About: With being surrounded by family and friends who are vet techs & pet clinic staff, I have had experience with dogs & cats for a very long time. I absolutely adore animals and have always wanted to make it my job to go above and beyond and give all the love to fur babies so they feel comfortable while their owner is away. This is professionally my third year. With being an active girl, I love to go on walks, hike, go for drives & listen to music. Pet sitting is very compatible with my personality and routine. When I visit a home or stay with a pet, I make sure to follow every instruction to keep the dog, or cat, in the same routine so the animal is as comfortable as possible. It is important to me to not disrupt the normal for an animal and keep them feeling loved and safe. ♥️

About: From a very young age, I helped my family take care of our family dogs. As an adult, I have one dog and two cats in my family. I love playing with them, taking my dog for walks, and making sure that they have enriched, happy lives. I have also been trusted by family and friends to take care of their pets while they are away. I know how hard it can be to be away from our pets and would love to help take care of your animals! I work during the day on weekdays during the school year. During school breaks, I have more availability. I am available for drop-in visits in the afternoons or evenings, or more flexibly on weekends. I'm happy to work around your schedule as much as possible. I love going for long walks, so your pup will get lots of exercise on a walk with me. I understand that not all animals are immediately comfortable around new people, so I will let your pet take the lead when engaging with me.

About: I grew up on a farm taking care of farm animals of all ages, sizes, and species. I now own 2 kitties and 2 horses while I am finishing my masters in marine resource management! Being an animal person is kinda my thing! I spent 6 years of my life shadowing, volunteering, and near the end, working in vet clinics. It wasn’t until I went out to sea for NOAA that I realized I wanted to go into environmental studies. For now I can’t own my own dog due to the lack of a yard at my apartment, but dog walking seems like a great compromise! Not to mention, I have been walking horses around my entire life, which are basically large, unpredictable dogs. Dog walking would be lovely for me since I am in the middle of writing my thesis. Taking a break throughout my day is much needed for my personal sanity and productivity! Plus, dogs AND walking, say less. Since I have two cats my place is not the best for dogs that aren’t kitty friendly, but if I feel comfortable with a dog I don’t mind bringing them over. I house sit for the gals at my barn now, plus I’ve house sat all throughout high school and undergrad. Following directions and being respectful are extremely important to me.

About: I have been pet sitting for about 3 years now. I have always had pets including dogs and guinea pigs. I can’t wait to help pets and pet owners! I am currently working a part time job. I am also heading to college this fall. My schedule is free most days and hours of the week. I am willing to walk for many miles in order to reach the needs of the pets. About: Please note: our beloved golden retriever, Charlie, has been diagnosed with a heart tumor and pulmonary hypertension. We are on a hiatus from dog sitting for this period of time while we care for him and give him all the love we can for the time we have left with him. We are a dog loving family with experience from puppyhood to senior care. We’ve raised dogs from breeders and we’ve fostered/rescued. One of our beloved pups had a severe genetic heart disease, so we’ve dealt with medical conditions and the accompanying drugs and modified care they require. Through all of our canine experiences, we’ve learned that dogs thrive with consistency, positive reinforcement, and lots of love and affection. Our two retrievers are a huge part of our family, and we look forward to your pup falling in with our routines like he/she is one of our own. I work from home Monday-Friday. Your dog(s) would spend their weekdays joining our two dogs either curled up at my feet or playing in our fenced-in backyard. On weekends and evenings they’ll enjoy the extra company of our dog-loving teenagers, who will spoil them rotten with walks, playtime, and lots of attention! We have a big, fenced in yard so the dogs will get plenty of outdoor time. For the most part, your dog(s) will have free rein to be with our family and our dogs doing whatever we’re doing — but we do have several crates and portable fences that we can use as needed to provide separation and quiet time. We want your dog to be comfortable and happy in our home, so we’ll work closely with you before your visit to make sure we understand his/her habits and routines!

About: I am a nurse and am currently focusing on finishing my degree. I have always had a soft spot for dogs ever since I was a child. In the past, I exclusively cared for the pets of friends and family. I have recently joined Rover and am excited to turn that passion into reality. I have had my own dogs (3) for around 12 years and have cared for them in all aspects of life. I will treat your fur child as my own ❤️ I am a part time student so I will have plenty of time to spend with your dog. I have availability Monday - Thursday to accommodate most work schedules. Friday availability is limited but please ask. In short, my two dogs are my children; and I will treat yours as such. I would prefer to walk your dogs in your neighborhood so it is comfortable in familiar surroundings. However, I do drive a Jeep and live close to hiking trails that would be perfect for an on-leash walk. Of course that would be up to your comfort level. I look forward to meeting you and your pup!

About: Old school reliable guy that has owned pets for over 6 years. I have 3 cats and a senior dog at home. I am very considerate of other people's animals. I have pet sat for family members and never had issues. I work full time as a firefighter which consists of a rotating schedule. My current schedule allows time to be home for my animals and if needed other people's as well. I understand life can be hectic but pets are just as important cuz they our are family. I have plenty of room on my profile my dog to walk around and do her thing. My cats are happy with sleeping eating and attention. They are low maintenance for sure. During winter you can find them all gathered on the heated blanket on the bed or couch.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, currently I have a black lab (Marlin), and four cats (Nug, Goose, Heron, and Plover). Three of my four cats were born in my neighborhood to a feral mom, who I worked with the animal shelter to trap, spay, and release after capturing her kittens and getting her healthy. Over the course of the year in 2020, I socialized and found homes for all of her babies and ended up with three!! This said, I have experience with cats along a range of trusting humans and have a bit of a soft spot for them in my heart. In addition, I have had a cat with diabetes and dogs on medication, so I am comfortable administering insulin to cats and finding sneaky way to prevent dogs from spitting out pills. Aside from my own pets, I’ve watched my family members’ dogs while they are away and have watched some dogs and cats outside of Rover! Having recently graduated from URI, I am living in my hometown of Westerly until my Masters program starts in the fall. I work part time at a coffee shop at the moment and my schedule is never the same in a week. However, I can be fairly flexible, just message me with your dates and needs and I’ll see what I can do!! Unfortunately I cannot care for your pets in my own home, as I have my own animals. However, in your house, I am happy to meet your pets where their needs are. I want them to be as comfortable as possible while getting love, care, and play while you may be away.

About: I worked for a local dog breeder for 2 years. There I took care of all dogs and I was the trainer for them! I also groomed and gave haircuts to the dogs I have also owned cats my entire life and I have some equine experience! Pet care is very important. Although we as humans cannot just lay on the couch most days and be with our fur baby’s! our pets need someone for company to get them off the couch and active. I have whole lots of time to make sure your fur baby is getting the attention they need when fur moms and dads are busy In clients homes I will be consistent with their fur baby’s always paying attention to their needs and keeping the pets and pet parents happy!
