With my own dog, I keep him to a balanced feeding schedule, daily exercise and enrichment, grooming, and health monitoring alongside my academic responsibilities. Because of my veterinary training, I’m attentive to subtle changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels and prioritize preventative care and routine health checks. Managing my own dog and his minor health issues has made me very comfortable incorporating animal care into my days to ensure that my pets receive reliable, attentive care regardless of coursework or other obligations.

I provide attentive, individualized care based on each pet’s routine and needs. In my home or a client’s home, I follow feeding schedules closely, ensure fresh water is always available, and provide regular exercise, playtime, and enrichment. I’m comfortable administering medications as needed and monitoring pets for any changes in behavior or health.

Schedule
Even though veterinary school is busy, I always have enough time to make my pet care a built-in part of my daily and weekly routine. My days are structured around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, enrichment, and routine care like litter maintenance and grooming. I plan my academic schedule well ahead in advance to ensure pets receive consistent attention and care, even on busy days.
