The first session with you, I'd like to take a few minutes of our time to meet you and your pet, go over any favorite activities, feeding preferences, special requests, medications, etc. Animals are happiest when their normal daily routine is followed, so discussion of what a typical day looks like for your pet will help them feel safe and comfortable with me.
A typical day
I love to be active with my pets, whether its throwing the ball, tug of war, going to dog parks, or running around a big field. Even walking our cats in backpacks to get them outside. Let me know what your pet's favorite activities are. You can be sure I'll keep them mentally stimulated and happy.

Pet care experience
I am a rising 3rd year veterinary medical student at UW, with previous experience working at a small animal hospital and volunteering at an animal shelter. I am comfortable with any type or size of dog, as well as cats. I have owned a dog, bird, and lizard, and currently own two cats and a horse. I am comfortable with medicating pets if needed or with other procedures such as injections or fluid administration.

It is safe to say that our kitties gave Jennifer a run for her money- one who hates strangers, the other who makes a break for the door when sitters try to leave! She handled all of it with grace and kindness. We were sent daily pictures and always felt our pets were in great hands.
Jennifer is great with my big goofy boy….she adapts to weather conditions and my dog’s needs with care and attention for his comprehensive wellness. He loves his walks…more like sniff adventures…just as much as he loves the house hangouts where he can have a great mix of play and couch hippo experiences. Definitely a 5 tail wag review from us!
Jennifer is great with my goofy mastiff pitty mix. If it’s a zoomies day or a house hippo day, he’s a happy camper!
Jennifer took great care of my cat Strudel. I was on my first vacation away from my cat and Jennifer’s consistent updates and photos helped reassure me she was in good care. Despite being a very shy and cautious cat, Strudel actually warmed up to Jennifer fairly quickly, which was very nice to see too! Overall, I’m very happy with the care Jennifer provided for my cat!
