The best service I could have asked for. Exceeded expectations, sent me updates of my cats, played with them, brought in my mail, took out my trash, watered my plant, and was consistent with times he was able to show up. I look forward to working with him in the future as well! Thank you!

About: Pets, specifically dogs, have been a part of my family since I was born. Love all animals and care for them deeply. Currently, I have 2 dogs and a cat. All my children! Even have tattoos of them to honor each one! In late 2022, I helped my 1st dog, Pearl, cross the Rainbow Bridge after 16 and a half years together. Want to honor her by helping others❤️🐕🐈 Currently looking to make this my primary means of income. I want to make animals my priority! Willing to play, walk, feed, yes...even BATHE your dog (not cat...ha ha) if needed! Potty breaks can be 5 minutes or an hour! Playtime, walks, cuddles, lunch/dinner, naps can all be included! Willing to make your pet MY priority!

About: For as long as I can remember, I have grown up with both dogs and cats! I have been surrounded by them whether it be them being my own pets( or should I say my own family members because let’s face it, they are our family), my relatives house and even my neighbors house when babysitting. I know it can be hard leaving your fur baby alone, I just hope that I can make them and you comfortable! I am a full time teacher at Camp Lejeune! I work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm so I am available weekdays after 5:45 pm and then all weekend long. I take hour lunches so if in a nearby neighborhood I can let them out during the day or frequently on the weekends! In order to keep you and them at the most comfortable, I am able to house sit and take care of them in the comfort of your own home. I am 100% honest so that everyone has a happy, healthy and most importantly and safe stay!

About: I grew up with dogs as a kid. As an adult I’ve owned 2 dogs for a total of 4 years. The first I had for 3 years and had gotten him from a friend due to PCS. My current is a GSD that I got as an 8 week puppy who is currently over a year old that I trained myself. I currently work about 6-8 hours a day but have a short commute to work so if needed, I am able to check in on pets on a more frequent basis. I take my dog outdoors pretty frequently since he’s high energy whether it be on walks or for play in the yard. At least once a week, I take him somewhere public to work on his socialization and training with distractions. We train pretty frequently as well and have to say he does pretty well so if you’d like, I can assist in anything you’re trying to train. Disclaimer though, I’m not a professional trainer, only dogs I’ve trained are the ones I’ve owned. I live in a house with a pretty large fenced yard. I’m a big advocate for dogs getting activity, whether that’s physical like a walk or play outside or if it’s any kind of mental stimulation. My dog is crate trained and stays in his crate while I am not at home. I would prefer the same of your pet to ensure safety of your fur baby while I am away. Once I’m home, I allow my dog to free roam the house and will do the same for yours. My dog has been around several dogs and cats and is very friendly, social and playful, however, if needed, I have the ability to separate animals that don’t get along to ensure their safety. If there’s any questions on care I provide, please feel free to reach out! I’m pretty flexible and will do my best provide the care your pet is used to/needs.

About: I absolutely love animals. I've had dogs and cats since I was 6. Since then I've help train a service dog and fostered many other dogs. I currently have three dogs: chihuahua mix, pug rat terrier mix, and a great Pyrenees. I currently am a personal trainer so I don’t have a set schedule. I will be able to let the pet outside or spend time with them in between clients. I can take the pets on daily walks, depending on their schedule and when they like to. I like to know where the food is and if they get treats for doing specific things.

Jan was amazing with Minion and his care. She was punctual, attentive, and made sure to let me know of anything she saw. She gives the absolute best updates too! Her attention to detail with our meet and greet gave me confidence but she really knocked it out of the oark with her stellar care. Weird measure metric I know but whenever we're away, his coat gets oily like he gets sad and doesn't clean himself. When we got home today he was happy, clean, and soft. So I know for sure he really enjoyed her company. I absolutely recommend her and will reach out to her for our future pet sitting needs.

About: I have always been the one everyone goes to for animal care. Animals are driven to me. And when I come into somebody's home, the animals always sit with me or love up on me. I know how to take care of a variety of animals from dogs, cats, exotic animals, too farm animals. I have started watching pets on my own and have nothing but great reviews. I work for myself and I need a flexible schedule, as my son is autistic. He loves having animals around as well. I am a single mom and I love the fact that I can teach my son the appreciation for animals and what they bring into the home. When I am able to care for your pet in my home, they are able to socialize with my dog is well. He is very active. He is a lab pit mix. He is friendly and never had any issue with any other kind of animals. Your pet will also have more one on one care. When i do check ups at your home I'm only there for a short time and tend to get anxiety from being alone too long.

About: Hello! We are a husband-and-wife pet care team with a lifelong love for animals. Having both grown up surrounded by pets, caring for animals has always been a natural part of our lives. We are experienced dog owners, have trained our own dogs, and in recent years have also been responsible breeders of several dog breeds, giving us extensive hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. What sets us apart is that we typically work as a team, providing your pets with the attention and care of two dedicated animal lovers. Whether your pet needs daily walks, companionship, exercise, or extra attention while you're away, we treat every animal as if they were our own. We have experience caring for puppies, seniors, and dogs with special needs, and we are comfortable administering medications when required. For care in your home, we strive to maintain your pet's normal routine to minimize stress and keep them comfortable in their familiar environment. We provide feeding, fresh water, walks, exercise, playtime, litter box or yard maintenance, medication administration if needed, and plenty of affection and companionship. About: I’ve cared to dogs since I was 12, beginning with family pets and expanding to neighbors and friends. I helped raise a littler of ten black lab puppies, ensuring they received proper nutrition and constant affection. I’ve cared for many breeds in a variety of settings, including watching and managing up to 5 black labs at once, taking them on structured walks, playing with there favorite toys and keeping their routines calm and consistent. My experience cover feeding schedules, baths, crate safety and off leash play. I am currently a student at coastal Carolina community college as a dental assisting student. Mondays and Thursday I get out of class at 11:40 and 12:50. Tuesdays I arrive at school @11 and leave @3:40, Wednesdays 8-2:40 and Fridays 10-2:40. On weekends I’m available and times after school. I have a back yard, not fenced in. Pets in my home are not treated bad, not screamed at or hit to be punished. They are always treated like my own, with cuddles, little snacks if allowed and plenty of play time. They would go on walks and be seen by other individuals for petting if the owner is comfortable.

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats and have always loved animals. I used to volunteer at the animal shelter and would take the dogs on walks, administer medication, and enjoyed spending lots of time hanging out with them. I work full time but I am available after 4. I am also free every weekend. I am an active person and love to be outside so we would go on lots of walks. I have a dog at home and she is crate trained so I am used to putting pets in a crate if needed. I also feed her twice a day and walk daily.

About: Hi, I'm Ash. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently care for two dogs of my own and have experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and routines. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care. My goal is to keep things as consistent, calm, and low-stress as possible while you're away. Whether your dog needs a quiet companion, playtime, walks, medication, or simply someone who pays close attention to their needs, I'm happy to adapt to what makes them most comfortable. I'm reliable, communicative, and detail-oriented. I provide updates so you always know how your pet is doing, and I take the time to learn their routine, preferences, and personality instead of treating every dog the same. I genuinely enjoy caring for animals, and I treat every pet with the same patience, kindness, and respect I give my own. I currently work part-time and offer dog walking and drop-in visits during weekday mornings until 10:30 AM. Evening availability is offered Monday from 3:00–6:30 PM and Friday from 3:00–8:00 PM. My weekends are more flexible, and I do my best to accommodate both planned bookings and last-minute requests whenever possible. For house sitting, I can accommodate many schedules but cannot provide full-time weekday presence due to work commitments. I am happy to discuss your pet's specific needs to make sure we're a good fit. I prioritize keeping your pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I pay attention to behavior, environment, and any specific instructions you provide to make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable. In your home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s established routine closely. I also communicate clearly and provide updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

We can discuss more details if you’d like me to be your sitter! I do not plan to provide home amenities. I plan to walk, come and do drop in visits, feed, give water, play and other necessities you would need me to do!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
