“Keezieng has been a fantastic dog walker this past week! Very flexible and always on time, he made sure that Stella always had a nice mid-day walk.”

“Michelle is spectacular! This was my first Rover experience and I was quite concerned my pup wasn't going to cooperate with a (relative) stranger for a walk BUT from the moment they met for a Meet and Greet Michelle was his friend. It's obvious she truly loves dogs and I know mine loves the time they spend together. I strongly recommend Michelle to any Rover user and will recommend this app to friends.”

“Jennifer is great! We'd love for her to walk our dog again (in fact we already rebooked). We needed help once a week with our 8mo puppy. Jennifer always picks him up on schedule and returns him happy and well exercised! Our dog loves everyone but my husband is convinced the pup loves Jennifer extra.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, & many other animals since I was young! I currently have two English Cocker Spaniels - they are sweeties! My husband and I got them as pups and trained them ourselves. I feel very confident working with puppies and I adore them. The dogs I grew up with were all rescues, so I also feel confident in caring for rescue dogs that may have more difficult pasts or behaviors. We had a senior chihuahua up until a year ago- she was my everything! Big or small, active or couch potato, I’m happy to care for your special ones. I am happy to get out and walk, run, bike, train or play as well as cuddle up and give some loves. (: I have a flexible work schedule and can easily fit in part-time pet sitting. I’m happy to come by for an hour or two in the afternoon as well as stay the night and keep the animals active morning and evening. I typically try to avoid leaving pets for more than 5 hours- it’s typically 2-4. I have two sweet, easy going boys that are very happy to play and hang out with other dogs in the owner’s home if they would like. I am flexible- I have watched active dogs, low-key dogs, dogs that need extra love and attention, and everything in between. I’m an active person and am happy to take dogs on longer walks or runs, even. My lifestyle is such that doing activities with animals fits in well with the day-to-day.

“Austin was fantastic walking Mazie! Great communication, lots of pictures, and she was tired and seemed very comfortable and happy. I recommend to everyone!”

“Really appreciated Annie walking my sweet dog for me! She’s very trustworthy and great!”

“Magan was the most helpful and amazing dog walker. My dog Vienna loved her, and she was always so happy whenever she got to go out with Magan. Magan was really sweet to Vienna and treated her great! Would recommend 100%”

“Alisyn did a great job with Willis! Her feedback was helpful and it was nice to know he was being well taken care of. Alisyn worked with us on everything we needed. Highly recommend! We will be continuing to use her services.”

“I highly recommend Iva for her services. From our first meeting at the in-person Meet & Greet, it was clear that she genuinely cared for my dog, Millie, as if she were her own. Iva quickly adapted to Millie's senior dog needs and promptly informed me of any concerns she noticed, keeping me well-informed. Having just moved to the area to start a new full-time job, this was my first experience leaving Millie home alone. Knowing that Iva was coming to walk her twice a day gave me tremendous peace of mind. I appreciated receiving brief reports and photos of their time together during my busy workdays. Iva even took the time to show extra love to my cat, Missy.”

About: Hi, my name is Ava! I am looking to provide dog walking & check in services in the West Madison area. I am committed to providing individualized care, strong attention to detail, and genuine interest and compassion for animals. I grew up in a family that took in a variety of pets to provide a safe home. I am a strong believer in your fuzzy friends being your best friends! They deserve to be treated with care and love while you're away, just as I would want for my dog. I rescued my miniature pinscher 6 years ago and she is now 15 years old! She is both an old lady and still my little baby. I love all animals and I'm so excited to meet yours! I have experience working with children and youth with diverse needs, and that level of care and patience extends naturally to animals with anxiety, behavioral challenges, or special routines. My background in caregiving and support work has taught me to be highly responsible, communicative, and reliable. I’m organized, dependable, and quick to respond — qualities that give pet owners peace of mind. I also go the extra mile with photo updates, customized activities, and keeping pets happy and stress-free while their humans are away. I’m active and love outdoor time — whether it’s long walks, playing fetch, or trail adventures, I’m happy to match your dog’s energy level. I work from home so I have a flexible schedule from 7am-5pm, but it is not consistent every day. I am able to work my schedule around visits and walks if I have enough time to plan. Just message me with details! I could board pets during the day if it's a small dog with no aggression. I have a 15 year old miniature pinscher that gets anxious around medium-large dogs that have anxiety as well and/or some aggression. I am happy to do drop ins and walks throughout the day!

“Megan did a great job with Sami while we were away! We would definitely use her again!”

About: Woof ("Howdy”, in dog talk;)! OK, corny, but I do, in fact, talk to my pets, and I'm pretty sure they talk back. I have decades of experience with pets of my own, at one time with 2 dogs and 5 cats), and a couple of years' volunteer experience with the Dane County Humane Society, Shelter from the Storm Animal Rescue, and Fetch WI Rescue (current). I have a Fear Free certification (see (see details on their website at Fear Free Shelters) which has been pivotal in handling difficult dogs and doing basic instruction in sit, down, and leash walking. I am comfortable with puppies to pitties, and kittens to little lions ( I fostered 3 active kittens during a shelter outbreak). I have also volunteered at Henry Vilas Zoo as an animal educator and can bore you with all kinds of factoids on lions, tigers and bears (polar and grizzly). Also sloths, porcupines, giraffes and Southern White Rhinos. Most importantly, I love animals. I currently have a 9-year old Great Pyrenees mix who is a recent rescue and a foster fail, and we are deeply in love He has special needs but is a gentle giant. We walk a LOT and his (and my) favorite place is the dog park. I am retiring from a career in technology, and hoping to continue to be useful doing something I love. I am still establishing a routine, and this may help with the parameters Effective immediately, I can no longer accept bookings, where there is a outdoor cat in the household. Free ranging cats are susceptible to the avian bird flu, which is extremely contagious, and which I don’t want to bring home to my cats Not a judgment, just a precaution I will treat your pets as my own; my dog likes long walks and long brushing sessions; my cats love laptime and the elusive laser and feather. I administer medication daily to both my elderly dog and and one of my senior cats.

About: I had the pleasure of owning two small dogs: Tally and Lulu. While they are no longer with us, I walked them, fed them, loved them, and miss them. Would love to share my care and love for dogs by helping other dog owners with theirs! I am currently free on all weekdays from 8:00am to 9:00pm and weekends from 8:00am to 6:00pm to walk dogs, pet-sit, play/cuddle, feed, or any other task asked of me. I plan to follow the specific instructions provided by the owners during our first meeting. I will only use a regular leash, not retractable, unless specifically told not to by the owner. I will only use owner-approved treats/food.

About: We are a family of four that wants to get a dog some day when our children are a bit older. We have two daughters aged 7 and 3. We love to do dog sitting so we can still enjoy a dog in our home. I am a high school teacher and my wife stays home 3 out of 5 days/week with our two young daughters. My wife grew up with Labradors and I grew up with Maltese and Terriers. We cannot wait to have our own dog again. Will your dog be the one to convince us of what type of dog we want for our family? We look forward to meeting you and treating your dog like they are part of our family! Because we do not currently have a dog and only take one dog at a time, your dog will be very well cared for and receive tons of attention and affection! **once in awhile, we may have two bookings that overlap slightly depending on pick-up/drop-off times, but if that happens we will communicate that with you! My wife is home Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with our daughters. On Mondays and Tuesdays, we are gone from 8:30-4:00. If that is too long of a period for your dog to go without a potty break please let us know! I am a teacher at Memorial highschool (just 5 mins from our home) and can easily come home during my lunch break for a quick dog walk! We have a fenced in yard for your dog to explore. Otherwise, we will let your dog roam anywhere in the house! If needed, we have baby gates and are able to section off parts of our home.

“Jenny is fabulous! She leaves wonderful comments that make me feel as though I had been there myself. She cares about my pup and is able to accommodate last minute needs. I so appreciate her!”

About: Hi! I'm Logan, a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I grew up with pets in the house, and I’ve always had a special bond with animals of all sizes and personalities. Whether it’s a playful pup who loves long walks or a shy kitty who just needs a little extra TLC during a drop-in visit, I’m here to help make them feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members, and I take that responsibility seriously. You can count on me to be reliable, communicative, and treat your pets like my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pets soon! I’m currently working full time 8-4 during the week but after work hours are for the pets! I usually take my dog to the dog park after work and on the weekends. We’re always down for a long walk as well when the weather isn’t dog park friendly. When I’m home I make sure to give lovin and attention to all of my pets! I make sure there are no potential hazards or anything they could get into. Always have toys around to keep them occupied so they are not tempted to get into said hazards. I’m good about recognizing cues from the dogs about whether they want food or need a potty break!

About: I have had pets my whole life since I was a child. I have had experience with training dogs as puppies. I have two dogs of my own. Diego has been with me since he was 8 weeks old. I also have an English Bulldog and have had him since he was a puppy. I know how hard it is to be able to give your animal the time of day when you are busy, so I would love to give your animal that time of day. I connect well with all animals and have the patience for any aged animal. I would love to give my free time to making your life easier and your animals life happy! I currently work remotely as a legal intern. I have availability in the evenings during the week, as well as Friday afternoons and every weekend, except when I am out of town. I am constantly revolving what I'm doing around my 2 dogs. They are my priority first. I have an English bulldog, so making sure he gets all of the medical necessities figured out for him is important.
