As a landscape architecture student at Virginia Tech, I love spending time outside and staying active—whether that means long walks, hikes, or just backyard playtime. I’ll follow whatever routine you’ve got and use whatever leash or gear you prefer. If your pup needs to be crated at certain times, I’ve got no problem with that—and I’ll make sure they’re settled and relaxed. “Outstanding Cat Sitter — Above and Beyond! Rebekah was absolutely wonderful with our two cats, Sadie and Bella! During the five days Rebekah cared for our girls, we received updates twice a day, always with great photos and videos. Every message was thoughtful and “newsy,” and Rebekah never hesitated to respond whenever we reached out, which gave us the total peace of mind everyone wants while out of town. One of our cats, Sadie, worked herself into such a state that she developed diarrhea even before we left. When we let Rebekah know, she suggested adding pumpkin to Sadie’s diet—and voilà! About: I’ve had many types of animals (farm, big, small, etc) my whole life as well as the ambition to be a veterinarian. I have basic husbandry and veterinary skills and knowledge. I am currently a senior in highschool and end class at 2:10. I am free weekends and open to caring for new types of pets! I helped raise a littler of ten black lab puppies, ensuring they received proper nutrition and constant affection. I’ve cared for many breeds in a variety of settings, including watching and managing up to 5 black labs at once, taking them on structured walks, playing with there favorite toys and keeping their routines calm and consistent. Mondays and Thursday I get out of class at 11:40 and 12:50. Tuesdays I arrive at school @11 and leave @3:40, Wednesdays 8-2:40 and Fridays 10-2:40. On weekends I’m available and times after school. I have a back yard, not fenced in. Pets in my home are not treated bad, not screamed at or hit to be punished. They are always treated like my own, with cuddles, little snacks if allowed and plenty of play time. They would go on walks and be seen by other individuals for petting if the owner is comfortable.

About: I've always had a dog in the family to care for and now I get the pleasure of caring for my "granddogs"! I feel comfortable administering medicines and accommodating special needs your best friend may have! I just recently retired and am looking to fill the hours I would normally be working with jobs from Rover.
