About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. Growing up on a farm, my family always had multiple dogs and often cats, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I love spending time with pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. About: I grew up with small to large dogs and have had experience with administering medication including shots, as well as wound care and basic behavioral training practices. I currently work a full-time retail job but love animals and am always willing to care for someone’s fur babies when they are away. Working retail means my schedule is never consistent. About: I've had animals my whole life and grew up with dogs, cats, and my own horses. I lost my two dogs recently and I'm not ready to adopt again, but I'm not ready to go without dogs either. My Aussie needed a lot of extra care near the end, so senior pups are no problem. I can do meds, oral or injection. I've raised puppies too. Anxious dogs and dogs who are super bonded to their people tend to do well with me. Honestly, I find animals easier than humans. I haven't met a dog I couldn't bond with yet. I work from home, so your pup is with me pretty much all day. If I run an errand they come along, unless it's too hot to wait in the car- in which case they will hang at home. They sleep in my room unless you want something different. Right now I'm wide open and flexible with enough heads up I only take one family at a time, up to three dogs. No mixing households, so your pups get all my attention. Any size or breed is welcome, they just need to be house trained (unless they are a puppy- then please provide house training status). There's no fence, but there's a huge lawn and lake and river access for swimmers. Off leash only happens with great recall and your OK. Otherwise they're leashed outside. Either way, I'm always out there with them.
