“Mary is a kind, trustworthy person that loves animals. I had a last minute work trip, and Mary was able to jump in and take care of my two cats - working around her schedule to make it happen. She’s easy to communicate and gives great updates. I had the pleasure of meeting her before I left, and communication with her was seamless throughout. I would hire her again.”

About: I have several years caring for dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, birds, you name it! I love all animals and seem to have a special bond with them. I am really good with timid and elderly pets, and always make sure they are as comfortable as can be. I currently work part time as a dog groomer. I will have plenty of time in the afternoons and weekends to spend time with your fur babies. I am respectful and responsible when I visit your home. I will make sure your baby will get the right amount of potty breaks, on time feeding and meet all of their needs. I love to get outside, go on hikes and visit the river. When available, I have a safe, fenced in 3 acre yard for playtime, running, ball throwing and sniffing. I have 3 friendly dogs to play with, but I do have the ability to separate them in a different area when needed. All dogs are allowed inside the house as well.

“Amy is wonderful! She went above and beyond when watching our 2 cats over the holidays. She gave us very detailed updates, was responsive, and alerted us to anything that was amiss with the cats or house. It was so nice to have someone so trustworthy and good with cats to have watching things.”

About: When I was 12, my aunt gifted me a toy poodle, and that marked the beginning of my pet care journey. She’s now 13 years old and still in great health. Over the years, I’ve taken care of her grooming, dental cleaning, daily walks, and regular vet checkups. I learned how to read her body language, manage her diet as she aged, and make homemade food when she got picky with kibble. I work full-time as a barista, usually from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, which means I’m available in the afternoons and evenings to care for your pet. Whether it’s playtime, feeding, walks, or just keeping them company, I have the energy (and the love!) to give them the attention they need! At the moment, I live with housemates, so I’m not able to host pets in my home. However, I’m happy to care for your pet in your space to ensure their comfort and well-being. I always follow your instructions closely, whether it’s feeding, walks, administering medication, or maintaining litter boxes. I keep their environment clean, stick to their routines, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and stress-free while you’re away.

“Victoria is great! She is very responsive and a great communicator. Frankie, our 1 year old cat, quickly took to her warm and kind personality. We’d happily have Victoria back to cat sit or check-in on Frankie again!”

“Laurie was great! She cared for our kitties and gave them lots of scratches and playtime, and shared lots of photos with nice updates. We came home to happy cats and would definitely book Laurie again next time we need a sitter.”

About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and even horses. I’ve had my Lab for 6 years and grew up with both a dog and a cat. I’ve also helped care for my sister’s energetic German Shepherd and her cat. In my early 20s, I had horses and learned the importance of patience, routine, and calm energy when working with animals of all sizes. Whether it’s a playful pup or a shy cat, I treat every pet like family and always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and at home. I have a very flexible schedule and can adjust to meet your pet’s needs. Whether it’s regular walks or drop-ins, I’m happy to work around your availability. Just let me know what works best for you! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I follow your instructions closely and take the time to get to know each pet’s unique needs and personality. During walks or drop-ins, I keep a close eye on surroundings, use secure leashes or harnesses, and never rush. I treat every home with the same respect I’d want in mine, and I’m committed to creating a calm, caring experience every visit.

“Lu is fantastic! He went above and beyond in caring for our dog while we were out of town. His love for animals was evident as he made us aware of any concerns and sent us daily updates and photos. We highly recommend Lu for his exceptional services.”

About: I am currently living in Carbondale, CO living for the outdoor adventures! I love getting to bring Leo on outdoor adventures with me and would treat your fur baby like my own with lots of love and fun adventures. I decided to get into dog sitting because I’m looking for some side work and what better way to spend my time then with more sweet furry friends! In my personal experience, I have had a wide range of different kinds of pets, such as chickens, lizards, hamsters, cats, and dogs. In my professional life with animal handling, I had the most incredible experience in the past in Colorado to be a part-time dog handler for sled dogs. I have also done a good amount of dog sitting for friends in the past. I can't wait to help out and make some new furry friends and maybe go on an outdoor adventure too! I do work full time but have flexibility in my daily schedule and have weekends open. Just as I treat my dog, I always prioritize a good healthy route and would do the same for your pet. I have a regular route with my dog and would treat and care for anyone else’s pets the same! I understand the importance of a safe and loving experience for your pets as I look for the same for my dog when I’m away. I have a lot of country land I live at with a grassy backyard.

“I was overwhelmed with a new 6 month old puppy and was exhausted! My Vet suggested I try Rover to find a pet sitter. I was exhausted. So I connected with Megan and asked for "HELP" Within 10 minutes she relied "I can help." So we did a meet & greet with my dog Cedella at my cabin. The next afternoon I was off to a music gig for 7 hours...and kenneled my dog. Megan arrived at @ my cabin, as discussed, and handeled my puppy very professionally. I had no worries and enjoyed my performance that night. Thank you Megan, I look forward to having you take care of Cedella again soon. GG 🐾”

About: I’ve always had a deep love for dogs, growing up with several sets of Dachshunds, which sparked my lifelong bond with these wonderful creatures. I’m an active person who enjoys long walks, and I love sharing that time with dogs, whether it’s a stroll in the park or a fun play session. While I currently don’t have a pet of my own, I have an abundance of love and attention to give to other people's pets, making sure they feel cared for and appreciated while their owners are away. Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or just some quiet companionship, I’m dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment for your furry friend I have a flexible schedule that works well for pet care. I get out of work pretty early, so I have plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings to take your dog on walks, engage in playtime, or just offer some companionship. Additionally, I have weekends off, which allows me to provide extra care and attention, whether it's for longer walks, play sessions, or simply spending time with your pet. My schedule ensures that your pet will receive consistent care and affection every day of the week. As a teacher, I have summers off, which gives me the perfect opportunity to provide flexible and attentive care for pets. My routine during the summer allows me to dedicate time to walks, play, and companionship for the dogs I care for. I’m able to offer frequent and individualized attention throughout the day, ensuring your pet gets the exercise, affection, and care they deserve. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I can give your pet the attention they need while you’re away. I take a thoughtful and personalized approach to caring for pets, whether it’s in my home or your pet’s home. In my home, I ensure a safe, pet-friendly environment with plenty of space for pets to relax and play. I keep a consistent routine for feeding, walks, and playtime. Your pet will be treated like family, with plenty of attention, affection, and fun activities throughout the day. If your pet has any special needs or preferences, I’m happy to accommodate them to make sure they feel at ease. In your home, I make sure to follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to avoid stress or disruption. I maintain the same level of care, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any other needs your pet may have. I always make sure to leave your home in the same condition it was when I arrived, ensuring your pet feels comfortable in their own space while you're away.

“Cal is ABSOLUTELY wonderful !!! He was so professional and my dogs loved him. He sent pictures at check ins, which is always a sense of relief, knowing our babies are safe and happy! Highly recommend and will be having him again for our next pet sitting need!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and love all animals. A lot of my friends and family have cats and I have also cared for them too. I love caring for all animals of all ages. I work 4 days out of the week until 5pm but am available otherwise or for overnight stays if needed. I thought working around that may work. I always let the animals come to me to ensure they feel safe and let them sniff me to get to know me. Then going from there I cook some for my senior dog so I am able to offer any special food needs or potty needs since all pets are different. I know animal cpr (learned just in case I also am trained in human cpr). I am very patient with all animals since they are all different and special.

About: I've been around animals since I was a kid & I love each & every one of them! Whether they bark or meow, tail wags and cuddles are guaranteed! :) I have an 8lb Bichon that I take with me everywhere. We go on walks at least 3/4 times a day for bathroom breaks and socializing. It is part of our daily routine as we both get to go outside for fresh air and exercise. Meeting a new fur baby is exciting. I get to know them and what they're interested in & building trust. I never leave your fur baby alone for a second. Every pawrent & their fur baby is different so I make sure I meet their needs and trust. I go by kindness and making sure that everyone is at ease in a comfortable and friendly environment.

“Clarissa did such a wonderful job tending my four furry family members on a last-minute booking. I came home to happy critters, and so appreciated the little extra touches she left like leaving the porch light on for me and unloading the dishwasher. I feel so lucky to have found her and the peace of mind her gentle spirit gave all of us.”

About: Nick and I keep and active lifestyle. We are always out with our dog, Moby, on trails with our bikes or on foot. Your dog will get to play with Moby, just turn a year and can play all day and can become apart of our adventures on the trail. We have a flexible work schedule, leaving one of us at home almost at all times. Nick has a really great calming and commanding voice that dogs seem to respond well to. I am the playful one that becomes the best friend until I have to command correction. Moby is Nick's second dog and my first. Moby has been the most stubborn dog to train, however we have worked to remain patient during training and we have learned how to work with Moby better each day.

About: While I am based out of Golden, I work remotely so I'm able to care for pets and homes anywhere throughout the state! I've taken care of dogs of my own, roommates dogs, friends' pets, and Rover sits over the past 10 years. I've taken care of dogs between puppy age and 13 years old. I've also cat sat for friends over the years. I currently live in an apartment so I unfortunately can't board any at my home. However I'm happy to watch them from the comfort of their home. My schedule is really flexible with my remote job and I'm happy to take them on walks and potty/play breaks throughout the day. The longest I've watched someone's pet was for 2 months and I loved it! Feel free to reach out with any other questions! I'm currently in between jobs. I am able to be very attentive and love to take morning walks, midday walks or fetch, and evening walks. I can take them to the dog park or on hikes or if they're good with bikes, I can take them on even longer run/bike rides. I am very respectful and clean when staying at a clients house. I treat it like my own (if not better). I love to go for walks with your pup and keep them on leash. I also don't give in on the cute puppy eyes when I'm eating my food and keep them to their parents approved food and treats.
