During the five days Rebekah cared for our girls, we received updates twice a day, always with great photos and videos. One of our cats, Sadie, worked herself into such a state that she developed diarrhea even before we left. When we let Rebekah know, she suggested adding pumpkin to Sadie’s diet—and voilà! About: I worked at a dog day care/boarding and grooming facility for 2 years as well as grown up with dogs my entire life. I’ve handled dogs of all sizes and breeds. As well as handling all kinds of different temperaments. I have 4 years of full time job experience and 2 years of part time experience. My schedule is extremely open and flexible. I am available every day during the week and I have no weekly/daily commitments that would interfere with the care you need for your pet. I have a fenced in yard as well as a dog park within 5 minutes walking distance of my house. I can adapt to your pets needs which include but are not limited to crating, eating alone, high stimulation play, low stimulation play, socialization, and more.

About: I have had a lifelong love of animals and have been caring for pets from a very young age. I grew up with both dogs and cats and learned early on the importance of being responsible, patient, gentle, and attentive to their needs. As an adult, I have continued to care for my own pets, including many cats and a rabbit, giving me experience with different animals, personalities, routines, and care requirements. I don’t see pet sitting as simply feeding an animal and letting them out—I believe pets need companionship, affection, playtime, exercise, and individual attention. I work part-time, which gives me an extremely flexible schedule and allows me to make pet care a priority. I am available every day of the week and can accommodate visits, walks, feeding schedules, and other care needs at various times throughout the day. Because my schedule is flexible, I can provide consistent and dependable care without having to rush through visits. I am able to adjust my routine around each pet’s individual needs and schedule, whether they need regular walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, or overnight care. I enjoy spending time with animals and would be happy to make caring for pets an important part of my daily routine. I have three cats of my own, so I understand the responsibility and commitment involved in providing daily care for pets. I make sure they always have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, a safe and comfortable environment, and plenty of attention and affection. I also spend time playing with them and providing enrichment to keep them happy and engaged. If caring for someone else’s pet in my home, I would follow the owner’s instructions carefully and maintain the pet’s normal feeding, bathroom, exercise, medication, and sleeping routines as much as possible. I would provide a calm, safe space where the pet can feel comfortable and would give them plenty of individual attention. I would also take into consideration their personality and comfort level, especially if they are nervous or adjusting to a new environment. Because I have cats, I would also make sure any visiting pet is safely separated when necessary and that introductions are handled appropriately. My priority would always be the safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet in my care.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since i’ve been alive! Growing up I have always been around animals and dogs! From bullies to dachshunds to great danes we’ve had them all. When my parents go out of town I am the one they rely on to take care of their four dogs and I have two dachshunds of my own. I also take care of my neighbors dogs when they are busy! I have potty trained, leash trained and worked on socializing them from the start! I would love to take care of other dogs the way I take care of my own! Like they are my kids! I am currently a stay at home wife that is attending college! I am open everyday of the week besides holidays and some weekends! I have school Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursday until early afternoon (2pm) so anytime after works for me! I have a fenced in small yard inside my home and I take my dogs on walks constantly! My two dogs are crate trained but if your fur baby isn’t it’s no big deal! I can take your dog on walks or make sure they have enough play time in your yard at home!

About: Send me your problem child! Owner of a tripod! Have had a working pack of dogs I train ages 12 wk to well now ! Doggy PT! Have handled aggressive dogs, but do not invite aggressive dogs into my home. Physical therapy with your dog! Does your neck get stiff?? Theirs too! Vet checked tools and unique perspectives! I am open to scheduling throughout the day if there is demand for it. If I am able to help care for your pet, I will. I am the same way with all animals, I give them their space and allow them to come to me. I train with kindness and motivation! If I'm walking your dog, I'm gonna work with your dog!

“Jan was amazing with Minion and his care. She was punctual, attentive, and made sure to let me know of anything she saw. She gives the absolute best updates too! Her attention to detail with our meet and greet gave me confidence but she really knocked it out of the oark with her stellar care. Weird measure metric I know but whenever we're away, his coat gets oily like he gets sad and doesn't clean himself. When we got home today he was happy, clean, and soft. So I know for sure he really enjoyed her company. I absolutely recommend her and will reach out to her for our future pet sitting needs.”

About: My golden retriever and I moved to NC from the PNW this last year so we know how to adventure at its finest! I have grown up with many dogs and have taken care of every age. My goldie is 3 yo and very playful and full of love for the outdoors. We go on multiple walks a day, one of which entails trails or the beach and your doggy would be receiving the same care! I am working full time Monday-Wednesday & Friday, so am completely available and home full time on Thursday, Saturday/Sunday for a fun day with the pups! I currently walk my dog 2-3 times a day even during the week days and spend a lot of time outdoors as she’s young and energetic! She is always a big time snuggler and I look forward to spending time playing and cuddling with your pup as well! If you need pet care during the week I go for a long walk w my pup in the morning and as soon as I’m home from work, I do not crate her during the day so if your dog would do well I can do either! I do also occasionally come home on my lunch to let her out for a short walk as well if time allows. I live in a home with a fenced in backyard with a doggy door. Any speciality care that is desired, I am ready to give!

About: I’ve always had dogs in the home since I was little. I can help train your dogs tricks if you’d like or just be another loving person to keep an eye on your animals as they are family! I’ve taken care of horses, dogs, cats, snakes, lizards and the occasional birds! Currently looking to make this my full time job so I’ll have plenty of availability to take care of your beloved pets! As long as I have no prior engagements! I can crate your dog if needed. I don’t have a fenced in backyard yet but more than willing to take them out on leash walk them around and play with them! Maybe even teach some new tricks!

About: I’m happy to serve Carteret County. I’ve grown up around all sorts of animals - dogs, cats, horses, chickens, etc. I’ve always loved animals.
