I am based in Carbondale, CO. I am currently pet/house sitting full time throughout the summer and fall so I'm able to provide a high level of care for pets and homes throughout the valley! **UPCOMING HOLIDAY AVAILABILITY** THANKSGIVING Over thanksgiving (11/25-29) I will be camping in Southern Utah with my sister and her dog friendly labradoodle. I have a large truck camper that I will be staying in. If you have 1-2 dogs that need care during that time, I can bring them with me, so long as they are up for hikes and are friendly with other dogs. CHRISTMAS & NEW YEARS 12/23-25 I will be in the front range at my sister's house to celebrate Christmas. She has a friendly labradoodle. I'm open to taking 1-2 dogs with me to stay there as long as they are friendly with other dogs. 12/26-1/1: HEAVILY DISCOUNTED RATE FOR THE FOLLOWING ACCOMODATIONS: My parents and sister will then be visiting me in Carbondale area for the remainder of the holiday since I will have to be available for ski instructing during the peak season. If you need house sitting during those dates, I can do that, but would need to request my sister's labradoodle and 3 adults (my sister and my mom and dad) be allowed to stay there as well. Though I may have to work during a portion of those dates, my family is off of work so there would be minimal times that your pets would be unattended. Feel free to send a request and we can discuss in more details (I will adjust to the lower rates after we discuss). I will be part time ski instructing at Snowmass this winter so I still have a high level of availability throughout Dec-Apr as well. I've cared for my own dogs, roommates' dogs, friends' pets, Trusted Housesitter stays, and Rover sits over the past 10 years. I've cared for dogs from puppyhood to 13 years old. I've also cat-sat for friends, Trusted Housesitters, and Rover clients over the years. I'm more than happy to take them on walks, hikes, to dog parks, and out for potty/play breaks throughout the day. The longest I've watched someone's pet was for 2 months, and I loved it! I'm also happy to take them camping if that's their jam. Feel free to reach out with any other questions! A note on transportation - I have a truck camper (converted from a former ambulance) as my main vehicle. If there is any concern of me parking it on your property for house sitting or other services, let me know and I can park it elsewhere. It is reliable, 4WD and does super well on winter roads, so if you're up a dirt road, I have no concerns about being able to get there. If you have any questions about it, don't hesitate to ask!

Kelsey was great! She responded quickly to my last minute request and sent me plenty of updates while caring for my pets. They looked very happy and she left my house in great shape as well.
Kelcey is a very easy going person who happens to be smart, responsible, active and a great dog sitter! She stayed at my house for three days, and took great care of my 6-year-old dog. She fulfilled all of my requests to take my dog out for walks, feed her twice a day, and also took care of the house and hot tub. I highly recommend Kelsey as a house and pet sitter!
Kelsey stayed with our small dog in our home for 9 days. Our little dog was well taken care of and had great attention and walks. I trusted Kelsey completely in our home. I would be glad to have her again.
Kelsey was great with my puppy, but she parked her converted ambulance van in our custom brick driveway and it was leaking oil badly. She had to know it was leaking because it was such a bad leak. I trusted she would take better care of our property.
Kelsey was an amazing cat sitter. She provided daily updates. I would book her again.

Schedule
I currently am full time pet sitting for the summer and fall. I am very attentive and love morning, midday, and evening outings for fetch, dog park hangs, hikes, and walks. I can be available throughout the day full-time. After December, I will be part-time ski instructing for Snowmass. I am still available for all the same services but will need to be gone for a longer portion of the day if I'm working that day. I don't anticipate that it would be longer than 6-8hrs depending on how far away the sit is. A note on boarding - this is if you need overnight care for your pet or pets at MY home. House sitting is overnight care at your home or accomodations, sometimes I know that gets a little confusing. I much prefer house sitting in your home as I find that pets are much more happy in their own familiar environment with the all their comforts that they're accustomed to. If you need boarding outside of your home I can discuss a couple of options with you depending on the temperment of your pet and the length of the request. I will always be up front and transparent if I'm able to accommodate the request.

Safety, trust & environment
I am very respectful and clean when staying at a client's house. I treat it like my own (if not better). I love going for walks with your pup and keeping them on a leash. I also don't give in to the cute puppy eyes when I'm eating my food and keep them to their parents' approved food and treats. I always make sure we are on the same page about your needs and expectations and that I am 100% available and able to commit. Because of this, I have never cancelled on a client after a booking is confirmed.
A typical day
For dogs, I love to play fetch in the backyard or house if allowed throughout the day, and to take them for a walk around the park or neighborhood, or for a longer hike if they're up for it. Cats can interact with me as much or as little as they want. I am happy to play with whatever stringy or mousy toy they prefer (or sometimes just a tiny piece of trash they're obsessed with ?).

I can accommodate a variety of requests, but would like to know their temperament and how to make them feel the most relaxed and happy in my care. I prefer to come and meet you and your pets prior to our first sit so I can ensure you feel comfortable and assured that your pets will be given the highest level of care under my watch.
