Ruby can be a little anxious when our family is not around. Lu saw that and took extra special care of her. He even let her sleep with him despite her snoring :) Lu cared for Ruby for one week and shared photos and sweet stories everyday. I felt totally comfortable and relieved knowing that Ruby was getting longs walks and trips to the park each day. I will definitely ask Lu to take care of Ruby again.”

About: I have leash trained and kennel trained dogs over the years and train animals through gentle repetition and reward. We have a Golden Retriever named Biscuit and a Kelpie named Indi who are both super friendly and ready to play. We would prefer daytime services aside from boarding. I've lovingly cared for dogs since age 10, my mom’s farm in Missouri currently has 5 border collies. I love animals. About: I have grown up with a wide variety of dogs from Yorkshire Terriers to Boxers! I currently have three cats of my own and a German Shepherd Husky mix. I am very good at administering medicine to animals. I am currently working full-time as a high school teacher and my husband is a family physician. About: I am based in Carbondale, CO. I am currently pet/house sitting full time throughout the summer so I'm able to provide a high level of care for pets and homes throughout the valley! I've cared for my own dogs, roommates' dogs, friends' pets, Trusted Housesitter stays, and Rover sits over the past 10 years. I've cared for dogs from puppyhood to 13 years old. I start my day walking with my pet. When I am home I like to play with them in my fenced back yard. At the end of the day we always go for another walk to the park. About: I’ve owned and trained two dogs from puppyhood—a Husky and my current German Wirehaired Pointer, Lenny. Training and building a strong relationship with my dogs has always been important to me. Having lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for over 12 years, I spend most of my time outdoors hiking, walking, and exploring. When your pup stays with me—whether for an hour, a day, or overnight—you can count on them getting plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention. They’ll come home happy, tired, and ready to snuggle. I work from home so I usually get out for a walk or run in the morning. Afternoon jont to split up the day and then an evening activity depending on what is on the schedule. I have a fenced backyard and Lenny (my pup) to add to the fun. She’s a great companion to other dogs but also great for training.

I can take them to the dog park or on hikes, or if they're good with bikes, I can take them on even longer run/bike rides. I am very respectful and clean when staying at a client's house. I treat it like my own (if not better). I love going for walks with your pup and keeping them on a leash. I also don't give in to the cute puppy eyes when I'm eating my food and keep them to their parents' approved food and treats.

He really cares about making sure your dog will be happy in his care and for that reason he met with me and my sweet Ruby multiple times prior to booking to ensure it would be a good fit. Ruby can be a little anxious when our family is not around. Lu saw that and took extra special care of her. He even let her sleep with him despite her snoring :) Lu cared for Ruby for one week and shared photos and sweet stories everyday. I also am respectful and receptive to all household and pet needs on an individual basis.
