained dogs--if that is what your dog considers their "cozy space" I am happy to accommodate. If outdoor playtime is done within fences then the dog can be off-leash (provided the fences seem high enough), otherwise all outdoor time is spent on-leash. I like to bring treats on walks just in case a distraction is needed to keep the dog's attention. I do not approach off-leash dogs if walking with an on-leash dog, and I keep an eye on the dog's body language to determine whether they should be allowed to interact with other dogs when out on a walk.

16. Amy L.
“Amy is fantastic! She takes amazing care of dogs, ensuring they are happy, well-fed, and loved while away. Her communication is great, with regular updates and photos that gives peace of mind. I highly recommend Amy for anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

17. Stephany D.
“Stephany is a kind and loving person. Unlike most people she always talks about the dogs she has been taking care of. She does not see dogs as animals but as people, which i think is pretty cool. To see someone with the passion she has is incredible. Rather than looking at the work as a job she sees it as time to go hang out with a friend. If you want someone to treat your dog really well you should ask Steph!!!”

18. Dietrich G.

“Dietrich took my dog, Ragu, for great walks. He would provide detailed description of the walks and if she ate all the breakfast (she is a picky eater). Ragu is always happy to see him.”

19. Catherine P.
About: I've shared my home with animals for my whole life, and it has shaped my dreams for my future. I have not only personal experience raising and caring for cats and dogs of all ages- I also have a wealth of professional experience in dog care. From making Daycare a fun and safe environment for up to 30 dogs at a time to managing complex feeding and medication schedules for dogs and cats in Boarding, and even bathing dogs of all kinds, I have dedicated myself to the well being of animals. I am a firm believer in positive reinforcement, and my gentle nature and kind treatment of animals has given me the ability to deeply connect with them. I am currently transitioning from full time work in a daycare facility to focusing on independent animal care- I am open most weekday mornings, afternoons, and evenings past 7pm. I am available Saturdays until 4pm, and past 9pm, and all day on Sundays! It is incredibly important to me that I meet your pet's needs- whatever they may be! I have experience with all ages, shapes, and sizes, and am confident that your pet will be well cared for in my hands. I am comfortable working with all care needs, medications, and dietary specifications.

20. Amanda B.
“Amanda is a very caring and terrific person. She has cared for my dog and I always felt extremely comfortable knowing Amanda was taking very good care of my boy and he loved her too. She is responsible, dependable and we trust her explicitly with our boy. She would be an asset to any organization who is lucky enough to have her as an employee. Tina Flodin”
